  1. And Hook and Jasmine are in their EF forms as well, just like Snow and Charming and Rumple. Something is definitely up.
  2. Um, Ariel, what's that you're holding? .........................OH. OH SHIT. So we're definitely getting Genie!Aladdin vs. Genie!Jafar.
  3. Well, at least it's Emma/Snow/Regina in the next ep and not just Emma/Regina. Also, the press release says Prince Achmed is in this? And vikings!? What the hell!?
  4. Unless you're Snow White, in which case telling a secret is worse.
  5. The problem is the whole "it's doing better than other shows" doesn't really work anymore when not only is it just barely doing better, but it is failing as a lead-in to other shows on Sunday night and the show before it (AFHV) does better. And why would they renew the show when they KNOW that it's going to just get even worse ratings in a S7? It makes much more sense for them to cancel it along with most of their other dramas and re-align the network, especially Sunday night's line-up, as more comedy-oriented. OUAT just doesn't really fit their ideal future vision for the network. Whoever made the football analogy is correct: ABC doing a "safe play" in retaining OUAT sounds less potential rewarding than taking more of a risk by completely shaking up the Sunday line-up. With a new line-up, there is the potential for better ratings, whereas a S7 of OUAT is guaranteed lower ratings given how much of the audience has left the show. After all the negative buzz around 6x13, I don't think a slight uptick for 6x14 is enough.
  6. According to Tvbythenumbers, the audience number was 2.95. So much less of a dramatic rise than the demo number there.
  7. 1. 0.9 is the average they canned OUATIW on, so you can't presume a renewal. 2. Let's say it again: ratings are not the only factor at play here. They're a big one, sure, but not the only one. If that's the case, explain why 6x05 - the Aladdin and Jasmine debut - flopped.
  8. OK, WTF is she on? That wasn't a break-up, Emma specifically told Hook to come back and talk to her later once he'd gotten his shit together. A couple taking some time off isn't the same as a break-up, Brigitte. Learn the difference.
  9. Relax, there won't be a Emma/Hook/August love triangle. There isn't nearly enough time in the season for that to get squeezed in. It's weird because she actually did essentially tell him to come back later when she did that. Her words and her actions did not add up. If she was going to say that, she didn't need to take the ring off and give it back to him.
  10. No, because the EQ used the magic shears to separate herself from Regina. And even before that, the doppelganger couldn't die, it was only if the original was killed that the double would die too.
  11. Weren't Emma, Gideon, Hook, Aladdin and Jasmine seen filming at the Storybrooke docks for this episode?
  12. A direct recycling of the resolution of 4x20 where Regina was going to erase Zelena from existence until she had a flashback to some random time.
  13. Huh? She specifically said she doesn't care about him killing David's dad, it was the not telling her part that irked her. And for some reason I suspect that Emma is going to be the one to propose the next time.
  14. See also what they're doing with Hook, who already had perfectly good closure for his self-loathing and redemption back in 5B.
  15. Seriously. The show just wants to forget that, and the entirety of "The Brothers Jones", ever happened, and wants the audience to forget too.
  16. So we finally get an apology to Snow from Regina...and it's from the split Evil Queen Regina? I guess she's actually the better half! Nope, just the abovementioned apology. To be fair, she did say "We can't keep doing this to each other!" or something like that, so she didn't totally excuse herself for her past behavior.
  17. Very true. All the way through Season 3, there were at least several writers on the team who made the effort to respect the characters despite the gradual turning of them into puppets which had been going on since Season 2. Starting with Season 4, the only writers who seem to occasionally still do this are Jane Espenson and David Goodman, and again - only occasionally. The rest of the time, the characters are just pawns on a chessboard.
  18. What if Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest are somehow merging? That would explain some of the other things happening, like Snow and Charming in their EF outfits filming near the town line, and Rumple possibly going back to his imp form.
  19. Um, the eggnapping was in 4B, not 3B. Snow casting the Dark Curse by crushing Charming's heart was in 3B.
  20. Not quite, A&E delivered their pitch for a S7, with the finale currently being filmed being a part of said pitch. ABC's silence, however, indicates to me that they aren't very big on the idea, and more likely than not to reject it.
  21. Assumption. Jennifer Morrison said just yesterday that there's still no word on a renewal. It's pretty much the Castle situation all over again.
  22. Yeah, I'm expecting a breakup in tonight's episode (6x14), a reconciliation in 6x17 when Hook redeems himself, and the wedding in 6x20. That's just two episodes coming in between each stage, which will feel incredibly rushed and pointless (which it is).
  23. Actually, a lot of people were complaining about the half-season arcs at the time, so it probably seemed like a smart move. It ended up being a case of how you don't know what you've got until it's gone.
  24. And then after 4B, we got outright verbal confirmation of this: "There’s just so many people that it’s like, it’s sometimes hard to do that story and sacrifice Regina’s story. That’s just showbiz."
  25. If there's a second proposal, then I guess it would be Emma making it?
