Oh, dear why would she need a dishwasher. Whoopi never eats, so dirty plates are not a thing.
And we know she doesn't buy groceries for her guests . . .

I really can't stand when Whoopi goes into her strict parenting advice BS.
I must have missed the conversation about Linda Tripp last week. Did Meghan not know who Linda Tripp was?
I could handle it if she had a successful child. Did Alex even graduate high school before giving birth?

They knew the sex of the baby from the ultrasound. They just decided not to tell anyone (and by 'anyone', I mean on the show and the audience.)
I really thought that they were going to have a boy. The family's girls now are Josslyn, Avery, Donna and Kristina, while there is only Michael now to balance them (until Morgan comes back).
And of course Dante.

If the baby has to be named after someone, can't it be one of their mothers? It's a nice tribute to the make-up artist, but give that name to a new character that isn't a baby!

I can guarantee I would never have attended one of their shows. Not because of moral qualms, because honestly, there are plenty of humans who would have happily traded places with those tigers and the life they led. (Not so much now that they're confined of course.) So I don't personally think the big cats were inhumanely or cruelly treated, anymore than my dog or cat are. YMMV.
But seriously! Huge lions and tigers inches from rows of humans, with just a small leash holding them? And as we saw, no method planned for something going disastrously wrong. No dart gun, or injection, or rifle, or... anything. They had to use a fire extinguisher!
Due to skill and luck, nothing bad happened for years, but it was always a possibility. What if instead of attacking Roy, the tiger had leapt into the audience?
It reminds me of the movie Grizzly Man. (Not a recommendation. It was traumatizing). But it was the same situation. A man became so certain of his ability to understand and somehow control grizzlies that it eventually led to his and his girlfriend's horrifying deaths. He wasn't evil at all, but hubris led to the inevitable end.
People may be envious of the lives those wildcats lived, but that's because they're, you know, humans. Dogs and cats have been domesticated for a thousand or so years so I don't think the comparison fits here. The only saving grace, for me, is that when a human cost occurred, it was to one of those fools who caused this problem.
Regarding Grizzly Man, I agree about traumatizing. For those who don't know, the camera was running during the attack with the lens cap on. The scene that still sticks with me is the reaction of his friend as she listens to the tape. The girlfriend trying to beat the bear off and then when Timothy finally tells her he's going to die and run. I do resent him for putting his poor girlfriend, who said she was afraid of the bears, in this situation. And she died because instead of immediately running she tried to save Timothy.
Edited to add - The friend didn't actually listen to the tape but watched the face of the director as he listened to it on headphones. He told the friend she shouldn't listen to it and to destroy it.

He's probably a friend of her dad's.

That remains me of our beloved Sierra Rose on OLTL. There were all these heavy scenes of Mitch or Allison threatening someone or saying something super dramatic during her kidnapping and then it'd pan to her and she'd be gnawing on toy keys or looking adorably annoyed that her nap had interrupted. Oh Sierra Mist.
Speaking of gay parents, I was reminded again that the lack of time and energy that the Lucas/Brad relationship gets is really sapping this baby swap of its full soap potential. It comes off kinda sterile. I mean, their baby is missing and they don't share a hug and barely touch? I just don't think the scenes of Lucas eventually unloading on and dumping Brad for the swap will have any weight because their relationship doesn't.
Give it ten rests. Shut. Up. Carly.
This is especially true when compared to how Willow was being comforted by Chase. The only difference is Chase isn't personally invested in Wiley so he was more able to keep his head together. It's not uncommon for parents to be unable to seek comfort in each other during a child's sickness or death, but still. I'm just going with Brad feeling so guilty for bringing Shiloh into Wiley's life that he's incapable of functioning as a supportive husband. But then I've never liked Brad and think Lucas deserves better. Much better. And it pains me to say that as Asians are so underrepresented on TV.

And when Joy threw to her, because she had someone she wanted to acknowledge, MeAgain, instead of just saying what she was supposed to say, said that she didn't have enough time, it was too long, what she needed to say. Then, having wasted all that time she quickly said the guy's name, they showed his picture and she rattled off the honour he was given. So pathetic.
I think Meghan thought that all the time had been blown for Ana and Sunny to toot their horns, and was upset that she was forgotten. She couldn't immediately shake that off when she got a few seconds, so she just blurted it out.
I understand Meghan a little too well, which frightens me.

Not to mention that Joe Manchin is in the senate and Adam Schiff is in the House. What a dumbass! some political pundit . The House impeaches the President, charging him with the crimes and the trial is in the senate where the senators will vote either to convict or acquit him. Nutmeg needs to take a civics class about how government works.
I wonder if someone could buy a Civics coloring book and send it to Meghan via ABC.

I thought the table was good today, I normally do when Joy or Sunny aren't on. Meghan didn't get huffy,Joy didn't get twitchy.
They really can't make their point with so little time, but that's always been the problem with this show( gotta make room for deals etc..)
I wouldn't watch a show absent of Joy and Sunny, who are the only substantive hosts, IMO. Without them, we have meandering Whoopi, mumbling and preaching on the topics that personally affect her. To her left is Little Miss Sunshine, wearing her rose-colored glasses and a gigantic grin, scolding anyone who threatens her own private utopia. Lastly, there's the rage-monster Princess of Arizona, whose lies, malaprops, and general ignorance of every topic, descends into a shrieking victim mentality.
Ana's a breath of fresh air for me, but I will admit it's because she's anti-Trump and makes Meghan's rage greater. And don't for a second disbelieve that Ana treasures every moment of Meghan's misery.

You're right, they did stop. But like @Katesus7 pointed out, all of the people he said things about were gone from the house except Jessica and while Jackson said horrible things about Jessica (her body being a wreck), I don't remember him going a racial route with his insults to her.
I mean, biases or racist statements - whichever side of the debate you land on, Jackson was definitely involved in those moments. Jack was involved in those moments. I wish the people like Tommy and Sam and Analyse, who all sat there and laughed without saying anything, were called out more.
I was livid when they showed the shot of the jury when the topic of Nicole being shut out of the HoH came up and Tommy was nodding all sympathetic like. Like, bitch, we know when you were in rooms and engaged in conversations and when you weren't. I wouldn't be nodding like you were.
I didn’t witness it myself, but I read that Jackson said Jessica should “go back to Mexico”.

What I found strange was that he couldn't enjoy his win at all because he was afraid his parents would be mad at him. Very, very odd dynamic. I actually felt bad for him. Well, until he was careful to NOT commit himself to Holly in any way.
The finale was every bit as uncomfortable as I expected. I'm glad various people got to say how they felt, and others were held accountable for their bad behaviour (Jack. Nick). There were even a few genuine apologies.
But wow, that last bit was very, very weird. I've never seen an unhappier winner, or a more subdued bunch of hamsters.
All in all, I enjoyed this season. It was a roller coaster from the cringeworthy start to the bonkers ending. Strangely cathartic and satisfying.
Surprisingly, that really bothered me too. He was looking down when he said it to Julie, but kept glancing up at his parents like he was afraid of their reaction. It was sweet that he seemed genuinely happy for Nicole’s win, for whatever that’s worth.

There are times when I try to like Abby. However, with her rant about climate change, she keeps bringing me back to that "white moderate" type that MLK talked about in the Letter From Birmingham Jail. Yes, it's about race, but the bolded text refers to how she a lot of the time approaches a complex issue:
"First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."
Abby is a product of her culture and former religion, which is very insulated and homogenic. She is a sweet summer child, which in Game of Thrones lingo, is equivalent to the southern condescending comment - bless your heart.

Unintentionally funny line of the day:
Sam: Please give me Wylie, he's getting very upset"
Cut to Wylie, just hanging out with his soother in Coby's arms, not looking uspet in any way shape or form!!
No way on this planet do I believe that Shiloh would give up Wylie like that after all the talk of getting HIS SON back. If he knew how to drive the boat, then just drive and dump Sam and Dev at sea somewhere. I thought this was going to be an interesting kidnapping, with Brad fretting on the sidelines and a possible paternity reveal, but it's just going to turn into Jason killing Shiloh (or Shiloh going overboard and being presumed dead until he returns). So dumb.
Not that I love baby kidnapping stories, but this one was definitely anti-climactic. Where was the scene of Brad wailing to Shiloh - he's not yours he's Nelle's and Michael's? When will Brad ever leave my screen with his sniveling whining?

I just said that Kelly wasn't a physical fighter because she is someone who uses words to hurt people, but I guess she'll do both. But why we just now hearing about this if it happened in March? I don't doubt Kelly did attack this woman, since she is a loose cannon, but I also think this woman wants to gain publicity from this.
Kelly would be in jail if she did anywhere near this level of damage. People are frequently beaten to death without even one compound fracture, yet this woman claims two.

I’m Lol’ing at the long list of supposed injuries. Two compound fractures? Two different bones protruding from her skin?? And yet the one pick is a gouge mark on her hand. This sounds like Shannon levels of exaggeration.

I cannot stand how Epiphany is all buddy-buddy with the Corinthii. You know it's just in service of her ~relationship with that idiot Milo, but still. Also, WTF with her "as the head nurse I read all the charts and the doctors tell me everything" bullshit. She's literally a nurse (or physical therapist when the storyline calls for it) in every department. Now she's an obstetrics expert. Shut up, Pip.
Bobbie's roadside faint was hilarious.
Hi, I'm Sam McCall, local P.I. and all-around idiot. I get an obviously suspicious call and even though I know Shiloh is on the loose, do I call the police and tell them? No, no I don't. I go running in my out-of-character palazzo pants with a dead cellphone as my only protection.
OMG, Kim is insane. She needs Laura's old rocker at Shadybrooke (or whatever the name of that place was).
The wailing for help down a deserted road. The desperate attempt to minimize injury by "fainting" up against the guardrail, and coming dangerously close to backflipping over it. Oh my.

Okay I have a theory as to why Bob Iger was their guest today, not only promoting his book but possibly to keep an eye on Meghan, after her walkout on Friday. You have to remember he has the power to fire anyone on the ABC and ESPN circuits, if she keeps this behavior on he will be right there on his radar and plus whether you like it or not Meghan ain't going nowhere her blowups are honestly what is getting this show its ratings.
That would be wonderful, but I imagine he was there to be slavishly praised by people he has utter control over, and on a show that he can cancel in a moment.
He seemed like a nice, humble man, but I'm just not interested in another white man in the upper echelons of wealth and power talking about the American dream and American Exceptionalism.

For Meghan to ever be taken seriously (yeah right) she needs to stop generalizing. Either come up with specific examples or shut.the.fuck.up.
Exactly. Hasn’t she previously stated that all of her friends are conservative? Now she knows a large group of liberals? Her friends seem to change when it fits her agenda.

"The View": Week of 9/30/2019
in The View
And Woodward and Bernstein are extremely admirable for keeping their secret, as promised, until after "Deepthroat" died.
I'm not a Michael fan - he's the new Ryan Seacrest, which yay! for him, but over saturated to the point I can't bear to see his face or hear his voice. But, I just read up on his relationship with his second ex because my mom claimed he's a single dad to his twins. Ex-wife #2 made outrageous claims about how much money she needed after the divorce. She insisted the 20 month old twins absolutely needed excessive accessories and one child would not even leave the house without her purse! It was so bad that he was able to appeal the terms of the divorce.
Again, I'm not defending him, but I bet the ex gets way more than enough to pay for the lessons and is trying to stiff him for the bill. What I do find interesting is that he doesn't seem to mention his two older children. If I went by what he said today, he only has the twins.
From what I gather, Ex #2 was quite the drama queen diva.
