Yes. It took a long time but I’ve finally stopped giving hot dudes a harder time. After being screwed over and watching my friends be screwed over by average dudes who seemed nice lol I get the feeling Tyler was genuinely interested but at the same time knew she’s not the only woman in the word and would not pretend to be devastated if she didn’t pick him. He was thinking: if she chooses me, great. If she doesn’t choose me...still great. That makes him...normal, emotionally stable. IMO

I agree with you. My only issue with Hannah’s thinking is Jed doesn’t seem like marriage material either. He’s a 25 year old aspiring musician who told her he signed up for his career. He hasn’t said he is ready to settle down only that he is open to love. He’s also pretty chill and laid back. But he does play instruments and sing so maybe that makes his approach seem more grand than tyler’s? But Jed does that for a living so it really isn’t so grand. Now I do think she probably has more in common with Jed. He does seem more country: lives in Nashville, sings country music, his friends are just like him. Tyler is definitely more of an urban city boy: boating and drinking, very diverse group of friends, rap and r&b guy; big sports guy. I think Tyler just flat out isn’t her type, though she is physically attracted to him. One thing she has repeatedly said about Jed is that she likes that he’s “southern.” She also told Garett he felt like home. Tyler doesn’t give her that feeling.

I'm with you. I actually think Tyler is (or was) into her. I noticed how nervous he was at the beginning of their 1 on 1, his hands were shaking, and also last episode when he asked her if they could talk. I think people believe Tyler is not into her because they perceive him as being a player (for shallow reasons IMO) or better catch than Hannah. Even if both those things are true, doesn't mean he didn't fall for Hannah. I think he was definitely interested, based on what we've seen so far. Not sure if he still is, given the amount of female attention he's received since she dumped him.

I thought “broke off engagement” was bachelor speak for broken up. She probably can’t cut all ties until ATFR. TPTB wants to film more. Plus she ended the engagement before the additional details from Stevens came out this week. I don’t see her staying with him. She’s spent maybe a week total in time with this man. She’s not that attached. Jed burned down his entire house for his career. Hannah is a bigger meal ticket than Haley. And rumor has it he has already cheated on her. That might have been what caused the split and not the Haley mess. I def think she wants to be engaged, if anything just to say she is. But I also think she wants to be with someone who actually loves her and isn’t in it just for fame.

^I agree. Do you think it's possible they wrote the whole script? Mills said in one of the first interviews post-filming she was undecided until the last minute and could've gone either way. Hannah also IMO looked off during her first interviews. So off to me I wasn't sure if she was happy and/or engaged. Do you think it's possible they pushed her to choose Jed, knowing the gf mess would break? Maybe it's because I watched Unreal, but I think they are totally capable. And Hannah is very susceptible to manipulation. I'm suddenly feeling really bad for Hannah. Edit to add: If this has been scripted, I expect Tyler to be spotted in LA soon.

Agreed but I also feel like Hannah was set up in a way. TPTB knew Jed was her type (she posted on SM her dream was to be a country singer. she prob also told them she wanted to live in nashville) and they knew he was only there for his career IMO they likely also knew about the girlfriend. I don't buy all the rumors about him slipped by them. They also let the situation with Luke go until it couldn't anymore, the FS blow up. Yes, Hannah was attracted to him, but IMO they encouraged her to keep giving him chances. I also think certain dates and convos happened literally just to push Luke's buttons. They knew how Luke would react to the bungee jump date AND probably encouraged Garett to tell him. They also made Luke's FS date the last date to provoke the sex talk, likely even told Luke to ask about it. They did nothing to help their young lead because all they care about is drama. I'm sure fleiss is cackling with glee.

Per RS, Hannah ended the engagement with Jed earlier this week. Just give me the ATFR already! I bet they are filming all of this!!

More tidbits from Haley's podcast with RS: They exchanged I love yous. They took multiple trips together and met each others families. They took a trip to go visit his family. Jed met her family at christmas. She found out he was casted shortly before the trip to the Bahamas. She paid for the trip to the bahamas with money from her parents. Haley helped Jed pack for the show. RS accidentally spilled to Haley that Jed slept with another woman shortly before the trip to the Bahamas; He has the texts to prove it; RS thought she knew; Haley didn't know and started crying. Haley took responsibility for her actions and said she should've walked away when he told her he was going on the show

It's not about the smart thing. It's about doing the RIGHT thing IMO. It is wrong to go on a dating show without ending things with a woman you claimed to love. He essentially held on to her until a new and shiny thing came along, if is with Hannah. We will have to agree to disagree. I personally do not treat people that way. I do not use people or string them along. His pre-show actions aren't the only issue. The spoiler account with the video of him and the woman at the bar posted a snapshot of the video showing Jed. She didn't want to show the girls face because she was asked not to, but people continued to doubt that she had a video, so she provided the snapshot. I want to be clear. I don't think Jed is some evil dude. He's just a boy, not ready to be engaged, stringing women along. I call that behavior out with men in RL not just with men I see on TV.
-
I vaguely remember a reference to his family, but meeting his family wouldn't necessarily indicate seriousness in this case. Jed's dad is also a musician, so she could've met him even before she was with Jed. I get the feeling the nashville music scene is small, which is why she bumped into Jed at a concert when he got back. More telling to me is the vacation together and I love yous. He also took her guitar case on the show. I also wonder if Haley is partly why his dad went on a rant about the show on sm. He straight up called it "fake." I'm sure he knew about Haley and Jed prob told his dad he was only signing up for exposure, so he wasn't thrilled about hometowns.

In other news, James Taylor, blast from the past, and friend of the rumored F1, Jed, is slut-shaming Hannah on twitter:
-
For me, that's not the issue. Peter dumped his gf before going on the show. This is a dating show, not talent competition. Folks should not be signing up who have significant others back home waiting for them. I would have a completely different opinion of Jed if he dumped Haley first. Instead, he told her, he loved her, he only wanted to be top 5, and this would make their relationship stronger. The dude showed up to serenade Hannah with Haley's guitar case. His actions are inexcusable. IMO

Hannah confuses me, which is why I can buy she confuses Luke. Hannah has repeatedly said she wants a traditionally southern masculine man and her faith is very important to her. Luke has been upfront as being that kind of man, which is why she appears to like him. Those type of men typically do NOT like to see "their women" being sexually aggressive with other men. She's from Alabama she knows this. Now of course all of them aren't like this. But most traditionally southern religious men I know, being from the south, certainly have strict views about women and sex. So it's confusing to me that the reasons she appears to be attracted to Luke are the same reasons she's fighting him over, if that makes sense? Luke is very straightforward IMO about the type of man he is. But Hannah, to me, seems confused about who she is and what she wants in a man. I believe a part of her agrees with Luke's conservative views but there's another part of her trying to fight against them.

What’s so interesting is the fact that the guys are trying to have real conversations with her, even HotTyler. I noticed last episode they are talking on the couch, and she drags him to the bed. This ep, he asks a question about her (her favorite topic) and she cuts him off with a kiss. She’s not even trying to listen to anyone that isn’t Luke. She lets Jed sing but he doesn’t do much talking to her either. Now this could be because she knows her choice, Luke. So no need to let the others speak. But then Luke has a point—why is she straddling men, i.e. Tyler, Peter, or going topless with them, Garett, if they don’t have a chance? She can’t both be looking for a husband, whom she found in Luke AND trying to make up for the the fact that she only had two boyfriends before this. You can’t do both at the same time. Either you want to play the field or look for a husband. And if it’s the latter it’s confusing she is so sexually aggressive with men that have no shot at being her husband (good for them).
-
They give him villain music when he snuck out to serenade Hannah. They also showed him playing music three times, multiple instruments.
-
Maybe I blinked and missed it, but did they cut out the makeout scene with Luke from the preview? In the preview, they make out when they are sitting on the couch after the group date and she climbs on top of him, before or after Luke tells her his feelings about the bungee jumping. If it was after, they cut it to protect this Hannah's a strong woman tagline they are selling. She made out with him AFTER he slut-shamed her. Oh honey...

I'm sure that was the deal she made with Jed I'm sure. He's not the only one who's going to get to promote his career.
-
Twitter was brutal tonight. I don't know how Hannah is going to deal with this. Even Lauren Zima changed her tune tonight, maybe that's a clue the producers are about to throw Jed to the wolves.
-
He's so Florida.
-
More Jed + music though. I feel like TPTB are poking at him.
-
Hannah keeps complaining about not getting to know these men but keeps cancelling cocktail parties?? She only has so many weeks to get to know these men and she's keeps cutting the time down!
-
Re Luke, I don't blame you. It's not like Hannah's actually going to find love on this show.
-
Hannah has awful taste. Caelynn shouldv'e been the bachelorette. Yeah, I said it! She would've never made us suffer through Jed or Luke!!
-
The jed tweets on twitter are soooo funny!!
-
Yes! I think this might be because it comes natural to Tyler and not Peter. Do you think producers might be telling peter to get more sexual? Hannah has IMO very stereotypical views of masculinity, so maybe Peter is stepping out of his comfort zone? It just doesn't feel natural when Peter does it. Peter, of all the guys, is getting the physical edit. Seems off to me.
