This Oscars has been the perfect mix of shoo-ins and shocks. The no host format has really worked so far as well. I've really enjoyed it!

I went into Bohemian Rhapsody with reservations but Rami absolutely blew me away. He totally deserves it.

Amanda looked drunk to me. At the very least she was slurring her words. I think the proper way to deal with her is just laugh like Da'Vonne did because she’s delusional and unreasonable when she gets that way. Josh did nothing wrong but he was trying to talk to an insane person. They all seem to be on friendly terms on Twitter though. It’s totally bizarre to see Bananas go this early in the game. It will be a nice reprieve to have virtually a whole season without him. I hope Zach quickly follows him out the door. And it’s weird how we have hardly heard from some people. Like I keep forgetting that Natalie N is even on the show until she shows up in a challenge. So Kyle’s hairline is starting to look rough. No wonder he’s wearing hats. CT has a cute belly!!

I’ll take your word for it but I'll freely admit I'm one of the few people in the universe that can't stand Jenna. I think she's full of it and hate that she always gets a free pass because she's "dim". So I’m perfectly fine with Amanda giving her crap.

But that wasn't made up. I specifically remember Jenna admitting to it on the reunion show and for some reason this myth has evolved that Amanda made it up. She didn't.

Exactly. And even though I know the attendees got out of there unharmed while watching I kept thinking how easily it could have turned into a Woodsock ’99 situation with rioting and sexual assaults. I mean the only thing there seemed to be sufficient supply of was alcohol. What a cluster****.

This. And I'm going to defend Simona Halep as well because yes, she can get a crazy attitude going toward her box with things are not going her way but she is always respectful to her opponents and imo loses with class. I frankly can’t help but like her.

I finally saw this. Talk about disappointing! Mary Poppins was one of my favorite movies growing up and this was unable to come even close to touching the magic of the original. As hard as I tried I could not connect the new actors to their characters. I love Emily Blunt but she felt like a faux Mary Poppins to me (I mean that in the nicest way possible because I really do love her) but Julie Andrews just owns that role. On top of that Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer did not feel like the adult Michael and Jane AT ALL. As others have already said, there was nothing memorable about the music and even the dance numbers did nothing for me. And that china bowl scene was bizarre wasn’t it? I did not understand the point other than to give the original animators a chance to reanimate the characters and to give Lin-Manuel Miranda a platform to rap. I was so looking forward to this and I think everyone involved tried their hardest but missed the mark.

Thank you!! I can't believe all these people wanting to see do Johnny do well. I realize it's to spite the vile squad but HE'S NO BETTER! He's been awful for years and he and Tony are still the strongest team there. I just find him beyond infuriating.

I still hate Johnny. No matter how vile or awful the others on the show are I still hate Johnny. So I can't join the chorus of those who want to see him do well. Right now the only one I don't find extremely off-putting is Marie. Go figure.

They're ALL trash! I can't even feel all that bad for Cara because she's so pathetic but I hate bullies so I was glad Marie stepped in and stood up for her partner. And didn't Cara say this season was going to be an all time great? WTH? It's going at a glacial pace, there is no one to root for and the damn Redemption House is shown more than the actual house and challenges. I'm in til the end but unless that ending involves Johnny getting his ass handed to him I'm going to be disappointed. Ugh.

I actually don’t like watching indoor tennis. It’s a bit like watching indoor football…it just doesn’t seem right. So I agree with you that it’s an outdoor tournament and it should be played outdoors but this year I find that I have to turn away when the players have these heat related issues. I mean last night Fed actually looked a bit shell shocked and imo it had more to do with the stifling heat than his opponent. He appeared mentally out of it and I found it uncomfortable to watch. You are right though that part of what makes the game great is watching players fight through adversity and pushing their bodies to the limits. I guess I just find that this year I’m less inclined to want to watch the suffering :)
