I liked it when they show vets working one on one or small groups with rookies. It's nice to hear critiques of performances that don't just come from K&J, it helps you appreciate the expertise of the vets, and it's interesting to hear their suggestions. When they show this at all, which isn't that often, it's usually in extras clips; I'd like either more extras clips like that, or even better, put it in the show. I liked that, too, like when Meredith worked with them on the jump split. I was looking for a particular youtube video I saw awhile back ago before I posted because I wanted to include the link, but I couldn't find it. It was a video of Camp DCC, I think. The dcc performed, but the group included some of the TCC's still trying out. While the vets wore their uniforms, the TCC wore the warm up suits. It was Jordan Chanley's rookie year. They performed to Shake It, and then introduced themselves afterwards. I wonder if it was used as a test run for the TCCs. But when I was trying to look for the video, I didn't see any other dcc camp videos that included TCC's. Was it a one time thing? I'm curious if taking them to outings is part of TC. The only other time I've seen them taken out was the episode when they went to see the military personnel off. That would be fun to watch more of the TCCs going out to actual functions if that is part of camp.

There is a book, Boys Will Be Boys, about the off-field antics of the Cowboy players from the '90's team. It paints Jones, although married, as a womanizer. He fooled around a lot. It seems the NY Post has pretty much confirmed it.

@ElectricBoogaloo Thanks for the information! The only dancing spin I really know would be a pirouette (?). I remember Ashton had pretty and long turns. So when I saw Melissa's spin, she was spinning first with her leg in one position, and then she pulled it up to another while continuing her spin. That reminded me of how figure skaters are spinning and then pull their leg up mid spin. It was the first time I've seen something like that on the dance floor. Still, I never understood what the Dcc style of dance was. Is it really that much different from other squads? Sorry, Mod, I don't mean to talk about dance in this thread but since I was still mentioning Melissa, thought I keep this comment here. :)

That spin of Melissa's in the prelim! I'm not a dancer, and I was impressed. It was beautiful! The only time I've seen that type of spin is in figuring skating. I didn't think it would be possible on non-ice.

I can't hold it in any longer, and maybe this should really be posted in the "what to improve about the show" thread. I just watched the promo and I can't stand how they add those cymbal sounds to add flare or drama to something said or a flick of hair. Is it just me? It really grates on my nerves. It was way overused last season, and it seems they will be doing it again this season.

Not only that, but as they are practicing the entrance, some girls just aren't hitting the lines and are getting in trouble for it. Some girls are also not standing out on the field and not dancing well. Then the next thing you know it, K and J announce the team, and those who were on their radar are still there. I'm thinking did I miss something? With the editing, it was very anticlimactic. It seemed to be that way these last 2 seasons.

Oh ok. You mean the one with the sunglasses? It does kind of look like her and I think her arms threw me off thinking she had tattoos. It looks like she drew that on as well as a six-pack.

I noticed Vivian hadn't been posting anything since TC started and assumed they were all banned from posting. Suddenly she started posting again so I was thinking she must've been cut. Last night I saw this photo posted from Jasmine. https://twitter.com/DCC_Jasmine/status/481655288789860352 I don't seem to see Vivian anywhere. If she has been cut, I'm disappointed. I would liked to have seen her make the team.
