I bet a pool is next, that talk is starting as they seem to be pumping Layla all the time - what do you want a Tesla or a pool . . . . Dumb idiots who can't even feed or potty train their kids, with a pool, with a mother having episodes [though maybe that's over if she can drive soon?] . . . . Wonder what year their Tesla is. Assuming it's a 6 seater/SUV - 2023, is like 98-120k. But even just a 2021 drops that back to ~75-80k. I'm not watching the video but I do wonder if it's pre owned bc Whit screamed NEW NEW in her IG MANY times, to let people know it was a 100k Denali not a 50k Denali. If they didn't scream NEW, I wonder . . . . Having worked in these bankruptcy/business/tax spaces for years as a lawyer, I guarantee that C&E and Z&W are writing off $$$ purchases like this as a business expense - no different from business meetings at Ruth Chris or CFA being brought in daily. All of it - the initial purchase + gas for Z&W + a portion of the electric bill for C&E - bc ooohhh we use these cars for work ALL the time, we have to load them up and go to the post office to mail our t shirts you know. And just like that the already anemic revenue of BSB is reduced even further and bam look what we take home is below the poverty line for a family of 4 or 8 in Tenn -- so voila Medicaid, food stamps (I have no doubt they'd use them - these days they look like a credit card so it isn't even super obvious at a grocery store). All I'll say is they may want to look into how the Joe and Teresa Giudice empire on Real Housewives of NJ fell. An IRS agent/his wife used to watch the show for fun. IRS agent thought it was super interesting that people who largely did nothing and/or ran tiny tiny suburban pizza shops were moving into $2 mil mansions, and buying 20k of furniture pulling out wads of cash to pay. To add to the suspicion there was another dad on the show talking to his 17 yr old son about what he wants to do - college, business etc. - and son goes - a business, you don't have to worry about working for anyone or taxes. While that father doth protested really hard on camera about how in his family businesses are run on the up and up, it def set the tone re these peoples view of taxes/finances. Cue indictment. And all of this was in 2009 - BEFORE you HAD to show your Tesla, 10k sofa, 8k stove etc. on social media to earn a living. Tubi has some episodes of the unaired season up and having watched just half of them it's amazing how jealous/competitive C&E are. They go to Trav's parents' house for Katie's bridal shower and Carlin announces how the Clarks have been "introducing Katie to their LIFESTYLE - they're showing the sisters what all we need for our houses." WTF!?! Yeah they have a nice house and threw your sister a classy party not catered by Chick Fil A - unlike G&K. Yet the gifts were normal things like comforters and ironing boards, and they weren't exactly scoffing - oh you don't drink out of diamond encrusted glasses, poor you. Similarly they show up at K&T's house under construction and Carlin says to Evan - we need a house and Evan announces to Trav IN FRONT OF Trav's parents - you aren't even married and you already have a house!? It screamed JEALOUS. Similarly Carlin tags along when Law is getting Tiff's ring and goes ON AND ON about how it's SOOOO big and you can totally tell she's jealous that Law is getting her a 1.7 carat ring and at one point screams - are you made of money!?! Whit - while she obv likes the nicer things at least has some manners. She acted perfectly appropriate at Trav's parents' house and with Law ring's she just said it was beautiful and very impressive; and then in the interview when Z&W are talking about the ring, she again says she's impressed and as Z is saying he sold his truck back when he bought W's ring - she very appropriately says - I love my ring, I'd never want another ring. Carlin would probably be like - babe how about an upgrade on my ring??

Watched the first two episodes. Carlin and Kelly were BESIDE themselves that Law was buying a 1.7 carat ring to propose to Tiff with. You could tell both thought it was too much though they didn't say it. Carlin goes on about how Tiff is such a small girl [uh so what - it's not like a 200 pound ring?] how would she manage such a big ring. And at one point she turns to Law and squeals - are you made of money?? She acted totally jealous, as Law matter of factly was like - no I am not made of money. Gotta give it to Law he is good at saving money, probably because he has been doing it since he was a 14 yr old paying for his family's groceries. Imagine the life he could have if he actually worked and brought home regular pay checks every 2 weeks. In a different life, he'd be middle management someplace with a sizeable 401k. Whit was at least nice about the ring and was like I'm impressed and Z said the same. Z&W had the kids praying for a farm 🙄. IDK maybe the kids decided to pray on their own for a farm or it was Whit putting in their heads bc Z told them "well you don't know the market that God and I are dealing with so keep praying . . . " But then of course Z has to say God showed him up and blessed them with a 17 acre farm. 🙄 On camera Law and Tiff's relationship doesn't look passionate but honestly it doesn't look as disinterested as it does now via social media. It strikes me a lot like how Brandon was. Law likes her, makes the right overtures of having his arm around her, being romantic, saying nice things to her all the time (more than Brandon did as they were courting traditionally), and likes her parents and fits in with them nicely. Feels like he picked her because the life situation/family worked for him more than because he was smitten with HER. Honestly their lives would be much better if he just moved to SD and was around her family. He likes them and they accept him - far far more than the Bates accept Tiff. Yeah SD is expensive so he'd have to work but overall I think they'd be happier. Wow Z was really starting to pack on the pounds - by the time this season filmed he had left the police force. And Carlin's mental health was SOOOO much better then than now. She was pregnant with Zade while filming this season but not showing yet. IDK why they rushed to have #2 though, she clearly was not ready mentally. She says how motherhood is soooo wonderful blah blah "but that's because I have 1 child, now pregnant with #2, it's scary." Josie 100% is not into having kids. Yes she loves her existing kids but she goes on about how going from 1 to 2 babies has been such a huge jump, it'll be a while before she goes for #3 or #4. But she's was convincing exactly no one as she went on about trying to enjoy the process, enjoy this season blah blah. Tori and Bobby seem built to be parents. She had just had Charlotte who was a few months old and she - with no resentment says - she used to wake up and have coffee first thing and now she wakes up, does everything for the kids until their nap time and THEN has her coffee.

Well they got a child with a penis. It’s been fun girls but we’re done with you - got our boy . . . . Didn’t watch it but per Reddit Erin says something right there at the reveal to Brookie re taking care of a boy . . . not that Brookie isn’t used to being disfavored anyway being born right after Prince Carson.

It's a low bar considering we're comparing to Carlin/Evan, but it is impressive how much Katie has grown up in the last year and a half. Posted after a drs appt and basically the dr is so booked that the first available appt to blast out the kidney stone is Oct 5. Katie's bday. And like a grown up, she took the appt. When she zoomed in on her face, for a milli-second, she looked like a typical Bates girl who was gonna cry MY BIRTHDAY . . . . But then she was like, that's what they had so I took it, as Trav jokingly sang happy bday in the background. Though per the dr, she thinks it won't go that long - she'll either pass it on her own or end up having to go back to the ER and it'll be done emergently. But look at her being a responsible grown up - when she's told, look we're booking 4 mos out and you should take the appt just in case you need it, she takes it. And then as they're getting ready to leave the parking lot, Katie is like - time to get home so Haley can nap. How responsible . . . rather than riding all over town after the dr appt while H sleeps in her car seat. Meanwhile Carlin and the EEG that she was told to schedule about a yr ago - they're always soooo beside themselves that it schedules 3-4 mos out, that they don't schedule. And then when they re-visit the issue 4 months later, they're told uh it'll be 4 months from NOW. Rinse and repeat. Though they always act annoyed that the dr isn't pulling strings to get them in ASAP, so whatever if the dr isn't pulling strings, then it's not really necessary.

Also what are both sides here? Doesn't SHP cover a lot of abuse that happens in this cult? Sure sometimes it's as wide open as Josh's issues, but lots of time it's the "usual" child abuse to train kids, non stop emotional abuse towards the daughters etc. Is there a good side here?

FWIW I guess the YT video had a clip of the reveal - bc some Redditer claims that the look on Carson’s face suggests a penis has been spotted. No clue if this is true/false. And fear not Brookie is coming along well on her sister mom role - on the same YT video they say she’s become a little mother and is now asking to learn how to cook 🙄.

As much as I snark on these people, I do think Alyssa loves her grandparents deeply and no I don't think they visited just bc they needed something for YT. Alyssa isn't Carlin, Katie, or Josie, she doesn't make much on social media to begin with, and she lives on a much tighter budget - we all know she/John don't do many activities/vacations. So I think they chose to spend gas money going to SC because they wanted to, not bc it was somehow better for YT. I mean she married on her grandparents' anniversary AND celebrated them at her reception. May sound like NBD but growing up in a family where the ONLY time anyone pays attention to you is on your wedding day, I could def see a certain type of bride (ahem Carlin, Josie, Katie) being like - nope this is MY day, I'll wish my grandparents a happy anniversary when I see them, but we're not celebrating them at MY wedding. She always wishes her grandparents a happy anniversary, she visits them regularly, and she named her first kid Allie JANE. It seems like Alyssa, Zach, and Erin really take the time to visit their grandparents a few times a year. Also seems like Law and Michaela and Nathan are somewhat close to them too and visit, albeit not as regularly. Whereas most of the rest of the kids visit when the Bates horde is down there to party party and some like Josie don't even visit then. Interesting that the kids closest to the grandparents are the 6 oldest kids. You have to wonder if Mama Jane was somehow a respite/safe place for these kids. While mom kept popping out kid after kid, ignoring them more and more, maybe they really looked forward to Mama Jane/Papa Bill's attention a few times/yr. I imagine Alyssa and Michael cherished being someplace where THEY could be kids for a week - not cooking and cleaning like at their own homes. We all know how much Alyssa loves how Mama Jane lives, how orderly and structured her home/life is. Whit has said before that Zach really looks up to Papa Bill and always says - what would Papa Bill think about what I'm doing; so chances are Papa Bill sat and talked to Z and didn't just blow him off like Gil who had too many kids to pay attention to. I can imagine Alyssa is saddened seeing them now, just how aged/unhealthy they seem. Even a yr or two ago on the show, Gil had said his father was having health problems. But he still looked good then, and Jane was her feisty self. Since then they both seem to have deteriorated and aged.

Something is mentally wrong with this chick. She walked out of the drs office GIDDY that the toe is healing slightly incorrectly and if it bothers her then the dr has to reset it. I mean you could almost hear the conversation that's going to happen between C&E - well is it REALLY bothering you, how much, maybe we get a follow up appt just to discuss it and film it of course . . . . I realize she grew up without parental attention blah blah, but you've supposedly been the apple of Evan's eye since fall 2016 between that and your adoring leghumpers - is that STILL not enough attention for you? Her FOMO has to be killing her right now with all her sisters' vacations and poor her stuck "working" -- you know going in EVERY day this week for prob 2 hrs a day, OF COURSE they deserve a pool day at creepy pastor's house. At some level she has to be pissed/mystified that bestie Whit does NOT invite her on vacation. You know if Z&W invited, these two would be there with bells on. But Whit - after her initial phase of dumping her kids to act like a college kid out to dinner and midnight ice cream runs with C&E all the time - appears to have pulled away from C&E HARD. Sure they "work" together but after that, seems like Whit 100% wants to be with Zach and her kids WITHOUT C&E. And with Whit it doesn't seem like she's convincing herself that "these are the best days" when she's with her kids, the way Carlin has to while posting videos with requisite sappy music re how much she'll miss this. I mean Z&W's vacation to SC has been entirely kid centric - up early w/ the kids and at the beach at 7-8 am; then lunch on the boardwalk; back to the hotel for naps/playing in the pool; and then dinner and walking around the beach in the evening. You know woohoooo Carlin and Evan would be like back to the hotel for naps -- nooooo; back to the hotel after dinner -- nooooo we need to party party, screw the 7 kids in tow.

They've def taken the criticism to heart that we view them as lazy asses who don't roll out of bed until 10 am bc BAM - cue IG video driving to work at 6:35 am and they're soooo tired that they're just holding hands and not even talking to each other. Oh booohoooo. None of us have ever gotten up at 6 am and gotten ourselves out the door. Oh wait the rest of us do it day after day for YEARS - it was called high school; it's called having a job. But kudos Carlin & Evan for doing it ONCE to show us. But fear not, they made it to First Watch. They didn't note the time on that but my guess is this was a - show everyone we are going to work sooo early and by 9-10 am, let's bounce and get breakfast but don't post anything until late in the day so people think we worked ALL day. I highly doubt they're eating breakfast food and Evan is drinking a giant coffee at 3-4 pm. And C&E we realize First Watch is a breakfast place that closes by 2 pm, so you're not tricking anyone that you worked ALL day. They've really been trying to show us and probably Z&W that they're working HARD. Yet Monday was - eh we're gonna use the 2nd part of our day to go shopping bc Carlin NEEDS a new phone. Yesterday was lab work and whatever else and today - out to breakfast. C&E - I don't think Z&W are buying your work ethic either. I'm guessing they're going to be sooooo stressed after working ALL week, they they'll be running off to Nashville for some R&R by this weekend - w the weekend then stretching to like next Thursday. And am I the only one that thinks that they'd be 1000% on board to show Carlin lying there all draped at the gyno . . . I mean think of the YT hits . . . it's likely that they need to prove they're sooooo modest, esp since their only friend appears to be the creepy pastor and his wife, that prevents them from doing this. EDITED - WOW a full day, a drs appt for her toe. Yep she's complaining about getting up while it was still dark out, but fear not she's doing it so she can go to the pool later this wk (uh you hardly work why wait - just go during work hours)?? And why are these girls all so effing dirty. She takes off that black boot, you can SEE the dirt on the bottom of it, sticks it right on the exam table. Like in what universe do you not put shoes ON THE GROUND. IDK where they go but the place also doesn't use that tissue paper on the exam tables - hope they Lysol off the table before the next person has to lie down on it right where Carlin's shoe was after walking the aisles of Target and walking her damn dog.

She's 22-23. Wouldn't be shocked if she uber-ed to CT. Having lived in NYC, driving out of LGA on those highways in Queens all the way to CT is no joke. Yeah she's more capable than her sisters, but I don't think she's THAT worldly either. She probably took Uber or someone picked her up. Yesterday she had a video of driving out of LGA - she took it down though. I have to imagine she flew to LGA rather than Bradley bc going from a small airport in Knox to small Bradley airport has got to be exorbitant prices. In a different family and in a different marriage Josie - and likely Alyssa - would have been different people. They seem like the type who'd go to a 4 yr college, live in dorms and be independent, have a real corporate career, maybe a grad degree, take the type of job where they were running business meetings on something other than hair and nails. And putting off child bearing until their 30s and then having 2 kids max. Both of them do NOT seem like they love kids and mommy life that much. Alyssa really acts like she doesn't even love her existing kids except the one with the penis. Josie does seem like she loves her kids but also seems like she'd be 100% happy without kids; she runs herself ragged trying to have some life apart from her kids within the confines of what her headship allows. I think Josie also understands that if she were to make a HUGE deal about OMG it's soooo hard to travel to NYC with 2 kids, OMG it is such a big airport, soooo much traffic, her jailer will be quick to be like - fine you're not going, in fact you don't need to do this makeup/hair business anymore, I make plenty of money, start raising my kids and cooking. He's not Evan who is gonna be like hmmm I'd LOVE to quit my job and follow you around.

What friends does Josie have in Connecticut? There aren’t tons of fundies or evangelical Christians up there, though I guess Nathan did date an NYC evangelical for a while so they exist everywhere. She has a posted up about leaving Knox at 4 am with both girls but without Kelton to fly to NYC and drive an hr and a half to Connecticut. Maybe there’s a sweet fangirl up there buying a lot of barrettes who said visit anytime.

Yep I'm a freaking lawyer with all the required higher degrees and a decade+ of experience and I use JUST an SE. Of course I don't need to prove my wealth to anyone, nor do I make my money by showing my IG followers that they must follow me bc I have a certain "lifestyle" they must envy. Seriously what pre teen girl would rather have Carlin/Whit rather than Taylor Swift tix?? But reality is if you don't already have Taylor tix, even the very worst seats are going for $700-800 in most cities now. A 26 hr round trip will still cost less than that even assuming you grab a room at a roadside Hampton Inn. Plus I have to imagine this girl is very conservative christian - to people like that Taylor Swift singing about heart break and mentioning Pride from the stage is the devil, while Carlin/Evan and Zach/Whit are #couplesgoals. Honestly @BitterApple they strike me like certain retirees I know. They are so so bored with life that they gin up an errand daily. Normal working people don't have 40 hrs/wk for errands, so they keep an inventory of what they use/need and do a weekly or biweekly grocery shopping/running of errands/ordering things they use. OTOH we've seen these idiots go to CVS to pick up toothpaste and diapers (at top $ I might add for anyone who has every shopped at CVS - but hey they're RICH). Uh hello most adults running their own household with the financial means keep an extra few toothpastes, shampoos, soaps in the house so they aren't running to the store the day they run out. And IDK any parents who don't stash away some diapers so they aren't down to the last one. They live like they're in a dorm or bachelor pad away from mommy from the first time. And then while they're at CVS or Walmart or evil Target - oh Evan wants this energy drink, Carlin wants a candy bar, let's get Layla some chips too, this t shirt is cute, then lets stop at Sbux or CFA on the way home. It's like an activity for these people . . . . Just to be clear - I'm not blaming or mocking retirees in any way. Many are too aged to work and there's some real loneliness sometimes or sometimes they can't handle the exertion of doing 4 errands in one outing, so 1 errand per day may be necessary for them. But a 25 and 28 yr old?? Come on - they have too much time on their hands.

Lol and it took about 2 seconds on IG to figure out that that girl who came 13 hrs just graduated 8th grade. So clearly she's some fan girl who begged mommy and daddy that all she wanted for her graduation present was a road trip to meet the Bates.🙄Great for her and this stuff flatters the hell out of the Bates but give me an effing break. No business is sustainable in the long run bc you have 8th grade fan girls who come to your sale once and then save up their bday money to buy themselves an item from your website and then beg mommy and daddy for a Christmas present from BSB. And we can see that the business isn't sustainable long term just looking at the inventory stacked to the ceiling. They were REALLY quiet about this sale too. Usually there's TONS of pics showing packed crowds and LOTS of talk re how busy they were and this time - nada. There was one pic at the opening showing a line outside, but obviously those were the leghumpers who had to arrive before the opening and line up. And even still while they took the pic to make it look like the line was never ending, it was 40-50 people max and in groups - meaning not every preteen who was dragged along to this bc mom wanted to go necessarily bought anything. But fear not, while there is some $ SPEND SPEND SPEND. Z&W got a 100k SUV so obviously C&E now have to buy SOMETHING. Cue IG from today going on about how Carlin cracked her phone screen and it messed up the camera [the horrors . . . for someone who makes a living on pics and videos] so they can't fix it, so aw shucks gotta get a new one. I mean it's no 100k SUV but they're not poor, they're gonna spend 1k on a phone. No way is Carlin going with the cheapest $400-500 iPhone SE, hell no, SHE'S RICH.

@BitterApple - hahah I didn't even get half way thru her IG explanation re the car, I just saw the IG post. So I didn't hear the God is good stuff. Yep God must really hate all the families that are relying on food banks right now but he LOVES y'all best since he gave you a 100k SUV. It's the same way all these morons have their kids pray for a brother. Z&W did so last time, as did Chad/Erin. Z&W got a boy, C&E did not. I hope Z&W were sure to let their kids know that it's bc God loves them way more than he loves Carson and Brookie. 🙄 As for both kids asking to do soccer and Z calling around to find teams, that doesn't surprise me as Whit was raised normal Christian and Z has said more than once that his parents were full of $hit. Don't get me wrong - I DO think they have a preference for Bradley over Kasie; W gushes about him in a way that she doesn't about her daughter and Z pals around with him while we've never seen him do that with his girls. But I think it's the "normal" preference - albeit gross - many American couples (and worldwide) have for SONS. It doesn't go so far as a Chad/Erin preference for sons to where Carson is getting to go on a trip to Ca, stay in a hotel, etc. while his almost same age sister has to stay home and let's be real Chad is probably showing her pics of her brother chowing down on ice cream at the airport, going to the beach with mom and 100% expecting her to be happy or screaming at her that she's EVIL and needs to PRAY if she expresses the slightest bit of envy or sadness. Nor do I see Z as a John Webster type where a child born with a penis gets a baseball bat/glove for his newborn pics, whereas the child he's known for 8 yrs can't participate in an activity bc - no penis. IDK offhand how old Bradley/Kacie are, but at younger ages town soccer teams are often co-ed with coaches under strict rules that a game is forfeited if equal numbers of boys and girls don't get to play - to avoid the situation where only boys play and girls are expected to cheer them along. So yeah good for Z&W looking into soccer for both, rather than having Kacie seeing girls playing on a co-ed team or girls playing on a girls team one field over and wondering why she can't.

Zach’s 30th bday present to Whit is a 2023 (ie brand new) Yukon Denali Ultimate. For those who aren’t car people, that’s 93k for the basic model with no options added in. I’m calling it now - there’s some very creative accounting happening at that store. Having worked with small retail overloaded with cheap inventory, they just don’t generate that kind of $ and this isn’t exactly NYC or LA where they have a B/C list celebrity crowd paying $200 per t shirt. Cue C&E’s jealousy and FOMO. I’m guessing they’re on the phone with the Tesla dealership right now, as Z&W have bought 2 fancy cars this year and C&E are driving some pre owned from Duggar Inc. Though I guess to give Z&W the benefit of the doubt, he could be picking up way more police shifts that they’d ever let on/admit to. They have said before he does that - esp when they were burning thru $ with $10,000 stoves in their new house - yet W just back of the hand it to make it sound like it was a few shifts a yr. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a handful of shifts w week esp if time and a half is in play.

Pretty quiet BSB Saturday. By now don't we usually have crowd pics and pics of douchebag Evan screaming LET'S GOOOOOOO. They have 1 pic on their BSB IG that shows the line to enter and while they try to make it look super long, it looks like 40-50 people. And interesting in the one pic of Carlin with Kelly, there's exactly 1 shopper in the background, not hordes. Is the leghumpers' disposable income drying up? Do they have their own lives and summer plans?

I thought the same when I saw it - Katie only going to lunch and coming back so her child could nap? In a crib?? Shocking. I called it when they were still in the hospital with Hailey - that C&E were losing their party party couple who was gonna put their daughter first and not let her sleep on the cold cement floor of a store or the grimy floors of Gil/Kelly's house like C&E did so many times just so they could stay and party party. I imagine Hailey will go to the family school and they will very much be on a school schedule. Trav's brother's wife even teaches K or preK or something at that school, so it'd be interesting if the family had a school and their own kids were like nope we'll still keep our kids in homeschool while gladly taking a monthly profit share from the school. I still can't get over these peoples' FOMO. The fam went on a nothing trip to Ocean City 45 min away. You really couldn't miss out?? You can go next month by yourselves or even gather a few siblings or whoever to go.

THIS. Travis has one kid + no job. If he can't figure out how to handle that if his wife were to need medical care without his mommy stepping in, well maybe they made a baby too fast. I mean in that case wouldn't the husband just drop the wife off at the door of the medical center and let her handle that while he stayed with the child and/or calling their laundry list of sweet church friends to babysit? And then once he found a sweet friend to take their kid, he could go join his wife? I mean if they didn't want to go, they could even have lined up a sweet friend or two to be "on call" for the next week - just in case they need to drop off the baby and get Katie someplace. But fear not she got advice from her IG leghumpers so she's consuming a lot of lemon and cranberry and then if this doesn't resolve in a week she needs to go back in . . . so hey might as well kill that week on the beach. At least he/his parents aren't dumb - unlike her parents and many of her BILs - if they see a problem developing, I feel like they'll be telling Trav he needs to take her to get care while they keep the baby. They didn't say. She just said the beach. So if it's Delaware beaches, they aren't far from home/drs. If it's North Carolina or something then yeah they are far and are basically leaning on island medical care. EDITED: they tagged a taco shop in Ocean City NJ - so looks like they're 45 min from home. Not a big vacation even though yeah most people would prefer to be in their own home without people everywhere.

Made it to vacation . . . of course. These peoples' FOMO is insane. Couldn't possibly miss one beach trip when we are perpetually not working and on vacation and could go next month. Much better to be far from medical care/have vacation town medical care should the need arise.

Just seeing him decked out in Braves gear etc - seemed very much the star of the show rather than eh we had to bring the kid bc he’s on the boob which is how they treated their daughters. Though isn’t Alyssa the one who has shown a freezer STOCKED with breast milk to the point she has no more room? If that’s the case couldn’t he have stayed home w grandma Webster for 2-3 nights? Though maybe it just doesn’t work like that IDK.

Well good for Alyssa: "Had the best little getaway for our 9th anniversary *with the baby boy* 🩵 We got to go to a Braves baseball game, explored midtown atlanta, stopped at the varsity and then drove to South Carolina to spend some time with my grandparents. It was everything my heart needed and then some! Right?? Though she was polishing off a corn dog in the car last week before the kids' drs appointments. She also had a pregnancy and post partum fueled by corn dogs - for the second pregnancy. I think with that pregnancy the dr said something about nutrition because then she'd show herself eating a turkey sandwich once in a while to show how healthy she was being, as if she made a 5 course home cooked dinner. I mean yeah better than Sonic corn dogs bc you at least get a bit of lettuce and tomato, but since when is processed deli meat SOOOO good for you that it counts as a healthy meal?? But then again this is the couple that was snarking and being passive aggressive about the cardiologist not doing enough testing, while showing up at at the cardiologist's office multiple times with Starbucks. Because you know caffeine is great before an EKG. I get it they're 25 and 28, not at the ages where you worry about what you eat. But those are definitely ages where people realize you don't NEED candy, soda, ice cream, or fast food ALL the time. The novelty of being able to buy whatever you want totally wears off - and then you do occasionally grab a peach as a snack or breakfast rather than candy.

Regardless of which denominations eat in church and which don't, why the hell do these people eat like 15 year olds left home alone by their parents?? Yes the snacks were for her bc she was prattling on and on about how she doesn't need a purse because HER man carries her stuff; and even Evan pulled out the Butterfingers, Reeses, Twizzlers, whatever else and was like - are we going to church or a movie theater? I mean they've been bunking with MIL since mid last week, and you know there was some breakfast for all before church. I'm sure Carlin was preening the mirror or hocking some beauty product so she didn't have time to eat. Fine - wouldn't most normal adults just grab whatever kind of eggs MIL made and put them between 2 slices of bread; or if no eggs - 2 slices of toast and eat in the car? Or an apple, banana, or granola bar? But nope let's start our morning with candy. I realize she grew up deprived of treats blah blah, but honestly most people move out of their parents' home at 18 and yeah you do tend to buy candy at the check out counter or grab dessert with every meal at the college cafeteria - bc you can, bc mom isn't there to say no or raise an eyebrow. And then in 3 months it clicks, that just because you CAN eat ice cream with every meal doesn't mean you NEED to. It's been 4 years of marriage, has she not figured this out??

Oh he wanted to join the military but then he broke his collar bone skiing so he didn't even know if he could join and when he called up the recruiter to ask, the recruiter didn't get back to him for A YEAR and in that time he had meet Em (? what's his fiance's name)?? Uh buddy - you turned 18 in Feb 2020. YOUR parents chose to convince you Alert was better, so off you went in March 2020. Your ski injury wasn't until Feb 2021 - age 19, you would already have been in the military for a year if you had normal parents, and let's be real likely not on a family ski trip bc privates in the Army don't run on vacation with mommy and daddy and siblings every month. And Em had nothing to do with it bc you didn't meet her until Feb/Mar 2022. No one in America believes that you placed a call to a military recruiter in Feb 2021 and he didn't respond until March 2022. Sometimes you see something real in them. When Trace tried to make the Crown basketball team and didn't and then decided to work out with college friends who played on the team to see if he could give himself a shot next semester, it was just sad and HE was sad. As his friends were having him run drills and it was clear he didn't know how, you saw a moment of "real" as he said - "other guys start doing in 4th grade, I'm 18-19 and don't even know what to do." Of course he didn't - Gil wasn't going to pay even $50/yr for his sons to pay even one semester of community sports per year. They tried to "remedy" this with Trace's younger bros by letting them play some organized basketball to get some coaching, and even still it was like 2 weeks of church run basketball camps for a yr or two. Hardly the same coaching some receives playing sports from age 5 through high school. About Rhett I've always said - since they won't let Allie dance, let him be the boy that wants to dance and can't throw/catch a ball to save his life. Of course they'll say no, but let him just be the kid that prances in his room when he thinks no one is watching - enough that A&J lay awake at night and worry. Sure they'll just be like so what we have questionable sexual orientations in our cult, we'll make him marry and make a baby young and that'll "prove" he's straight.
