  1. I went back to make sure I had my facts straight about him. I decided to google his name. #602/Tracy Kennedy. He did co-write a book called "Mistrial of the Century: A Private Diary of the Jury System on Trial" with his wife. He also killed her and then himself in 2008, although I didn't see a lot of info about this. Link: [url=http://www.wdam.com/story/8558908/former-o-j-simpson-juror-dead-in-apparent-murder-suicide]
  2. After a few complaints, they did set up a second TV area. But then group 1 made a rule that group 2 couldn't watch a video unless group 1 had already watched it. WTF? So after more complaints, Ito told the deputies to make a schedule of what would be shown and stick to it. And yes, they did limit access to the pool and gym. They had to work around what the hotel would let them do, as the hotel had regular guests and also wasn't getting any extra benefit like publicity. Ito did get some gym equipment donated and they set up a jury only gym. I got the TV info from reading the transcripts of Ito's jury interviews. That guy is all over them and sounds like he would be horrible to live with. Multiple juror complaints about him. He was copying names and info from the phone & conjugal visit logs. When they asked him, he gave a bullshit excuse and said he threw the paper out. They searched his room and found it hidden in his laptop case. Ito then dismissed him. I answered in my first paragraph. My iPad won't let me move your quote up there.
  3. Maybe season 3 could be American Crime Story:The Other Trial of OJ Simpson 2:Electric Boogaloo.
  4. There was a big room (sounds like a banquet room) and the TV area was on one side. After complaints, they set up another one on the other side. They were supposed to share any tapes, but someone on the first side made a rule that the 2nd side couldn't watch a tape unless side 1 watched it first. After more complaints, Ito told the officers to make an official calendar of what would be shown and stick to it. (I got this from reading the transcripts of the juror's removals.) He never came out and said it. I wish he would have. He more alluded to it IMO. But I definitely thought he had a change of heart. Kris gave an interview about what was factual or not about the show and said thet got it wrong, that she was very pregnant during the trial.
  5. IMO Ito makes it pretty clear that he released Juror Florio-Bunten for lying when he was asking her questions about communicating w/another juror when he forbade them to talk. IMO he's kind of dismissive about the letter about a book. (I can't link but it's the link with all the civil depositions. The section says juror transcripts and it has her name Bunten there. Click that link and about 1/2 way down the page, he questions juror #353/Bunten.)

    S32: Kyle Jason

Maybe we should call him Charmin, since he's an ass wipe. IMO
  7. The worst for me was a couple episodes ago when Kyle accidentally flicked his peeling skin into the boiling drinking water. Scott pointed out that it happened, and Kyle said Blondie could drink that, then they both laughed. That might've been the grossest thing I've ever seen on Survivor (and I've seen just about every episode). Kyle was talking about raising his daughters. Would he like them being treated like that?
  8. I wondered about this too. But I thought maybe the crime scene tech could've taken all photos, then possibly opened the blind for more light while collecting the other evidence. It was a tiny little bathroom & it may have been dim. For me, that would've been a reasonable doubt.
  9. In addition to thinking he was completely guilty, I thought he was fake sobbing at the end. I saw 1 tear that he managed to eke out.
  10. Me too. And I thought it would happen w/David Schwimmer too, because during all the previews for this, I would always yell, "That's Ross!" But he's doing a good job as Robert K.
  11. To be fair, Kato eating a burger would be a liberty that Murphy & team took. I don't know what he testified to in the criminal trial but in the civil deposition, he was clear that he had chicken. (I have a lot of empathy for Kato. Nicole's friendship with him had chilled due to the fact that she thought OJ was buying all her friends and then he gets stuck in the middle of this mess. IMO he got a rep for being goofy/weird that he didn't deserve.)
  12. I didn't believe a word she said. I'm glad the prosecutor re-tried the counts that had been hung. She almost got away with it. I don't buy her that she was afraid. Her dad helped her plenty after the murder so I'm sure he would've helped her if she came to him and said she had to leave him. I don't believe he was ever physically abusive. And even the verbal abuse was kind of weak. While I don't condone his calling her names (especially in front of the kids--they testified to that), I think he just got so frustrated with her. I don't have a link, but one recorded fight was because she was supposed to be a SAHM taking care of the kids, but he found out she was putting them in daycare. I think she was addicted to painkillers (50 bottles found on her, I wonder if she was doctor shopping) and the kids testified that she just laid in bed all the time. And the whole getting pregnant thing for the 2nd trial. No job, no husband/boyfriend in the picture, 3 kids w/a dead dad and she feels IVF would be a good solution. Puh-lease! I think she just wanted the judge and/or jury to have sympathy for her, like 'oh this poor lady won't be able to raise her kid.' I feel for the 3 kids that lost their dad and mom, and his parents. (Link to a story about the kids' victim impact statements: http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/Julie-Harper-Second-Degree-Murder-Sentencing-Jason-Harper-365435371.html)
  13. Not sure if anything's wrong with him, but in the last few episodes, he's been very snarky w/some of the people he's interviewing. Tina New from the Pegye Bechler case and the murderess Shannon from last weeks, for example.
  14. Had another thought: the gun Shannon first said she didn't like guns, then later said she got one from a friend because she was afraid. Jemeir was a cop who had a gun. What gun was used to kill Demita? I thought they said it matched Shannon's but she never said anything about Jemier getting her gun, either by taking it or her giving it. Hmm... Edited: found & watched the Snapped episode. Shannon's gun was a 38 and the murder weapon/bullet was a 38. Shannon claimed she threw the gun away after having it for one day so no ballistics. No mentij of comparing to Jemeir's gun.
  15. The whole story of how she was at the apartment and the janitor only saw her because Jemeir crawled into the car was off. Also her phoned pinged at the apt the day before. She claimed they had to do recon. Wouldn't the boyfriend already know the apt? I would assume he's visited her, so Shannon's story on that made no sense. Her parents are in such denial. I did want to see the phones records to see who was originating all of the stalking calls. Were they incoming or outcoming? I can't believe the police didn't mention them.
  16. I've seen this covered on another show. On the news report tape when he's crying, it is so obvious he's faking it. And I remember one detective saying he would stop crying until someone came in the room and then start up again with the wailing and 'tears'. Detective never saw any real ones. I think he's where he belongs and his mom is nuts. I feel bad for their kids.
  17. I wondered about his hair too. It was strange. In one pic they showed, it was a lot more normal looking.
  18. I wonder if this was a case of no evidence of suicide, so it must be murder. There were no fingerprints on the jug of antifreeze and no glass of antifreeze sitting around. So how did he pour it and drink it? If I was a jury member, I don't know if I would've convicted her, but I would wonder about that.
  19. re: gender specific necklaces (because it won't let me bold or snip) They have done that before, although I don't have a list of examples. I do remember in Vanuatu (men vs women), John, who won immunity, got a 2nd necklace to give to a woman. He got to visit their camp for a little while, and at tribal, once the men were done, he got to stay and listen, then give away the necklace right before the vote. I've always thought that was very interesting. They should do it more.
  20. So the defense team admitted that this jerk was stalking the doctor & his girlfriend, sending the doctor false stories, and basically harassing them, but was innocent when the doctor ends up murdered? I'm glad that the jury saw through this completely ridiculous story. I feel so bad for the sons, with both of their parents being murdered within 2 years or so. My dvr said that this was supposed to be the anti-freeze murder case that was preempted after the Paris attacks. But that is now scheduled for next week.
  21. I think she is guilty. But the prosecution is/was so hyper focused on Russ that she'll never even be investigated. Smh
  22. It'll probably never be mentioned again, but I really want to know what 3 people Simon voted out. I kept thinking they would show Miranda reading it or Agent Dime Eyes seeing it on her desk.
  23. 3 felonies: kidnapping (because he picked her up and took her near the woods), sexual assault/rape (used his finger & attempted his penis) and attempted murder (attempted strangulation & beat her about the head) She really was lucky that passerby came home and was paying attention. I really believe she would be dead.
  24. Going from memory, I believe he was cleared rather quickly and the police were kind of 'let's not waste time on him'. I have wondered if he was an off duty cop, or federal officer or military or something. Not that one of those can't be a bad guy. But something that once they started investigating and typing him into a computer, something easy to check popped up. He was sentenced to 3 consecutive life sentences. He will be eligible for parole at age 60. Not sure how that works, if he still has another 2 sentences to serve but that's the law in VA. I believe they are seeking the death penalty in Hannah's case, in which case, he'll never leave jail. Not sure what they are seeking in Morgan's case.
