That was a very watchable and enjoyable episode to watch. -

I agree that the judging and quality of contestants is declining at a rapid rate. -
Co-stars Tia and Tim reportedly dating. Very interesting. http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/entertainment-eonline/20141203/b603101/

This show really has one thing going for it and that is the hotness of Charleston. Other than that the show is a loser.

I had about given up on this show until this episode. For all of you unhappy with the Matt and Daisy relationship, did you ever stop to think the nerd was a very good lover hence the attraction for Daisy. As for Stevie from what I know about the kids her age she's just your average kid who has no idea of the real world and won't until she gets out on her own. Yes the family enables her mindset and most of us wouldn't tolerate her behavior but this is typical of upper class family behavior.

Then you don't have a daughter. I consider myself to be a sane male and if someone abused my daughter I'd try to kick his ass.

When this season started this show I thought had promise with Tia and Tim but it's evolved into another convoluted TV show that makes no sense. The last straw for me was the SOS sharing the information with her daughter. That to me is not something that could happen in the real world or at least to mature sane adults. But it was fun while it lasted.

The Shows of 2014: Because They've Been Pureed in a Blender

Once upon a time this was a great show to watch. Now between the judges and their agendas coupled with the questions to the contestants on why they want/need to win its become to much non cooking to watch. -
I think he played QB for the NE Patriots for a couple of seasons.

The 2014 Thanksgiving show was pretty mundane. I also watched the repeat of the 2013 Thanksgiving show with the judges and found it to be very entertaining. -
I find it strange most commentaries have such a negative spin on Kitty. Having something new on the show to me keeps it fresh. To me adding her to the Homes and Watson relationship adds a high degree of complexity to the show.

This weeks show is on my DVR that I will watch tonight and if the comments on here are even near factual it will be my last show. The one thing I don't understand from the various comments over the short term of this show is why everyone is so down on the kids. The overall show is far fetched and the only breath of sanity about the show is the kids. Those kids are from the real world or at least the ones I'm around.

I'll be the first to admit I haven't been watching this show a lot other than a lot of reruns but this proliferation of questions about "why you want to win and the other dumb ass questions and answers" is getting old quick. I care less about their personal lives. Their ability to cook is all I care about. -
In the beginning this show had the potential to be must see TV but each week its charm continues to erode. I'm going to watch a couple of more shows before I quit.

The one who wanted to be on FN sorta reminded me of that goofy cowboy on Next FN Star. -
I really like all the judges. I think the most interesting aspect is how the show pairs various judges and how the critiques vary depending on the makeup of the judges.
-
In the beginning this was one of my favorite shows currently on TV but the plots and characters have become so convoluted that it's becoming difficult to watch. Yeah I'll keep watching it but the constant multiple crisis every show and the character portrayal has ruined for me what was an top notch TV show.

Special Contestants: All Stars and Firefighters and Lunch Ladies, Oh My!

Enough of the sob stories. -
This has always been a stellar show with remotely believable plot stories of the judicial system, lawsuits etc but the story line that a sitting governor is going to endorse his wife for the State AG is not realistic or at least in my humble opinion.

This has turned out to be a decent show to watch. Not really enamored with the POTUS character or the head of the CIA but the rest of the cast I like. I do like the Tia and Tim characters. As for the kids they seem normal by todays "me" generation, whiney and precocious. I like the Chief of Staff character as he is the slimy person one would expect in this position. As for the SOS reporting to him I don't see that but just someone who has POTUS ear and really likes to screw with the SOS.

I just watched the Halloween show. What a pile of crap. These sob stories are getting old real fast. -

I watched about 10 minutes and decided spending time watching 4 precocious 10-11 years olds cooking was not something I wanted to do. -

I'm a relative newcomer to the FN so my observations come without a lot of FN watching experience. I endured about 4 episodes of the Food Network Star before I got disgusted with the format and the whole contrived show as a whole. So I started watching Chopped and I find the competition something I enjoy. I've recorded all reruns from previous seasons and getting caught up on the whole premise for Chopped. As few observations from a newbie: 1. As mentioned in several critiques here on this forum, I'm not fond of the multi episode specialty shows. They seem more contrived than the normal Chopped shows. 2. Not sure yet what to make of the collection of judges but their opinions to me as a neophyte of the show don't seem consistent. 3. I'm not a foodie so the odd basket ingredients are lost on me as well as all the "hip" names for various preparations of the food. I guess to a foodie it all makes sense. 4. I don't like the sob stories. Last but not least compared to a lot of the other shows on FN I've tried to watch Chopped even with its flaws is the one thing I will watch on a consistent basis. -
Didn't watch the show and have no plans to. From what I'm reading here I didn't miss a thing.

After watching the Scott debacle from last year and the manufactured personality conflicts of this year I'm going to pass. The show was good when it was about tattoos but the move to conflict and constant confrontation is a turnoff. All I need to know about the show I can follow here on this comment forum.
