  1. I hope Butch can get all those congrats in his prison cell. Of course Cate is going to retweet Tyler's message. She has to make nice with him or he'll leave her for posting that Nova video and getting the police sicced on them.
  2. Ugh, I did a full-body cringe when I found out he's getting another show. I'm hoping it's just a one-time special or a mini-series and not some kind of ongoing thing. The whole "reuniting adoptees with their birth parents" plot has been done before so he's not exactly breaking new ground. And he really is the worst spokesperson for adoption. Ten bucks that he's only going to feature adoptees who were miserable growing up with their adoptive parents and that their reunion with their birth parents will be nothing but unicorn shit and rainbows. And good call on the impending split. When Tyler first announced he was doing this months ago, he advertised it as his and Catelynn's show like they were doing it together. But now it's his passion project and he's really excited about it. No mention of Cate, no defending her, no nothing. This is the end, my friends.
  3. Eww, I saw that photo of Nova. It seems like Cate and Ty seem to think she's a doll that they can parade about on social media but not actually take care of. I know we have no idea how Carly will react to her adoption when she gets older and understands it better, but C&T's behavior and actions are proving more and more that she really was lucky to be adopted out. Compared to Nova, Carly is practically being raised by royalty. I'm not trying to be snarky. Nova deserves that kind of life and C&T are not providing her with it. They put a diaper on her and feed her crackers from a box and think they're doing a good job. It's a shame. That little girl deserves so much better, especially when you look at the wonderful life her bio-sister gets to have.
  4. So Tyler isn't trying to defend Catelynn on Twitter? No shit. He's probably berating her right now about how stupid she was for posting that video online while she's chewing on her cuticles and crying pitifully on the couch. I wouldn't be surprised if Tyler started distancing himself from her after this debacle. This could be his chance to leave her if he really wanted to---and we all know he wants to.
  5. So according to the "Teen Mom" subreddit, the cops were at Catelynn's house this morning. Some people think it's because of the Nova video. Thoughts?
  6. It makes it even worse that she's trying to excuse herself with that special needs shit. So you have people who are mentally or physically challenged in your family, but it was still okay for you to say "r*****"? Give me a break, chickadee. Honestly, though, I find Cate sharing Nova's naked self with the public even worse than her saying the word "r*****". She also took the second Snapchat down relatively quickly, but left the Nova one up for hours. She has such poor judgment when it comes to this child.
  7. Catelynn's such a frigging moron. Seriously. "Let's post a naked photo of my daughter, then insult the person who reported me because it was inappropriate!" She's not sorry at all for using the word "r*****". She and Tyler are both masters of fanning whatever fire they started, then trying their damnedest to do damage control when they've realized they went too far. Tyler used to do it all the time whenever he insulted Brandon and Teresa, and the fans went after them with pitchforks and torches. And speaking of Brandon and Teresa, does Catelynn not realize they may see this or at least hear about it? Does she not think that this kind of questionable behavior will give them pause and lead them to consider restricting even more access to Carly? Catelynn has already shown herself smoking pot and driving. Now she's pulling this kind of shit. I know C&T only physically see Carly once or twice a year, but I wouldn't blame B&T for not wanting these two trash-heaps being around and influencing their daughter for even a few days.
  8. Remember, though, Tyler is the kind of guy who gloats about seeing "his kid" and how he helped make the adoption happen. Seeing Carly in the flesh might be some kind of a power trip for him. Though the fact that he can't even talk about the visits on TV and social media might put a damper on that.
  9. I can see Cate maybe getting some attention and focus if she and Tyler split because I think people will be interested in seeing her bounce back and be all right without Big Boy constantly looking down his nose at her and berating her. But if they split up, then Tyler will definitely be history. More and more people dislike him these days, and will happily ignore him once he's off the show and no longer relevant. Plus, if he and Cate split, then Tyler can kiss his access to Carly goodbye since Cate is pretty much the only reason why he still gets to see her. He knows Brandon and Teresa don't like him and will drop him like a bad habit if they even get a whiff that he and Cate broke up. I'm sure Cate gets some perks for being one-half of the series's golden couple, but Tyler depends on the fame and relationship moreso than her. He has a lot more to lose if they ever divorce.
  10. Yes, Matt would probably still stay with Amber if she were that heavy as long as she still makes that sweet MTV money. The minute the show is over and the money runs out---and it will run out, at least for these two, because it has before---then he'll hightail it out of there and set his sights on another woman with low self-esteem and cash to burn.
  11. Let's be honest, here; Maci really didn't want to meet Maverick, either.
  12. I don't know if I buy that. It came out a few years ago that Maci was barhopping all over the U.S. and getting drunk as hell with her friends. That was when Bentley was a toddler, so you could argue that she was getting all her partying out of her system. Now she's in her mid-twenties with two more children---one an infant, the other just over a year old---and she's still acting like a young kid just starting to drink for the first time. Her poor liver. Thing must be pickled in Bud Light by now.
  13. Yeah, it's like this electronic typewriter that doesn't have any sort of internet access so you can write without distraction. It also stores your drafts on a Cloud of some sort. Anyway, like I said, I doubt Tyler uses it much. He probably blew his money on it to look like he's so elegant for using a typewriter to compose his crap.
  14. That electronic typewriter that Tyler has...I think they cost, like, five-hundred dollars. I bet you anything that he doesn't use it as much as he wants us to believe. He probably keeps it in the closet and then brings out to take Instagram pictures and act like he's the next Hemingway. The thing about Cate being bored reminds me of a lyric from "Flagpole Sitta". It goes, "Well, if you're bored, then you're boring." And that pretty much sums up both Catelynn and Tyler's lives. They're both so boring. They have all this money, all this time to do whatever it is they want to do, and they're just sitting at home doing nothing. Their lives are so small and minuscule. All of the people in "Teen Mom", with the exception of Farrah, don't do anything. They just move around (but still stay in the same dead-end town), buy electronics and cars they don't need, and just bitch about how bored they are. The world's a lot bigger than your couches, you guys.
  15. When it comes to drinking, Maci and Taylor act like a couple of 21-year-olds who are reveling in the fact that they can legally buy and drink alcohol now and nobody can stop them. I have to admit, my friends and I were the same way when we all turned 21, but we grew out of it rather quickly. Maci and Taylor are, what, 24 or 25? And they're still acting like they're hot-shots for drinking. I don't get it. Then again, they did meet when Maci got sick at a party and Taylor thoughtfully held her hair back while she puked her guts out. Maybe guzzling booze is really one of the only things they have in common. Now, the fact that their beer of choice is Bud Light is just unforgivable. I'm not a beer snob and I love me some domesticated beer, but, c'mon. They have children to think about.
  16. Sarah appeared on "Being Catelynn". I remember that Cate had to give her a talk about using birth control and Sarah was rolling her eyes about going on the Pill because she didn't want to gain weight. At one point, C&T were talking about how tough it was raising a teenager---their words, not mine. And it's like...you're not raising her. Yeah, it's great that they took her in and gave her a place to live, but they weren't raising her. She was already sixteen or seventeen when she moved in. C&T weren't raising anybody.
  17. Didn't Amber admit she never wanted kids? Why is she acting like she wants more? it's so obvious in her demeanor and the way she interacts with Leah that she doesn't have a maternal bone in her body. It was obvious for years, even before her downward spiral. And that's okay. It's okay to admit you're not a motherly person and didn't want kids. It's okay to admit that your ex is the best candidate to raise your daughter and you're both better off if you're the non-custodial parent. I think it's possible to be a good parent even if you're not the one primarily raising your child. But you can't half-ass it, and that's exactly what Amber is doing. She keeps saying she wants Leah full-time, but can't be bothered to do anything with her on their days together. She keeps saying she's going to sue Gary for more custody, but as far as I know, nothing has happened. Girl, just admit you can't handle having a child full-time and let Leah live with Gary and Kristina. It's the best choice for everybody involved.
  18. What about the time Tyler drove Catelynn to tears when he said he would completely risk having the adoption closed so he could talk shit about B&T on camera? Did the producers make him say that nasty shit? Of course they didn't. That was all Tyler because he didn't want to silence his voice even if meant depriving his wife of having a relationship with the child he pressured her to give away. I do love how he says nothing about the producers until he started getting called out this season. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, Tyler. Or do, because I would love to watch you crash and burn.
  19. So I'm pretty late to the game because I haven't watched the last two episodes, but that sneak peek with Larry and Jen was intense as was Larry's comments about Ryan. Something really bad had to have happened because I don't think Larry would say that stuff otherwise. He's said shit about being done with Ryan before, but this reached a whole new level. "I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire"? Damn, dude, that's harsh. I also think he and Jen had a really bad argument over the whole thing before the producer showed up. They were both near tears and there was some considerable distance between them on the couch. Maybe this was in reference to Cat Gate, but this extends way beyond Ryan being a lazy do-nothing. Drugs, thievery...something went down that we may not be privy to know right now. I really feel for Jen because she must feel so conflicted. Ryan may be a cat-killing monster, but he's her cat-killing monster. A mother's love for her child is something that's very hard to ignore or turn off. Larry's comments about Jen needing to move out if she doesn't like what's going on was so uncomfortable. I almost wish that that scene hadn't been filmed because I think it's something that they may come to regret in some time.
  20. Carly comforter, Nova curtains, Tyler throwpillows, the list goes on and on.
  21. Maybe this will come across as insensitive because I don't have children, but...at what point will Maci just accept that Ryan will never be the father she wants him to be for Bentley? Even in the past, when he was trying, she would always find some sort of fault in what he was doing. Just this past season, when Ryan told Bentley about his new bedroom, Maci acted like it was some sort of conspiracy against her and that Ryan totally did it on purpose to get at her instead of just having a regular conversation with his son. Chelsea's the same way with regards to Adam (though he's arguably worse than Ryan). My thing is that Maci has been saying for the past seven years that Ryan will never be the father Bentley needs him to be. So why keep complaining about a moot point? Considering how she's tried to replace him in the past, i wonder if Ryan's relative absence in Bentley's life really bothers her as much as she tries to project on the show.
  22. You might be onto something there. This may be the Mandela Effect kicking in, but I seem to recall that Cate got really anxious when Tyler was going to college and she couldn't go with him because she hadn't graduated high school yet. She seemed pretty nervous that he would be around all these good-looking girls and let them seduce him or something. She's clearly insecure in their relationship and is afraid that Tyler will up and leave her (especially since he's done it before with that ill-advised excursion to New Orleans).
  23. I really can't say whether or not Cate has been abusing harder drugs, but I agree that MTV producers didn't really know she was going away until she announced it a few episodes ago. It seemed like such a sudden decision and I still wonder what happened during that night to make Cate decide to up and leave. As for the rehab not disclosing its name...well, you may be onto something there because I can't think of why the center's name at least wasn't disclosed. The Rx cards bother me, mainly because C&T are acting like everything is fine now that Cate can legally smoke pot. Just because she can lawfully do it now doesn't erase the fact that it was illegal before. It also doesn't erase her toking up while driving since that's still against the law.
  24. I never thought that Tyler was gay, but I have a hard time believing that he's some kind of sex maniac. Especially when he never shows even a second of interest in Cate when they're onscreen. If anything, I can see Cate being the one to demand sex on the regular because she might be one of those girls who equates sex with love.
