I thought this week was the finale for some reason so was expecting some kind of tragic end. oh Mikey.... you look like Prince Harry when you are in the tent with the night camera's so you have that, maybe that is worth something???? They keep fore shadowing Mikey not making it and Wyatt as home free so either it will be opposite or Alan will come up the middle. I like Alan but I just don't think he can take the cold. I think he may as well eat as much fish as he can now and hope for the best. When he caught the gnarly fish I said "just boil the hell out of it" about 1 minute before he did. I like Wyatt. he's not someone who owns a survival school or teaches bushcraft, he is just a guy who grew up in the boreal forest and is using his skills. I don't mind if he wins. I am going to be around the area where Wyatt is from for the next couple weeks so if I see him driving around in a fancy new truck then I will know that he won!! Probably Mikey will start a go fund me when this is over, I don't think he will win it . He might beat out Alan because Alan isn't going to risk his health if he gets too cold but I don't think Mikey can beat Wyatt unless something tragic happens to Wyatt

Alan and Wyatt. I think Wyatt's Canadian accent is more pronounced. Wyatt has a totally hoser accent. As a Canadian I have never heard another Canadian say "oot" as in rhyming with boot. In previous seasons there have been more rabbits in the area, doesn't seem the case in this location (has anyone even got a rabbit this year). However this seems to be the most fish I have seen people catch and big ones too (except Melanie). In the long run, fish is the best food because of the fat, and really not that labour intensive if you have a gill net.

I wonder how Melanie feels watching the show and seeing all the others catch giant fish, If Alan goes home with all that stored fish I will be so pissed, I'm glad he did feast for his birthday. The scenes they show are aurora, probably shot on location or could be stock photos to look nice.

Those are the small "life jackets " that they wear if out on the water, Technically they are not "life" jackets because they wont roll you over if you are passed out face forward in the water, that is why they call then PFD"s. Maybe they don' want to be responsible if the contestant gets so skinny and it slips of their finger and gets lost. Or maybe the don't want the contestant using the ring to drill holes in the rocks LOL! It wasn't quite a full vest, if watch you can see Taz put it on. They make them quite small now I think to encourage fisherman etc to actually WEAR them. They might inflate more if you pull a string I think. I liked Taz, his shelter, boat and ukelele was amazing. He was carrying a little woven basket as he left that looked great. He had good skills. I think he was a bit out of his league in that climate and environment. Ya I can't remember if snaring martens is illegal or if Alan just thought it was unethical. I don't think a marten would be very good eating anyways. I hope Melanie is the next to go. If Mikey keeps calling mice "rats", I am going to call him Shrek. He doesn't look to me like he has lost much weight compared to others, did he come in the heaviest? He probably has the most desperate need to win, I'm Ok with any of the 3 guys, don't care for Melanie anymore. I guess she didn't care about her "secret" tape being shown when she ended up crying on camera on anyways.

How did the coat check room have space for it? It did make quite scene but come on, who walks around in a snow storm dressed like either of those 3 women, who were apparently the only 3 women out on the street. And Steve comes in from the storm, only wearing hiking boots, which he does not take off, and even lays on the bed still wearing them!! I live in Toronto, have walked snow storms, its not like that. The episode was way to plot pointy for me: bomb cyclone so we could have the wild fashion, Carrie needing Che's support so Che could hear the speech and come to a realization, Miranda upset so has to go to Steve's room and then finds the condom. blech And are they really using a body double for the "from the back ' shots of KD? Someone mentioned it last week and I hadn't noticed but this week certainly there was some weird shots in the convo between Charlotte and Lily. So weird. Funniest parts were Harry and Kerry.

Its not that I can't eat low cal, actually I find fasting not hard. And generally I probably don't eat more then 1500 cal per day, I just don't think about it. Its psychological. If I had 1 fish (2 fillets) , I couldn't save one for tomorrow, I couldn't do it. It would be easier for me to eat my food as I got it and then fast the next day if I had too. That would be my strategy.

I don't know if I would bother caching and restricting food, I think I would just eat it as I got it to keep my strength and weight up as you never know what is going to happen the next day. I say this as a person who can't diet, example if I am limited to 1000 calories a day, I would eat that all by 7am !!! Just eat your fish, keep strong to go out and fish again another day. Unless you get a moose or something that you have no choice, you couldn't eat that all at once. hmmm is not reporting a wound against the rules? I think other contestants have self treated wounds with forest remedies before IIRC. I just won't like it if Wyatt does win but he is DQ'd for breaking the rules. I don't like Melanie anymore, I like Taz but he has had a lot of bad luck/bad decisions. Between Mikey, Wyatt and Alan , I don't know who to choose. I don't know if Mikey will be able to handle the cold. Mikey is very creative, that top was great. You would have to carve it perfectly balanced to get it to spin like that.

I came to ask the same question. The focus group was harsh but not untrue, it looked like the worst kind of sitcom.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks she wanted the video to be aired. It is a good way to make sure you get screen time. Either she is being sneaky or manipulative, neither I enjoy. I prefer authentic hoser Wyatt 😜

They do all their videos on SD cards so she planned to hide this one and just give it to her husband but the rules state that they have to turn in all the SD cards. Which is why I call BS on it. I'm sure she knew ALL the rules and her speech was just a little to choreographed and convenient for me "I can't show weakness to the camera etc etc". I am cynical I guess but I think she knew exactly what would go down when she made that video.

I checked in, I can't believe they still have scripts written to keep going. But I guess now with the actors strike that will stop all filming. All though, according to Mr Blackie the actor's strike shouldn't have an impact on GH, esp Sonny 😜

wow @AZChristian thanks for writing that all out when I just could have gone back and rewatched it with closed caps. I was just kind of surprised they let that go with such bad audio, I think his mike was under his hoody. Usually they put subtitles when there is bad audio. Also I forgot to mention that Mickey's letter was a beautiful momento, good for him.

yes I call BS on Melanie"s secret recording, just like I called BS on Cade loosing his quiver and arrows. Bobby Hull spent his whole off seasons chopping wood, that is how he stayed in shape, so Wyatt was on to something there with his kid lol! BTW Wyatt really starting to look like a caveman. The last scenes with Alan I could barely hear what he was saying, I wish they would have put subtitles. Like Mikey said, some is luck but it does require a lot of time, patience and perseverance so maybe some are lacking in that.

It just seems to be my new Samsung phone, my old Samsung (which I had for over 7 years!! )was not a problem. This all seemed very realistic to me as well as randomly video calling people. Believe me my son just shakes his head at me.

In Miranda's defense, I totally miss calls all the time on my new android phone, and have done many "butt dial video calls" (when Miranda picked her phone out of her pants, Brady was saying "mom why did you face time me). Last week I was at a boring ball game and I leaned on my purse and all of a sudden all this noise was happening, then I realized it was coming out of my purse. I had dialed 911 some how!!! So I can relate to Miranda there. Also for on hot second I thought about getting a tattoo, I told one friend and she said exactly what Carrie said "everyone is getting them removed".

It just occurred to me this is probably why he had to tap out. If you fill your fart sack with liquid diarrhea ..... there is no recovering from that,
