I think Bill probably keeps the books and does other administrative tasks for the pet store. -

I have read that Texas has rejected Common Core and that it is a violation of state law for schools in Texas to adopt Common Core curriculum. Texas uses their own standards. http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-Texas/2014/06/18/Abbott-No-Common-Core-in-Texas -
I understand your points, but I think what some of us are curious as far as the "reality" aspect of the show is how they truly manage everything, how much help they have, can one of them handle both kids in public without help, etc.. But certainly, regardless of whether they have 5 nannies we never see, or if Jen can't lift Will in and out of his chair, and so on, Will and Zoey are blessed to be part of the Klein family.

You make some good points, but it has been brought up that while the Kleins certainly have struggles, they are not representative of the average little person family, due to the fact that they have TV fame and a lot of money. I agree that the show has some educational aspects, or it did, but part of the educational part, at least in my understanding, was supposed to be on how little people manage day-to-day life in a "big person's" world. If they basically hire out for anything they need help with, and have the money to make any customizations/purchases they want or need to make their life easier, we are seeing more of how money can help a little family overcome obstacles, and less of how a regular little family might live and overcome obstacles. And if the "educational" show doesn't even show true, real day-to-day life, and how they truly live, the education part is limited.

I clicked the constable link in the above article and am just curious, what does the BM stand for after JD's name? I don't want to take any guesses, lol. http://www.arconstableassociation.com/Washington/

Go ahead and add them! It will get boring for some of us if it's all rainbows and unicorns in here, and people who disagree can skip over them or post their opinion on whatever it is. Personally I have good things to say about them, as well as more negative/snarky things to say! -
mbutterfly, if you are referring to my post in the Benessa thread, I meant JimBob or the TLC goons talking to Ben (or strongly warning him) about appropriate online behavior if he is to remain as part of the courtship and/or show. Both Boob and TLC seem to want protect the Duggar image, most likely for financial reasons, so I can see that happening. Sorry, I didn't mean that JimBob had gangsters threatening Ben's life or anything! LOL!

I would hope there is a plastic sheet or waterproof mattress cover on Boob and Clown Car's bed.

I actually do think Jen dresses very well. I wonder if most of her clothes are children's clothes or if she has a lot of things custom made. Or are there clothing lines for little people? -
Jana is listed as a lay midwife apprentice on the Arkansas midwife page: http://www.healthy.arkansas.gov/programsServices/familyHealth/WomensHealth/Pages/LayMidwifery.aspx I really hope that Jill finishes her midwifery training. She seemed to love it so much. She had mentioned in a Nepal episode something about it being her dream or goal to work in a foreign country as a missionary midwife and that Derick also had a missionary heart and so they had the same goals.

I actually didn't think it was too bad of a joke for the anti "Obama's gay agenda" crowd. -

When does the new season start? Someone posted on the Little Couple FB page that it's not until March. Is it really that far off? I thought it was sometime this fall. -

He said: “I had a friend who went and lived among headhunters and cannibals, and so I prayed to the Lord, ‘Please don’t send me among headhunters and cannibals.’ So He sent me to Washington.” He is saying, in my opinion, that he prayed to God not to have to work among headhunters and cannibals, and God sent him to Washington DC...where he is working amongst headhunters and cannibals (not literally of course) so God got the last laugh. -

I could be wrong, but I don't think he is dissing Derick or missionary work. I think he is dissing Obama and saying Washington DC is full of headhunters and cannibals. -

I'm starting to think the other format was better....there were daily posts. Now it's like crickets in here, with only a few posts in over a week. -
I kind of wonder if JimBob (or his goons) confronted Bin about his anti-Catholic rant on Facebook, basically telling him to calm his shit down on social media if he wants to stay on the Benessa/TLC gravy train because they have a viewing audience that they can't tick off. After Bin's dad got word of that, he got annoyed that someone else is trying to control his spawn, and this is his way of retaliating against Boob. Who knows!

Yeah, that is the dumbest thing I have read lately. All based on a Twitter pic that Jill posted of some of her brothers who had come over to mow the lawn. So the "author" ran with it, saying that Derick had neglected his duties as a husband by not mowing the lawn, forcing Jill to call her brothers to do it. She had lunch with Jessa and for sure they must've discussed Derick and his neglectful ways. And Jill and Derrick "repaired" their marriage at the wedding of their friends and are hopefully back on track. How corny!

Is there a certain age when the kids start getting assigned jurisdictions?

Thanks, I couldn't find that. Not sure what clip I saw when I was looking for it. Anyway, maybe it doesn't mean anything but it struck me as strange. For all the pomp and seriousness that the Duggars place on courtships, when it comes down to the guys actually asking JimBob for permission, I have found JimBob to be awkward and unsure. He was like that with both Ben and Derick asking him....almost like he had not thought about the possibility much if at all.....but then he says yes. And then the questions comes afterwards. And he didn't even talk to Michelle before he went to Nepal about what she felt about a courtship in case Derick asked? Maybe he was actually surprised by Derick asking, but it doesn't seem like he should have been.
