YES! I watched Kelli throughout her exchange and at the very end. To me, Kelli looked almost smug like she was pleased with herself when it was all over. No tears for Madeline, she saved all those for Meredith. If I was Madeline, I would move on and not look back. No way Kelli is letting her into TC again no matter how much she improves (and she does need more time to do that). She has a better future ahead of her without DCC.

I know from my own personal experience (and I know others here have experienced it as well) after one of my best friends died of a sudden heart attack in his 30s that grief can be incredibly physically and mentally draining. It took me months to get anywhere close to normal again. I cannot imagine Shaina being able to shove all that internal struggle aside and learning dance routines, focusing on the kickline, etc. Wow. I admire her for being able to even get through practice that day without falling apart.

I’m a devout Christian and I did NOT like Kelli dragging her pastor onto the show to have a pep talk on camera on the field before a rehearsal. If you want to do that kind of thing, make it a private, optional event away from the cameras where they can speak openly if they CHOOSE TO DO SO with just their teammates present. Not a bunch of strangers. The inappropriateness of it was jarring when Kelli was rattling on about how Shaina “just wasn’t ready to talk yet” about what she was going through. Well, yes, Kelli, it may come as a surprise to you that this grieving young woman was not eager to spill her guts and cry in front of the cameras just for your TV show. Some people actually prefer to do that in private, not on a football field right before learning the field entrance that they have to have down perfect in like...two days or get cut.

It would be Season Three or Four. When they didn’t have enough $ for decent music and heavily featured that “turn off the fax” song.

"Meet Me in Vegas" is AWFUL. I mute the sound whenever it comes on. But it can't be as bad as the weird synthesizer tune with disjointed wailing that I've dubbed the Hello Kitty Orgasm song because of the meowing in it. Thankfully, I think it was only in one early season during prelims. Kaitlin's arrest was in March 2016 and she was charged with Shoplifting, Possession Of Marijuana, Possession Of Paraphernalia - Meth, and Possession Of A Controlled Substance Schedule. Her booking photo shows what look to be meth sores on her face. Her LinkedIn profile work experience stops at 2015 with a restaurant server job. I thought I saw her name on a dance studio website at some point but can't find it now. I hope she's gotten some help and is out of the risky behavior/situations she was in at the time.

I don’t think VK looks like she’s gained weight in that picture. But no way in heck is she “too thin”. 🙄 Now Daphne? Yes. Too thin. But not as bad as at calendar shoot. That was painful to look at. I thought Gina was the next runner up in the Thin Wars but having seen the edits she’s making to her pictures (😱), I don’t think she’s in the scary shape she was in at calendar shoot. Which is a good thing.

That’s the one thing I DID like about this episode, all the dancing we got to see. The rest has put me to sleep. When they showed the preview for next week, I was surprised to see they’re on the field practicing the entrance. I can only hope to hear Judy shouting “YOUR LINES!” But she’s gotten so quiet now, she probably won’t.😭

I understand why Kashara wasn’t everyone’s favorite. She wasn’t the most technical dancer on the squad and her weight was a constant battle. But to find fault with her accent? Seriously?? 😕

It's always pretty clear that if Kitty marks you for 'special treatment' and unless you're a favorite like Morgan, your future is doomed. (cue "This will be your last night." music) Fortunately, Brittney forged ahead and (wisely) took classes with Kitty and made it the next year. I always liked Brittney's goofy sense of humor and ability not to take herself too seriously.

YES! Kalli looks GORGEOUS. I was looking at her Instagram and her figure is to die for. She looks so happy with her husband and little girl. Glad she's doing so well.

I’m not going to attack you for having a different opinion. You and I actually agree much of the time. And I ❤️ Brennan! But I don’t think this was anything like the Emmys where its one single winner. There’s actually nowhere to go if you’re on stage at a pageant. You’re kinda trapped. Now if someone starts snarling and saying they were “robbed,” that’s different. That would be unprofessional. And Jalyn did wait and removed herself as unobtrusively as possible. She didn’t stomp off in a huff or start howling. I think it caught her totally off guard and she knew she needed a moment to get it together or end up losing it in front of everyone. I think that would have been far more unprofessional.

In my head, I refer to Truck Taylor as “Dreams Crushed” Taylor. When they watched her that last time on the field, I thought her kicks were not bad at all. Her power and showmanship were great. I’d have taken her over “we can wake up her wow” Breelan. I feel like they took Breelan largely because Melissa had invested so much time in her. Not because she was actually any good.

Kelli was enamored with Morgan’s abs and the fact she’d had a child. And she photographed so well, whereas Allie did not. Plus Morgan had the Kitty seal of approval. But it didn’t save her the next year.

That whole visit had an odd vibe to it. Kacey’s affect was so flat and low key. Almost Meredith like? I felt like she didn’t really want to be there. Her blouse looked like kitchen curtains to me. 😆

The thing Karen was doing wrong was she didn’t correct her dance mistakes after being corrected. They showed her more than once “doing her own thing”. I think that killed her more than the boots. But I agree that she was a mature, well-spoken young woman who would have made a great ambassador. I always felt bad for Mandy Correa, who got cut the last night because she got “swallowed up” by the field. She was a beautiful, powerhouse dancer. They had her next to Joana Liad, who wasn’t much taller. But that was also the same year they made all those cuts on the same night. Ugh.

Thut Megan...I loved her. Great dancer and a sweet disposition but the uniform did her in once Kelly saw her in it.

I know you're hoping Brennan will be holding it down someday, am I right? 😉

Yes, we all have opinions and I totally disagree with yours most of the time (especially in this case). But there’s room for everyone here. It would get pretty boring if we all agreed all of the time.

I haven't watched the episode yet because I was visiting my best friend who was in town last night but I'm afraid if I do watch it, I'll break the TV by throwing something at it when Kelli starts in on Jaylyn. It's taking everything I have not to tweet something on Kelli's account stating I know who was being toxic in that meeting and it wasn't Jaylyn. I echo what CrazyinAlabama said. Jaylyn needs to keep her head down, finish her year and vamoose. There's no way Kelli will keep her another season anyway and Charlotte will likely chime in with talk of "She needs to be GREAT!". Who wants to stick around for that nightmare when they are still getting paid peanuts?

Kathy Bates a indeed a great actress. I will probably end up tracking down the movie to watch so I can get the context after hearing her so many times. 🙃

The Pluto ads get stuck in my head. Especially the "Cheddar News" song and the "That's money in the bank!" guy. Then there's good ole former NFL Joe Namath hawking Medicaid and insurance. I'm like, Joe, do you really need rides to your medical appointments? I know your knees are shot but seriously? Are you that broke? The one ad I did like was the "Get Around" car app that lets you rent a car with your phone. The little jingle was actually cute.
