That didn’t bother me as much as her “she doesn’t have the look of the girl next door … she’s more like the girl last night”. How freaking condescending can you get. I’m not a Kat -fan (she’s too extra for me) but seriously. Could they get a worse photo of her?!?!?

I am surprised the 3 vets had as much composure as they did. I see where some people might perceive an attitude when they were cut, but this was a situation that was building. Obviously the vets were all talking about potential cuts, especially after Meredith. They were not separated from their friends like in past years where they wait in the studio to be called in the office. They were cut on a freaking Zoom call. Lily, while first on the chopping block, said that her teammates told her not to go without fighting for her spots. She then shares the news with her friends who are devastated.... and then Brennan gets a call. She is feeling Lily’s heartache and bracing herself for her own cut. Hannah, a vet who was on Show Group for 2 years, is called last while she is out in the hallway consoling her friends. Again, compounded heartache. I like Lily, but she did struggle in rehearsals. That said, every time she got to the field, she would shine. Brennan fought through Covid to get to training camp, one that was only 3 weeks long (2 for vets?) knowing the poise and maturity she brings to the team, they couldn’t give her the benefit of the doubt that she would rally back as her health improved? and then there is Hannah. A powerful performer who was lauded by several guest choreographers over the past two years. She admits her struggle with anxiety and depression AND the pressure of finishing grad school....and not being in her own personal and comfortable environment. I looked. HARD. at the screen every time she danced. With the exception of the dance she did not know well and one where she was not super powerful, she performed as well as the others around her. The girl was stressed and exhausted, not disinterested. You cannot tell me they feel Alora Rose is stronger than they know Hannah to be. Added to that, they cited the judges’ scores on the leaderboard. Kristen was lower than Hannah. So was AR. AND IT WAS DONE ON A ZOOM CALL. How impersonal can you possibly make this? I don’t see attitude. I see 3 young women who were crushed.

I’ve been following the Harvey Weinstein trial. One of the witnesses who claim sexual harassment is a costume designer. She alleges that she was offered a place on PR and was told she would win the entire thing in order to placate her about something Harvey did. This confirmed to me what this forum has always thought...that the producers have more say than the judges. And in light of this allegation in the trial, given how Victoria slips through...I’ve got to wonder. ....

I’m sure she will complain that just like all women in Moldova all dress beautifully all the time, she will claim that there are no plus size women there either.

Because certainly the organization she has been groomed for her entire life and that is her penultimate dream does not contribute to this problem. Hypocrisy much? I’m not sure how much of a push Leland has to give to amoral Granny....she heard the tapes Kristen made (and it doesn’t seem like she talked to him about it or she probably would have accused her daughter of tampering with the sound) and still opted to sleep with him. If she is ok with dating a sociopath, her moral compass is already demagnetized. I’m glad I’m not the only one who finishes an episode and doesn’t feel like there is real resolution.

I don’t watch this mess any more but still come here for updates and validation for choosing to abstain. I love the humor here. i cannot watch these women act like sexual pigs in public. I’ll say it again, if this were Real Men of OC, they would be charged for verbal or physical assault for their behavior towards the opposite sex. These women are mothers! How can they do this?

I’ve been on the receiving end of that mistake; not to make you feel worse, but it is a pretty awful thing to hear But she shouldn’t have gotten pissy about it It wasn’t intentional Poor Julia. But Kat and Meredith did worse in media training by far, so I still call foul on this.

I actually seethe when I think about how unbelievably obnoxious Kelli was to Kelcey during the entire TCC summer worrying about having her speak too much and her embossing herself again, making comments about marking the choreography, etc, and Meredith, who is so much worse, is her pet. I. Don’t. Get. It.

I remember Kinzie being a taller dancer and usually settling in the back during the large group rehearsals. I never could determine if she did it because she was one of the shyer girls or if she was giving some of those super petit girls a chance to see the instruction from close up. I have friends who are over 6 feet and I agree that they are viewed as overly aggressive or attention seeking when they are louder. Totally unfair. I have never had a problem or even Given it a second thought when Victoria moves to the front to learn choreography. I’ve always seen that as she is extremely eager to learn. I did have an issue with her in the front during the tour only because she was in that locker room the year before. She was one of the later cuts and she definitely had a few days on the field and therefore was in that locker room. it is sad that Kelli and TPTB have made her such a divisive element. If they didn’t force her as a feature so often, I don’t think she would garner as much of the vitriol she gets on these forums.

I am not a trained dancer, and I can see oh so many mistakes in VK’s dancing. And just to be clear, I am not a fan. But I certainly don’t hate the young lady. I just hate that we are being forced into the narrative that she is not only THE comeback girl of the millennium, but she is also par excellence. They did the same thing when Maddie came back her second year. There were clearly mistakes being made, but they would literally highlight other girls on the other end of a row or the kick line to draw attention away from the mistake she was making. Victoria looks better this year, she’s clearly a more mature dancer than she was last year, she has the DCC style down (which is not a surprise). If it just was a simple she worked hard, still makes mistakes, but she clearly deserves to be on the team, I actually would’ve been fine with her making the squad. What I cannot stand is Kelli believing that the viewers are blind, stupid, or that gullible to believe in the swampland she is shelling That isn’t the reason I logged in to post however. I just watched the opening of the episode and, while I don’t like ever writing this word, FUCK YOU, Kelli. If you really cared about the emotional anguish that some of those women were dealing with, you would’ve found them a pastor or a counselor to speak to on a non-rehearsal night. Do not think for a second that we do not believe you weren’t hoping for Shainna to fall apart on screen so you could have some pathos in the episode. AND THEN you would expect her to magically box up these feelings YOU FORCED HER to confront AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST FIELD REHEARSAL so she could concentrate on the night that often “makes or breaks” a candidate. I’m so beyond disgusted right now. And if there were tears, she could get the you- need- to- forget-all-of-that as a performer ( or risk being accused of being unprofessional like Jalyn. ). In contrast, all I can think about is Jen C teaching choreo at the start of the season as a guest, and giving one of the girls a hug because she actually EMPATHIZED with what she was going through. You have had them come in for stupid ass tours of the locker room that some of them had already seen, you have had him come in for media literacy; are you telling me that you could not have had a separate night to allow them to unpack some of the emotional baggage they are dragging with them? You, Kelli, are 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩.
