RE: Oliver & Felicity...Felicity thinks Oliver doesn't trust her. She said as much in tonight's episode. The show has never really shown that. It often shows the opposite. I think he's more afraid of losing her or even destroying her (knocking her off the pedestal he has her on). He's overprotective. He also thinks he's a monster so he might think she'd run if she knew everything about him. It'll be interesting to see if Barry telling him in the original timeline that she left him gets mentioned next week. After the breakup scene in 5.18 I wondered if she came back during 5.19 shooting to re-shoot the 2nd half of the scene. There seemed to be a funny tonal shift from the greeting to the "apologies" break up. Re: Dinah...I am thinking Vigilante is her thought-to-be-dead partner/lover. They could move Diggle to ARGUS. It would free up the GA's main fighting partner/confidant for BC. <eyeroll> After reading EK's Digital Spy interview about successfully replacing fan favorites with a new rag-tag team my mind has gone to unpleasant places.

So, are Diggle & Lyla breaking up? Is Lyla leaving ARGUS? I don't see how a discussion is going to work out their issues. As long as Lyla is head of ARGUS it seems like she would be making questionable choices. The actress is a regular on another show. Also, if Arrow remains a gritty, grounded show is there going to be a continuous need for ARGUS on the show? They helped with nuclear missiles & mirakuru soldiers. IIRC, ARGUS came in with the Suicide Squad episodes. I just wonder if they have run their course.

Their need to make unilateral decisions seems to be the only thing that BMD and Helix have in common. Is Cayden James going to be Arrow's equivalent of Julian Assange?
-
I think they think the lying has been addressed. There has been no mention that I recall about Oliver understanding anything. I think what's going to be addressed/reframed is an understanding of why he has felt the need to "go it alone." It's what she is doing now. She's excluded everyone in relation to her involvement with Helix.

This is what makes me laugh about this whole storyline. Felicity regularly does illegal things on behalf of Team Arrow. Why is this any different other than it's not for Team Arrow? IIRC Oliver broke into Palmer Tech and stole something in 5.04 to use in freeing Diggle on behalf of Lyla? Is this a repeat which is why Diggle and Lyla work on their issues in 5.20 too? I figured WM made that remark that people were attributing to NA. I think she did that earlier in the year too, maybe in an interview about 5.05.

In that case, I'd worry for Diggle.

So is "let go of the fate his father burdened him with" confirmation that Malcolm goes bye-bye? :-)

The article I just read said most are paid per episode. They are getting paid less because there are so many 10-12 episode shows and writers can't always find more than one show to work on. They often work more than a week per episode too We would probably be looking at later starting, less episode shows.

WM changed her words to "not right away" shortly after this interview. Don't remember which interview though. I remember reading it and wondering if she was just softening her words or if they were rethinking things even that early.

Maybe Oliver promises them their freedom or transfer to somewhere less isolated? They get on a boat and it explodes? WM is teasing we might lose some people. Oliver will be reeling. Maybe we lose the villains & anti-heroes who helped him? A timed explosion is something Chase could arrange in advance. Clear the ARGUS super max, Malcolm Merlyn, etc from the show.
-
Maybe stunt doubles?
-
Maybe end 5.19 beginning of 5.20 when they get trapped? He was wearing gloves when attempting to stop Felicity & Helix.
-
If Malcolm dies in the finale, it should be sacrificing himself for Oliver & his family. MM blew up the Gambit and Oliver's life in the process. MM & his Undertaking destroyed the Queen family.* Yet, Oliver protected him because he was Thea's biological father. MM sacrificing himself for Oliver & his family would be coming full circle. *He could also be accused of destroying the Lance family but they were more collateral damage than direct assault.

I mentioned present day not flashback. It's most likely flashback but who knows (unless the question referenced the sex/flashback and I totally missed it while cringing?)
-
Well if it comes up present day as part of their "adult conversation" I guess we can add Quentin, Dinah and Rene as people she wouldn't want to know. I could see both Curtis and Rene reminding them of it from time to time, unintentionally or intentionally.
-
Just the idea that she thinks Oliver might tell someone that they had sex. @way2interested is correct in that without context it's hard to judge but I cringed when I read it so that was my initial reaction.

UGH at the 5.20 dialogue tease. I'm pretty sure it is Felicity to Oliver and is supposed to be cute and funny. I hate the way Wendy & Beth write Felicity. Why do they insist on juvenilizing her?

Well there was talk of an explosion. MG dismissed the theory of the team being on a boat and it exploding. It doesn't mean Baby Mama and son aren't on a boat that explodes. WM said something about not the family we're thinking of. I would think only boy survives, if we even know, because of SA saying "but then how" .....can he be GA if he is a single father? Cue 6.01 flashbacks to explain what happens. I think Anna is going to be Chase's girlfriend that went home with Oliver 12 years ago. Chase is aware of kid's existence because he knew she got pregnant and was probably aware of what happened in S4 with Dhark.

It was kind of funny though. A certain part of the fandom were upset by that remark when she made it at a con.

Stephen has said several times over the years on Facebook that he doesn't need a PR Team. He knows more than they do.

Thanks @bijoux

Is that a stand alone glass case on the side? Is it new?
-
Based on things MG has said I only think SW would reveal Oliver's secret identity if he asked her to do it.

Did they say it was all on Lian Yu or that the action is taking place somewhere besides the city so it's not in danger this year? It only takes one scene after a let's go home scene for Oliver to hold a press conference in Star City to reveal himself.
