Okay. Let's say I'm okay in an alternate world with Felicity losing. I didn't realize Sara was a bad guy. I don't follow this thread that closely and only saw the picture so no idea who they were playing.

I am absolutely unbothered by the idea of Felicity as a villain defeated by Sara in an alternate universe. She's a hero on her own show. It was probably a blast for EBR to dress up and be a bad guy. I'm excited either way.

MG said earlier that they weren't having Felicity kill someone. She could however hack something that exposes William and Samantha to Prometheus.

I think Bam as producer is most likely the news. I was wondering if someone was getting promoted but his name didn't come to mind. I was thinking a writer but Bam makes sense to me. They seem to love him.

Just trying to figure out who a bunch of characters could be. So based on the 5.21 Lian Yu spoiler pics Anatoly and the Bratva give Oliver a lift back to the island. It looks like they also help him build his rescue signal. He has his trunk with his father's list and the picture of doom. Is he reminiscing while getting in shape/preparing for his mission for 2 episodes? Maybe we are going to see Yao Fei, Shado, Robert, Sara, etc again? Can't imagine what they are going to show otherwise unless it's just him running and practicing his archery, not to mention applying a false beard. A time jump in flashbacks only could be another option I guess. It also looks like Kovar's storyline must end in 5.19. IIRC, Dolph said he was back for 3 episodes. Thea appears to be in 5.21 which leaves her with one episode left if I am counting correctly. Could she be "Missing" in 5.22? I know the hope seems to be Felicity but Prometheus hasn't messed with Thea yet. It could explain her absence if she's in 5.23. Or maybe she goes in search of Roy and brings him back for the finale. If the finale takes place on Lian Yu, is there a reason for the characters to actually suit up other than the show thinks it looks cool? Random question, the cool upgrades to his helmet that David talked about here and there, were they given to Vigilante instead?

This disappoints me greatly if true. I was enjoying reading the spoilers right before the episodes aired and then watching them play out on my screen. I knew his bias so his "tone" didn't bother me although I know it upset others. Someone facebooked SA the dialogue and asked why they were leaking it. Someone else tweeted it to MG and asked the same so I guess it was bound to happen.

Speaking of JBuffy, is Felicity stating her position on William and what she needs from Oliver part of the flashback or part of present day? I know she didn't say but I am curious if that was part of the chat which led to their current "regimented" behavior. Or just vodka and mistakes being made. Thoughts?

Is it Team Arrow vs Team Felicity in a race to get Prometheus or Team Arrow trying to stop whatever Team Felicity is doing? I assumed it was them going after Prometheus different ways. Now I'm just confused.

I don't actually believe Oliver enjoys killing. If he did though, how do you reconcile that with his initial reaction to killing Billy? He enjoys killing bad guys but not good?

In flashbacks it's basically been kill or be killed which is why I haven't had a real problem with it. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

No wonder SA was concerned that if it wasn't done right the show might not be able to come back from it. It'll be interesting to see fan reaction.

I hope this is it too. I wonder if 5.04, 5.09, and 5.16 was laying groundwork for their relationship in the flashback portion. In 5.04 Oliver & Lyla were on the same page about breaking Diggle out and just immediately dismissed Felicity without any discussion when she expressed misgivings. In 5.09 we have Felicity and Thea frustrated about men not listening. In 5.16 we have Felicity expecting a tongue lashing for being unavailable for work as well as her surprised reaction at him being worried about her. He doesn't even agree to a new team until after talking to Diggle. I am not trying to put all the blame on Oliver. He's the one with the go it alone tendencies. In trying to navigate their new status perhaps he made her feel like an employee instead of a partner so she needed something outside the lair. Along comes Billy who makes her feel valued. Diggle & Lyla are supposed to be working on their issues in this episode too. If the newbies are on their own trying to get to the bunker or whatever the shaft leads to, it would explain JH's response about who leads the team in Oliver's absence.

Does that include his appearance in 5.17?

Do we know how many episodes Dolph has filmed this go round? I think he said he was in 3 episodes. Anyway, assuming Oliver's secret is that he's a hunter I wondered if perhaps he & Anatoly lure Kovar & company to Lian Yu. There Oliver has set traps because he knows the island. Anatoly might decide it's better if Oliver doesn't return to Russia. (Oliver was going to leave anyway before Gregor attempted to kill Anatoly.) 5.22 - 5.23 has Oliver alone on Lian Yu preparing to return to Starling to honor his father's wishes.

Maybe like on LOT Laurel's return is a vision sequence that wraps up her BC role as Dinah takes on the mantle. She smiles down on Oliver with her love and the approval of his choice.
