I absolutely hated the way that Duke was talking down to Anna and playing it up as though he was the morally superior person.

 

I don't even particularly like Anna and I am completely over hearing characters going on and on about what she did to Faison. Hey RC, no one but Dr O cares about Faison or what happened to him. Furthermore, there is no way Duke lying and covering up for a murderer is the same as Anna and Robert keeping Faison hidden away from the world. Ummm sure okay. The GH universe is one messed up place.

 

Shut up Sonny and Carly. I don't care at all about either of their alleged pain. I really don't.

 

The Luke/Fluke stuff is just dumb. I noticed when Alexis was freeing Luke he did call her Natasha ... Fluke wouldn't do that would he? I mean if the theory might be that she freed Fluke and not Luke. Fluke didn't even know Dante's name so it seems unlikely he'd know Natasha. But then again this is RC ... so never mind.

Why is Agent WSB getting in Anna's face about justice while he has no problem at all with Dr. Olbrecht walking scott free for HER crimes?

 

I'm completely over Agent whatever his name is because the character is beyond ridiculous. RC has this character going on and on about what Anna did to Faison and then today he calls Faison a terrorist. Am I supposed to believe that Agent and US Government really care a bit about Faison? I'm tired of Anna getting this beat down day after day, while Dr O runs around spouting moral outrage. RC truly understands nothing about writing.

 

I loved Michael and Carly today. I thought both actors were terrific. I have no problem with Michael being a bit hesitant about signing those papers. He should be conflicted, after all no matter what: Carly is his mother and he did consider the orange moobster his father.

 

I really can't decide how I feel about Jake/Liz. I think they have some chemistry but RC is forcing too much. I think it's really past time for Jake to be interacting with more people. This island thing with the 2 of them is getting tiresome.

I don't think we're supposed to feel bad for O. but I think we're supposed to equate Anna's locking up Faison as morally grey. Nope!

 

Fair enough, but having to listen to line after line of her 'moral outrage' was quite irksome. I used to tolerate Dr O more because I love KG but now I think Dr O is one giant irk.

 

 

Until maybe the past day or two, with Nina/Stafford it's either been REPENT REPENT REPENT or this annoying cloying slow stammering baby voice

 

And jazz hands ... never forget her overuse of jazz hands. Can. Not. Stand. Her.

 

 

I'd have to go back to when Laura returned last February and Luke saw her on the dock.

 

That was a lovely scene made all the better because TG and GF have chemistry no matter what - even a simple look. Of course TG's continued hissy fit over the Luke and Laura pairing has ruined most of the positive that remains, but still that was a really good scene.

Oh yay Fluke is back. I'm so excited. Okay you caught me. That's a lie. I don't care at all. I  no longer remember what this Luke/Fluke crap was supposed to be about. How convenient for Fluke to show up just as Luke was finally able to break out.

 

 

They still have no clue that they've been played and manipulated by notLuke this whole time despite the billion bits of evidence which point to the contrary.

 

What you think it's weird for Luke to not know Dante's name? You think Lulu should have thought that was more than a little odd?

I can really see how, if developed properly, NiCo could have been one of the best couples on GH.

 

I completely disagree. Unless you mean that RoHo wouldn't be playing Franco and MS wouldn't be playing the insane The Nina. If Nina was just a woman who woke from a 20 year coma and RC was writing this as an actual storyline about that and RoHo was playing Dr Tom Hardy who was helping her. There would be potential there because the actors do work well together. Sadly, that's not what we have here. It's just two idiot characters who are insane running around being played by actors who overact a majority of the time.

 

RC simply doesn't have it in him to write a 'real' story (or as real as a soap can get). He just doesn't. It's camp, stupid and insta love.

Seriously. So let me see if I have this correct: he's concerned about a master criminal being dealt with outside the court of law because of ... reasons I guess. And I get that he was all up in arms about the WSB, but shouldn't he be equally concerned that Victor Cassidine was dealt with out side the court of law?!? You know because of the importance he places on folks not taking the law into their own hands and all that.

 

I really enjoyed the little scene of Ned and Monica going to tell AJ he'd been vindicated. Why can't I get more stuff like this and a lot less of that tiresome Spencer kid.

 

I've enjoyed Michael a lot these last 2 weeks. I don't know much about his history because I wasn't watching most of the time, but I'm liking his anger and toughness.

 

And sorry, but Michael is right: Tracy would give away ELQ for Luke and he isn't worth the already chewed gum lying on the sidewalk.

 

 

Did I see Michael pouncing on Morgan in the previews? So now he's going full thug and putting his hands on people?

 

Meh. I think he has a reason to be upset. The woman who set AJ up has now run off. Morgan has been protecting Ava all this time and keeping secrets from Michael. That hardly feels like Sonny's usual thug crap. I generally don't believe in the need for physical confrontation but after hearing that recording? I can understand where Michael is right now.

Completely agree. RC has dumbed her down so much with this Luke/Fluke stuff, it's just sad. I've never been a huge Tracy fan mainly because I often find JE too yell-y but I've rarely thought of the character as stupid.

 

I personally prefer scenes like today when Michael just coolly and coldly told Sonny and Carly a few truths. I liked when Anna calmly went into her Faison act.

 

LW and CD have been terrific over the last few days, MB not so much.

 

I'll say this about the head of ELQ position: at least Michael is one of the few 20 somethings on this show with a job. If I had to believe Victoria and Nick could run businesses and corporations on Y&R, then I can handle Michael as the head of ELQ. These are things I can get past and it's easier than say more rubber masks or a serial killer romantic lead or little kids who talk about love like adults or that Sonny is supposed to be a crime boss. YMMV.

Of course he isn't qualified, but lets face it that isn't anything new on soaps. How exactly is Dr O, a known criminal and insane person more qualified to be the Chief of Staff than Monica? Hell, even Sonny isn't qualified to be the 'Godfather' of his little mob.

 

Still I'd much rather watch Michael as the head of ELQ over Tracy. She just gives me a rash. Maybe Michael can start taking over Sonny's legit businesses or something.

I don't necessarily mind that she got him a lawyer, I just find it odd considering they've never been that close. Also it bugs every time Lucy berates Anna for arresting Duke etc. Perhaps Lucy hasn't been paying very close attention and maybe she needs to shut her pie hole long enough for someone to explain what's going on. I agree and it's ridiculous. Sonny and Carly are really horrible characters. Two of the worst ever created and two of the worst to be considered the lead characters of a show. The mind does boggle at this concept. Having said that though, I do 'like' them together. I don't mean like as in I ship them or anything, but rather like in terms of keeping their stench between them and not infecting any other characters. These two horrors belong together. That's been plain for a long time. Just stop trying to pair them with others - let them inflict pain and suffering on each other.

 

I laughed when Sonny said they shouldn't be together. Good lawd. Shut it Sonny. It's a bit late to finally decide the two of you together isn't a good idea!

I'm sorry if I sound like a broken record, but it's the FUCKING JUDGE who issues warrants, be they arrest or search, not the DA, police captain, police chief or commisuoner.

 

I was only stating something that Anna the Commissioner said the other day when she asked Scotty to issue a warrant for Franco (at least that's what I thought she said - I ff a lot) - because this is soap law not real life. So sarcasm? But I suppose not every one gets it.

 

I don't much care who writes the warrant on this show, my larger point was the new government agent guy might be RC's brilliant way of getting Sonny and Carly out of prison time (yeah that's sarcasm too). However, the reasoning would be stupid since Anna isn't the one issuing the warrants and so forth. She's only arresting the people she's told to arrest.

 

 

I wouldn't have a problem with Duke and Lucys friendship if it was actually built up.THey've had like three scenes together and now shes falling over him.

I can't even re: the WSB guy wanting Britt's help to go after Anna for "murder of Faison."

 

This makes no sense whatsoever. I mean really the WSB or American govt suddenly has issues with rogue agents on this show?!? Seems to me that has happened quite a bit lo these many years! Who is RC kidding here? Plus, if Anna and Robert did kill Faison how would anyone prove it, let alone Britt? And frankly, who gives a fuck if Faison is dead? The WSB or US Govt are really concerned about that criminal mastermind?

 

 

Maybe Ron is planning that all the people Anna is arresting will be no-billed and will go free because she herself is under suspicion for Faison's murder.

 

I wouldn't put it past him, though the DA is the one issuing the arrest warrants not Anna. Nevertheless, this or some version of it will likely be the get out of free card for Sonny and Carly.

That scene was so clumsy! It was just a stupid way to have Franco find out where The Nina was hiding out.

 

I don't find Franco and the Nina together the least bit appealing. The only way to make this palatable is for them to leave for good.

Why does Morgan keep calling this entire mess 'complicated?' It's not complicated Morgan: your ex gf killed your dad's gf. Then your ex set-up Michael's bio-dad. Then your dad killed Michael's bio-dad for no reason other than hatred. Then your dad and your ex had sex on Michael's bio-dads grave. That seems simple to me.

Sonny doesn't love Michael. Sonny loves Sonny. Full stop. Every single thing that came out of that lying liars mouth was said to guilt and manipulate. I didn't feel one thing Sonny said. In fact, I'm pretty sure I yelled 'give me a break' more than once. The character is vile and MB isn't a very good actor.

 

Bobbie can just shut up. Carly covered up a murder and Scotty is supposed to ignore that?

 

Scotty can shut up too though - his over the top crap today was tiresome. Also? He cares not a whit for Franco, so why is  he even pretending to be sympathetic about his son's poor little broken-heart?

The whole Fluke plot has been rendered kinda pointless though (unless this is Geary's swan song). Remember when Fluke was trying to find out from Julian and Ava what the secret was that could bring Sonny down? (aka that he killed AJ).

Julian and Ned fighting over Alexis is WAY more believable than two brothers fighting over Kiki, any two men fighting over Carly, any two men fighting over Maxie, or any two men fighting over the late SWNBN. Also NLG is much better looking than KA, even if she's a lot older

 

I agree, but then again I am generally an Alexis fan. Yeah sometimes when she acts like a schoolgirl out with the most popular boy in school it's irritating, but I believe two guys could be fighting over her.

 

 

I like that Michael didn't shoot him and that Dante got through to him. I loved that Sonny had to stand there and listen to Dante insult him and beg Michael not to turn into Sonny.

 

Me too. I honestly would have preferred a lot less yelling on Michael's part and a lot more cold, straight-forward 'you make me sick' statements. I also would have preferred that he wasn't waving a gun in Sonny's face. Needless to say, I was quite happy to see Dante taking some shots at Sonny too. I know none of this will last, it never does, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

 

I like the idea of Sonny and Carly losing everything to Michael, I know various posters have brought this up. They won't go to jail - that just will never happen. I'd like to see Michael decide to turn to his inner Quartermaine and go after Sonny's businesses and Carly's hotel. Have both of those gross characters brought low.

Anna-Duke scenes were good. And while I know Anna should dump his ass, the scene today was so subtle yet filled with emotion, it made me sad for the couple

 

The subtle was great to me, considering the rest is all so over the top dumb. I don't like that Duke has been relegated to defending Sonny to the bitter end. Uggghh!

I loved the reveal today, largely because it wasn't interrupted. Meaning everything was revealed. Thank goodness. I was expecting maybe just the affair would come out and we'd be waiting for months for the rest to drop. I thought all of the actors did really good work: Franco's sarcasm (Sonny's pepperoni hee), Carly's shock and fear, Michael's disgust and growing anger ( though KA sucked as usual. I don't know why it's so hard for her to react appropriately).

 

That being said I hated having Franco be the one  to drop the  boom. I absolutely cannot stand Sonny and am not exactly a fan of Carly either (sorry but she doesn't bug me nearly as much as Sonny), but Franco is a SERIAL KILLER. I don't care that his black heart was allegedly hurt by  Carly cheating. I don't care that these secrets needed to be told. None of it had  to come from that character. I  would have preferred just about anyone else.

 

 

Dare I hope there is some fall out for Bobbie lying to Scott?

 

Fall out for what? For Bobbie standing by her sickening daughter when Scott's son is a SERIAL KILLER? Scott doesn't care about Franco at all, so any story in which he gets pissy about this is stupid. Plus, wasn't Scott himself boinking a married woman just a few months ago?

I do want her to dump him for sure, but I really liked their scenes today. Both actors sold the material. Duke is a dumbass for sure, but for some reason I like him and I wish he would stop defending that greasy moobster.

 

 

God bless Joss for wanting to kick Franco.  She surprisingly became the bright spot in this story

 

She was awesome. Right up until RC had to go back to the corn well again. He is such an ass.

 

I don't even know what to say about the Ava/Nina stuff. The storyline is terrible for one. I think MW is doing a great job and MS is doing an absolutely horrible job. I know Ava is a mobster. I know she killed Connie. I know all of these things. None of that justifies having The Nina do this to her. Sorry but I just can't with this crap. Also what does The Nina think she's going to do with this baby? Like no one will remember she wasn't pregnant and everyone will forget Ava was?!?

 

One last thing: every time Franco stopped the video the looks on Sonny's face were hilarious! I was dying.
