  1. Laurel makes a good point. She won't win but it's true.
  2. Oh, Kellyn talked and I'm doubling down on my position of 'this F3 could have been SO MUCH WORSE GUYS'.
  3. I've quite enjoyed it. And this is a decent F3 (Laurel is useless as a player but fine as a person, which puts her above so many F3 people over the years) - it could have been so, so much worse.
  4. I thought I didn't care but I really want Wendell to win. I think he has the edge but I'm nervous.
  5. I could be wrong but Angela's entire edit pretty much gives this away.
  6. I don't buy it. A Laurel-Angela-ANYONE F3 would be a boring bust.
  7. Is he *that* convinced he loses to Wendell? From a viewer perspective, it's 50-50 but the editing this season has been pretty crappy so maybe he is?
  8. This... doesn't actually mean anything. Ha. Hahahahahahahahaha. Ha. Not happening, but ha.
  9. There's still a Ghost Island visit, yeah? They said there was one this episode - or did it happen and I missed it?
  10. These challenges are always nerve-wracking to watch.
  11. No. Last idol play was at F5 and he played it for Laurel. Is Angela the most invisible F4 member ever?
  12. They are getting a bit cocky, but it's still preferable to the way this season could have gone. Imagine Kellyn and Bradley up there...
  13. I know this is kinda too easy but I'm Team Wendell so yay.
  14. I don't know. Sebastian seemed mostly impressed - if he's got sway at ponderosa I think Dom could do ok.
  15. So did Sebastian not play his advantage? I'm confused.
  16. Dom would have had to check on the rules about when Jeff verifies idols before doing that, right?
  17. Angela might be figuring that eventually it'll be Dom v Wendell and being tight with them is a way to squeak through to F3. Laurel and Donathan are still relatively tight. She's not in anything else - essentially she's a number. Telling Dom is an opportunity, as much as it's infuriating for anyone not on Team Dom/Wendell.
  18. I feel like 'we can put votes on Dom and cross our fingers' is... kind of foolish. Also Laurel if you are going to make a move against two people who have immunity and two idols between them you need to... not make it so obvious. ETA. When did Angela become part of Dom and Wendell's crew? Those two have EVERYONE.
  19. No matter how pissed Laurel is I still don't believe she's going to make a move. Wendell's now certain for F4 (immunity this IC, idol for the next), right?
  20. I think F5 is the last one for idols? I like Wendell's strategy with the puzzle - wouldn't have thought it would work.

    Fix The Show

I agree with 1 - and yes, they should have to play. It makes sending an ally more of a risk. The problem then becomes that you have even more potential advantages in the game, which could be countered by making them time-limited. I can't even remember - have they done that this season? Last season there were a few advantages that were like 'you can play this at the next TC only' but I feel like other than the legacy advantage being limited to F13 or F6(?) that hasn't come up this season. Definitely 2, although I think this might just be time. We already have a RC and a IC in each episode, I guess keeping it a simple game means they're not jamming another mini-challenge in there (and they're not potentially replacing the RC, which was one of the worst aspects of Redemption Island). But it could definitely be more than just 'pick a box'. The thing that worries me about 3 is that it potentially puts the opportunity for idols in the hands of a small group, and it also means everyone knows who possibly has any idols. I kind of like the idea that anyone could find an idol (although it should definitely be harder and there should be less of them) - but then again wasn't this the case for a few seasons when Exile was first introduced? And those are some of my favourites, so it could work. I think this would also (mostly) eliminate them letting it go to rocks as to who to send, because it would make it more important to control. Overall I haven't hated this season as much as some and I haven't found it particularly boring (especially post-merge), but Ghost Island has been either an annoyance or a non-factor. With a few tweaks it could be great.
  22. I think so? I was wondering the same thing - if his pitch to Wendell was partly to cause disunity between Wendell and Dom and partly a pitch to get Wendell to take him to F3. I didn't like him to start with, then started to like him a lot and after this week I think he's playing terribly, but he is interesting.
  23. Pretty sure you can't accuse Donathan's parents of jumping on a GoT bandwagon given he was born five years before the first book came out. It was discussed in the first episode thread and the theory seemed to be that it might have been a combination of two family names.
