Now, Plath kids being who they are, it’s not likely Ethan, a minor at the time, would open a card on his own…it sounded like Kim made Ethan part of her downline and he got money, which is why Mo-Riah and Micah don’t see it as a big deal. When Ethan married Olivia, she found out about the card. Ethan told Olivia he couldn’t access the account and Olivia cut off Kim’s access. Olivia didn’t say Kim was stealing that I recall, but she didn’t think it was right for Ethan not to have access to his own card. FFWD and Moriah makes some statement on soshuls about how she now sides with her mom (because she can’t adult and deal with conflict directly) and Micah seems to be of the same mind so Olivia is now persona non grata also partly due to Olivia and her boundaries with Kim and Barry and making Moriah feel as though she had to choose. Again, I know a lot of these religious types rely heavily on MLMs as a source of income, so maybe not a big deal in their world, however, it’s a bigger deal for people who live in the world of credit to be opening accounts in the names of your children…
