Okay. This just proves that even when something is on camera, and is easily verified, people see and hear something different than what actually happened. I don't know if it's a disliking of characters that makes people see something different or what, but what you just described is the total opposite of what happened. SHEREE started with Kenya in the hotel room. Sheree did. This was after Porsha first got her riled up about confronting Kenya. And it was some bullshit anyway because Sheree was also turning around what actually happened and what was said. Sheree was saying Kenya was making light of domestic abuse and NO that's not what happened. Sheree first impliIed that Kenya "provoked" Matt. Then Kenya said Sheree had been hit too. Sheree was the one who made the disgusting insinuation that a woman would provoke a man to hit her. Then in the hotel room, Sheree is the one who went off on Kenya. And of course Kenya defended herself. Look I don't even like Kenya. But you can't argue about what is clearly on camera. I thought Kenya comforting Sheree was a sincere moment. Sheree is the one who couldn't leave that "comfort in the car".

And what "rumors", pray tell, is Kandi spreading about Phaedra? Do you know the definition of the word rumor? Anything Kandi has said about Phaedra were things Phaedra told her herself and that now Phaedra has all but admitted to. That's not a "rumor". I love how Kandi explained to ShitForBrains how she's always supported her, but she threw Kandi under the bus with lie after lie after lie over Kandi supposedly saying she had sex with Block. And by the way, Kandi's exact words were that Porsha "kicked it" with Block. And that also wasn't a "rumor". And Porsha saying she's "bullied". OMG I can't. And Phaedra is such a sociopath. Supposedly trying to calm Kandi down by saying "well you've said things about me too". Go to hell, girl, really. Porsha really is totally worthless. Not just on this show, but in life in general. I blame her mother for not swallowing.

Oh absolutely the attorney scene was fake. Along with Cynthia's bullshit reason for the divorce "it's my decision. There was no infidelity." How convienent. Still haven't heard anything but vague reasons for the divorce. And he's still a part of the show, his bar opening was filmed, and he's even going on the trip?? Ridiculous. My take is that they were already living apart, and just decided to make it a storyline because Cynthia had no other storyline. It's my understanding they have to tell producers what storyline they are going to bring for the season; this may have been the only thing Cynthia could come up with. Cynthia buying a new house means nothing. That could have been a mutual decision between them both off-camera.

And STFU Peter. Yes that comment was so disgusting. So if Cynthia is kissing an attractive woman, then "we all fucking tonight"? Well what if the two women don't want to fuck you? What if they just wanted to do each other? Or what if they only wanted to kiss? Just STFU. And I can't believe anyone is falling for this fake ass Cynthia/Peter divorce storyline. Because that's what it is. A storyline. I could tell that from the very first episode of this season, with Cynthia laying her head on the steering wheel while some maudlin ballad played. Girl, bye. Cynthia has always been the WORST at the fake storylines. Remember when Mallory "surprised" Cynthia and Peter showing up stating she was gonna live with them for a few months? So fucking fake. Or how about the faux falling out from the Peter Instagram video? Mark my words, they will be back together (not that they ever separated) by the reunion. This was all a storyline. They just happened to be able to pull It off because they live in different cities. Had they still been living together, word would have gotten out, but living apart happened to make the storyline very convenient.

Of course a liar doesn't necessarily lie about literally everything, after all even a broke clock is wrong twice a day, but when one is a proven liar, why should anyone believe them when they make a malicious accusation about a former friend? Please. Bottom line, they're not a reliable source, nothing they say holds water And really, so now we're catergorizing lies into lies told about other people and lies told about themselves? Lol. It really doesn't matter to me. Phaedra is a known, proven liar on multiple counts; it doesn't matter if her lies are about her or about others.

Can we just make it clear that last week, when Kandi told Porsha about Porsha kissing her and wanting to eat her, that Porsha said "that's a motherfucking lie" and "I don't do teapots, short and stout, bitch". But then this week, when Kandi came with receipts, it's all "well maybe I did do that, I don't know" and "blame it on the Hennessy". Which proves that she LIED. She is a liar, period. There is no question about this. So how can any of her other claims be taken seriously at all? It's obvious she lashes out and makes up lies when called on her shit. And by the way, if she was so drunk that she couldn't remember anything that night, how did she know that she was drunk and Kandi was sober??? The bullshit just never ends. And no, she doesn't get off the hook for prefacing her lies with "somebody told me". WTF? Seriously? So I can say "somebody told me you're a child molester" or any other crime and that's okay because "somebody told me"? Not today Satan. You don't say I planned to drug, kidnap and rape you, and think you're gonna get away with that shit because you say "somebody told me". I will destroy you. So anyone who thinks Kandi's reaction is over the top would not want to know me in real life. It's not as simple as "well if it's not true, just ignore it". And Phaedra also made up the lie about Kandi and Shamea. That's also another thing that's not up for debate. I'm sorry, Phaedra and Porsha are known liars, so how can anyone take anything they say seriously? Phaedra came on this show lying about her pregnancy, there's been a whole book written about her being a liar, she lied about seeing someone before Apollo went to jail, she made up this ridiculous lie about someone wanting to drop off "bomb music" at her office, it just goes on and on. People may not like Kandi, but she has not shown herself to be a liar on this show. What has Kandi lied about, ever? I'll wait....

Wait. Are you serious? How is Kandi trying to "bi shame" Porsha? It is quite literally the other way around. Are we watching the same show?? Kandi has been open about being with women. And she doesn't care if Porsha has been with women. This whole thing started with Porsha saying Kandi was "in the closet". And Kandi called her out saying that Porsha has been with women and had came on to Kandi. And you want to know why Kandi is worried what her kids will see, only now? Hmm well let's see. Because there is NOTHING wrong with selling plastic dicks. There is NOTHING wrong with hosting a web sex talk show. But attempted rape and drugging is a criminal act, and of course anyone would have a BIG problem with someone putting that out there. I'm surprised this even needs to be explained And what has Kandi "put out there" about anyone that wasn't the truth? She said Porsha came on to her and they kissed, Porsha lied about it and denied it, but Kandi brought the receipts. We see in the next episode that Phaedra admits to seeing someone before Apollo went to jail. Those are the only things Kandi has "put out there" and they are true. Porsha and Phaedra have been caught in several lies and Kandi has never been caught in any outright lies. She has never been one to front. And be clear, Kandi only spilled the tea on Porsha and Phaedra because they both came for her FIRST.

1. Kandi didn't escalate the issue. She did say she had experimented and so what? That wasn't the point. The point was that Porsha, of all people, was the one saying she was in the closet. 2. How is Todd "the real factor in this mess"? He doesn't have anything to do with this issue. Nothing was ever stated it was any kind of "three way" drunkfest. Todd was there when they kissed. So what? And Porsha telling Kandi she wants to eat her P until she orgasms; that is certainly enough for Kandi to label her an "agressive lesbian", IMO. And of course Porsha is not addressing any of this on social media. She can't back up her lies with receipts. So she has no choice but to say nothing because she knows she looks like a damn fool. 3. And again I have to wonder if people are watching the same show as me, because that is NOT what happened. Kandi didn't go telling Phaedra's business the minute they weren't friends. Not even close. She has been loyal to Phaedra for YEARS. They hadn't been close for a while. Kandi finally broke because of Phaedra talking shit about Todd in her interviews last year. And that's Phaedra's own damn fault. And of course Kandi felt some type of way about Phaedra crying to Nene on camera about Kandi not being a good friend while she was going through the Apollo situation. Because Phaedra told Kandi she was ready for him to be gone and was already dating someone else! 4. I don't see Kandi being "perpetually paranoid" about her private life at all. She's worried about what Phaedra and Porsha will say about her "private tastes"? Really? I don't see where any of that is coming from. We know Phaedra and Porsha will lie to put up a front about their personal lives. When have we ever known Kandi to do that? I also don't see how she has an "air of superiority" over the other women. Can you give examples? Now Nene had an air of superiority over the other women and she said as much, that none of the other ladies were "at her level". Phaedra has shown an air of superiority when she said she wanted to come on the show because none of the other women had a job or a career, besides Kandi. Kim had an air of superiority when she didn't want to hang out with the women or go on any trips. Kim Fields had an air of superiority when she said she wanted to bring "class" to the group. But I can't recall a time when Kandi has ever acted like she thought she was better than the other women. 5. Again, I don't see how Todd has anything to do with anything, and I definitely don't see Kandi as being "miserable":

Nothing in this post is anything that actually happened on the show. I have to wonder if I watch the same show as others. When did Kandi "go crazy" at the mention of a ménage a trois? That didn't happen. Like at all. She admitted a threesome right up front. Where did she go crazy? She didn't even go crazy at the mention of a seven year relationship with a woman. If anything, she was amused. And what does her singing gospel music have to do with anything?? And the after hours club is a sex club?? Huh? Where did that come from? So Porsha was at a sex club with them? No. Kandi didn't say Porsha was an aggressive lesbian "in bed". She didn't say anything about "bed". She said when Porsha gets drunk she becomes an agressive lesbian. Which means she is not shy about coming on to women when she is drunk. And Kandi witnessed it first hand so that is why she is able to comment on it And how did she "bark like a hit dog" at the mention of a sex dungeon? You're right, sex toys and sex dungeons go hand in hand, which is why she would have no problem saying if she did indeed have one. What is making her angry is the fact that Porsha is totally making up lies about her to deflect from herself. It's the *intent* behind what Porsha is saying; it's not what Porsha is actually saying. Kandi doesnt care if people think she has a sex dungeon, it's the fact that Porsha is deliberately making up lies to come for her. THAT is what is setting Kandi off. Kandi has never claimed her mouth is a "prayer book". What does Tiny have to do with anything? And Todd and Kandi are not innocents in what "whole thing"? What are you talking about??

WTH? How things can be twisted around to make a point is astonishing. She did NOT say she slept with Chuck so he could pay her bills. This was yet ANOTHER instance of Kandi keeping her mouth shut until someone tried to come for her. She wasn't going to say anything other than that she and Chuck dated. But Mynique took it upon herself to make it sound as if Kandi was just a groupie or a one night stand. THAT is when Kandi clarified that no, she and Chuck were in a relationship. She said that when she was having a hard time with credit card bills, he would help her out. She only said that to make the point they were in a relationship, she wasn't just some side ho, like Mynique was trying to imply. As far as the other stuff, I don't remember the sleeping with "a nobody" comment, but the other comments, yeah she talks bluntly about sex. She has a sex toy business. So I guess people can clutch their pearls at her "lack of decorum" but I care more about someone's character. Phaedra has "decorum" and puts on her Southern Belle act, but she is a snake. I think she might even be a sociopath. I'd much rather ride with Kandi, who possesses qualities I admire in a person. Kandi is a loyal friend. Too bad the friends she made on this show, Kim and Phaedra, turned out to do her so shitty.

Joyce's first season was Kandi's first season. She was on the show with Kandi literally from Day 1, if I remember correctly. I don't know what backlash you're referring to. I thought she was generally well liked back then. Hell I even liked Mama Joyce then. It wasn't until the "ain't no mountain high enough" season that she seemed to change into a completely different character.

This show just has too many damn characters. As I got theough more episodes this season, the more anxious I was that we were getting to see so little of some of the characters I like. Like Sister Ingalls, Sophia, Lorna, Gloria, We got a little more of Red and Nicky, but not much. It seems Pensatucky was barely in this season. Why in God's name they chose to focus so much on Aleida and her release, I will never understand. She is a horrid woman. And I don't give a fuck about Lolly either. And Crazy Eyes has been front and center every season for some inexplicable reason. I really wish shows (especially shows like this, which are binge watched and you have to wait a year for the next season) would offer more closure at the end of each season. I feel that would be much more satisfying to the viewer. Wentworth, a superior show about women in prison IMO, does this beautifully. Each season is basically wrapped up, but there is still a small cliffhanger about what's to come. I really don't want to wait a year to see Piscatelli and that Linda bitch get what's coming to them. I won't really care anymore by then.

I don't remember Demetria saying pop, I remember her saying she didn't want to categorize herself. If she did say that, my point is moot then. :) I thought it was a label Phaedra put on her, so she could go in on her about being too old. Her voice is actually really, really, really good. I am so surprised that I am shocked she is on this show and hasn't done much more than "House of Payne". Her vocal control is very impressive and the video posted earlier of her version of "I Will Always Love You" was beautiful.

That's the same type of flippant attitude I've seen Nene have in interviews before when she's asked about her HW costars and their storylines. Sort of just giving one word answers, like she's too good to talk about it. Well bitch, RHOA is the reason you're being interviewed in the first place, so get into it. I tend to think bigger women look better with a more voluminous hairstyle. I wonder why Nene always goes with short and flat. That pink wig is still, by far, the worst hair she's ever worn.

Why does everyone keep saying Demetria is trying to be a "pop" singer? Phaedra has said this a few times and Kandi has referenced it as well. It is clear to me her songs and voice are R&B. Pop to me is Katy Perry, Gaga, Britney type music. Rihanna is the only female black singer who I would consider a pop singer. I think Phaedra just put this out there as a way to put Demetria down and dismiss her.

I love Eileen's easy-breezy style. She looked great in the maxi dress at Yo's party. It's such a contrast to LisaV's style, which looks like it takes her 3 hours to get ready. It's hard to believe Eileen is the oldest cast member, she probably looks the most youthful. I remember a rumor, I guess from the 80's and 90's, that Eileen was transgender. Well that's the politically correct term, which wasn't used back then; it was more like "she was born a man". This was before the internet, but I remember people in school talking about it as if it were fact. And I thought it was true for the longest time when I was watching Days.

I've never seen it look good in person. It can look okay in pictures or for a nightclub look, but all these girls walking around daytime with a pound of banana powder under their eyes and stripes down the sides of their nose look ridiculous.

So is the facade of Kandi being this great "boss/head of an empire" showing the cracks this season? I think her partners must run her more successful businesses - the toy line and the clothing store - because her other stuff seems busted. Don Juan seems way too comfortable to be able to talk any kind of crazy way. And everything about A Mother's Love seems to be a mess - from the tour being cancelled to not even being able to get purchased DVD'S delivered. Not to mention the title and plot. So breaking into the lucrative Tyler Perry - type travelling play business failed. Breaking into the lucrative country music songwriting world failed. Trying to launch the next Rupaul out pop star (Lawrence) failed. Kandi Factory, the show, failed. If Kandi Factory is managing any artists, I haven't heard of them. She hasn't written for any relevant music artists since 1999. It's almost like she needs to get focused, instead of trying to be jack of all trades, master of none.

This production of Cinderella is a "Broadway" show. It was nominated for several Tony Awards. The Broadway Theatre is considered Broadway. Miss Saigon, Shrek, The Color Purple, Sister Act all played there and were eligible for Tony Awards. Now if she were playing a theater on Broadway and W 90th St and calling it Broadway, I'd give the side eye, but Nene is definitely in a Broadway show - about as Broadway as you can get. But we've still got plenty to clown on her about! What's up with that pink wig? I thought it may have been some kind of trendy hat at first, but that's really a wig? Did she not look in the mirror that day?

So I work for HSN part time, and I knew I recognized that maxi Joyce was sporting at the barbecue. It's just funny because I remember Kandi saying Joyce blew all her money on HSN. I wonder if she also picked up Nene's signature mumu? It's on clearance now for 19.95, Joyce.

Wow ZaldomWilder what an amazing post. I really dislike Kandi now. She gets defensive every time someone talks about her mom's unacceptable behavior and insists she will not cut her out of her life. Well girl, if you put boundaries in place-"No mama, you're not gonna act like that/say that towards me/my husband/my mother in law/etc. If you do, then you won't be in our lives"-and your mother chooses to not respect the boundaries, then SHE is the one cutting herself out of your life. It's up to HER. You don't just have to take any and all abusive shit just because she's your mother. And you damn sure don't buy her a new house after she destroyed another one you bought! Does Kandi really not see this? If she doesn't set boundaries, she will never keep a decent man. Never. I already give Todd the side eye for marrying into this situation. No decent, self respecting man would put up with that shit. You can support your mama all you want to, buy her anything she wants, but you deserve respect in return at the very least. Again, it's MJ's choice. If she wants the "lifestyle", then she better act right. Simple. So what are we dealing with here? Sociopath? Psychopath? Extreme narcissistic personality disorder?

So if the Angela Stanton stuff is true-and from Phaedra's depositions, I believe it-why hasn't Apollo ratted Phaedra out? Is this whole separation staged for the show? It seems Phaedra should appear to be more worried about what Apollo might say. This whole idea that innocent Phaedra had no! idea! how Apollo was making his money is an insult to the viewers' intelligence. There is just nothing authentic about this woman. I think she can be funny, but she never once appears to have an honest or authentic moment. She is fake and shady every minute of every day.

Exactly. It's this damn highlighting and contouring technique that everyone-and I mean everyone, just check out youtube and instagram- is doing now. The problem is, it's a drag queen technique and real women don't have to define their features so much because they already have feminine features. Even if Nene did have facial hair, it wouldn't be an all-over 5 o'clock shadow type beard. She looks like she has a 5 o'clock shadow because the highlighted area around the eyes is so severe, the contrast is giving the illusion of a 5 o'clock shadow. I mentioned this in Cynthia's thread, but I also don't get what's going on with the blue shadow that's applied almost up to her eyebrows.

I don't get Cynthia's makeup this season. In one TH, she's got on blue eyeshadow applied almost all the way up to her eyebrow.

If I were recommending where to start for a newbie, I would say start at the episode where Wesley comes in, which I believe is the 10th episode of Season 1. I personally could take or leave Doyle, and I really don't see the point of getting invested in a character who gets killed off so soon and hardly ever mentioned again. I do think that, even from the first episode, Angel is an easier "sell" to a newbie than Buffy. Buffy's first season is so low-budget looking, B movie cheesy and campy. And while I don't mind that at all, I can see how that could put some people off.
