  1. So are we to assume then that she is also not severed? Clearly her death was faked so I have to assume that she was complicit in that. And it has a whole another layer to Gemma's candle ending up being in her office.
  2. Okay I just finished today's episode and I don't know anybody else who watches the show except a friend who's two episodes behind me. Did I see what I thought I saw at the very end of the episode?
  3. I've always thought Christine was the prettiest and also very upbeat and fun. Robyn has always looked to me like Baba Yaga in profile.
  4. She's always looked like a witch though. IMO she's the least attractive of the four wives, both physically and personality-wise.
  5. At least the hospital mattress has sheets on it. 🤷‍♀️
  6. I can't believe that she told Dr now the physical therapist said she couldn't help her. That lying cow!
  7. I don't normally post on the live thread but this woman is a nightmare. And sleeping on a bare mattress gives me the heavy-jeebies.
  8. I think it is for a lot of people (not me). But it has to be something both parties agree to.
  9. We all change and grow. She may not have seen it as bad treatment in the past. Just because we could see it, doesn't mean she could. Maybe him admitting that he would never have an intimate relationship with her again was the straw that broke the camel's back. I think that's fair enough; that would be a deal breaker in a marriage for me, too.
  10. I actually feel the same way about Amy. I think she's more intelligent than she lets on. I don't think anyone in the family is stupid.
  11. But, again, it's not that easy to go against how you were raised, and it's not that easy to leave. If it was, people who are being abused would just leave. But they don't because it's hard. And I think Kody's treatment of his wives is tantamount to emotional abuse.
  12. Christine has six kids and no education. Was she supposed to support them with a minimum wage job a McDonald's? I don't agree that she was unhappy before Robyn, I think she was happy taking care of kids and time-sharing a husband, but even if she was, the idea of leaving, having to support herself and all those kids, and going against her religion would have felt insurmountable I'm sure.
  13. She chose to stay because Kody wanted it, and she believed he was the head of the household. You don't just overcome that kind of indoctrination overnight. ETA: what I mean to say is, Kody said they're doing the show, so they're doing the show. They may have wanted it for different reasons, but Christine really believed in the lifestyle and she was always going to do what Kody thought was right. She's gotten older and the scales have fallen from her eyes, so to speak.
  14. Did she really choose it, though? That's how she was raised. Her family raised her to keep sweet and be a good sister wife. There is not indication that they encouraged or even valued education for women. I think she's coming to terms with that now, but I don't think she can be blamed for living the culture she was raised to believe was right.
  15. He also plays William Frawley in the new Being the Ricardos movie on Amazon. JK Simmons is one of the best actors out there in my opinion.
  16. When I was watching today, my daughter was in the room playing Minecraft. When Kody said, "Janelle's kids," she turned around and said, "aren't those his kids?!" He never calls them his kids, except Robyn's.
  17. I'm pretty sure it was always in the 90% range though. I have similar issues to Janelle and I was keeping an eye on that.
  18. Well, and he said overweight, right, not fat. I'm obese and I'm aware of it. It's ok to say it in a "not mean" way. He was just stating the fact that at that time we were being told that being overweight was a risk factor for covid complications. I personally had it in November of 2020. I also have asthma and I had no symptoms. I only tested because I knew I'd been exposed.
  19. I'm sorry, Robyn has a child care provider? To watch the kids while she...what, exactly? And how dare Kody tell Christine he doesn't want an intimate marriage anymore, then get upset that she moved his stuff to the garage.
  20. I'm only halfway through the episode, but mad respect to Gabe for not punching Kody in the mouth when he criticized Janelle.
  21. I had no side effects at all. But I had COVID in November 2020, and had no symptoms, despite being overweight and asthmatic. I only tested because I was in contact with someone who was positive.
  22. Ha! I was told to get the same booster as my original shot! 🤣 I got Moderna for all three.
  23. I have never hated him as much as I hate him now. He's awful. And the lack of self-awareness is astounding. If everyone in your family thinks Robyn is running the show, then maybe it's a good idea to reflect on why. 🤔
