  1. Wow, that poor woman. Her life has been absolutely devastated by the person closest to her and her kids aren't even there for her. I can't believe those idiots are siding with Frank considering the overwhelming evidence against him. And to keep insisting how wonderful a guy he is and how he probably only got in trouble due to his kind, generous nature in the light of his philandering and embezzling is just SMH worthy. I hope Nancy has another loving support system and finds peace and happiness.
  2. I have nothing substantive to say about this episode, just three random thoughts: 1) Tommy Merlyn! Yay, glad to see I can watch this actor in something without having to sit through that awful Arrow show. 2) Holy gosh, Josh Jackson looked hot all cowboyed up. 3) What were those sipper top things in the bottles at the party?
  3. Oh yeah, I'm expecting Iris will die at some climatic moment to raise the emotional stakes for Barry and clear the way for Caitlin. Hoping I'm wrong though. I liked Iris and feel like she did have chemistry with Barry.Speaking of Caitlin, it seemed like TPTB wanted their very own version of FitzSimmons from AoS. Sure, the guys are very different, but their purposes in the show are similar and Danielle Panabaker looks so much like Elizabeth Henstridge that I was thrown off everytime she opened her mouth and she didn't have an English accent. On the whole, I really liked this pilot. It was fun.
  4. I love the Mills sisters. That is all.
  5. Like a few others, I gave this show a shot because of Maggie Q. However, I don't think she's quite enough to overcome my dislike of McDermott and Rohm. I hope sometime in the future that she ends up in a show as enjoyable as the first two seasons of Nikita. Minor nitpick: It always makes me roll my eyes when people are able to escape attackers due to ultra fast closing elevator doors. An arthritic sloth could follow me into my work elevator and I swear the Door Close button is attached to nothing.
  6. The coroner on CSI is a double-amputee.
  7. This was the first time I tried to watch this show. I didn't make it past the first five minutes. So, she's a cop and used her status to intimidate her neighbor and lied to get out of taking responsibility for her kids breaking his window. Was I supposed to find that cute or funny? Maybe she ends up doing the right thing later in the episode, but I won't be sticking around to find out. Based on the reviews, I don't feel too bad about this admittedly quick decision.
  8. I think it's weird that they released the pilot early and then made a bunch of changes to it for the actual airing. Eh, neither version was great, but I preferred the first one. As others have said, it was better than I was expecting from the commercials and I do love me some John Cho, so I'm willing to give it some time.
  9. My CBS feed randomly switched to NCIS for a few minutes right in the middle of the broadcast. I had already lost interest, so I took it as a sign and just turned it off. I was so looking forward to this show and actually thought the pilot was fun (though shaky). How disappointing.
  10. Saw the pilot screening at Comic Con. It was fun. Mind you, there were parts that were just ridiculous and the whole thing suffered from pilot-itus (heavy-handed writing, obvious character intros, tons of exposition), but I like the premise and the cast and am willing to give it time to gel. And at least it's ridiculous in a fun way. I really could have done without the Katherine McPhee character and the "the group of geniuses really need a person of average-intelligence to show them the way" trope though.
  11. Whatever other "changes" are in store for the Mountain, I hope one of them is a change of actors. I really didn't like this one.
  12. Aww, I love that Jaime saved Tyrion and that he did it despite all of Cersei's manipulations. Tywin was such a huge presence on this show and Charles Dance was amazing. As big of a bastard as he was, I'm sorry that we lost him. This is the first time I've ever been happy to see Stannis show up. I'm so done with Bran's storyline. I don't really enjoy the more mystical elements of the story. Plus, I hated the way the skeleton zombie things looked and fought. It made me think of the 80's movie "Young Sherlock Holmes" for some reason. Arya is cold.
  13. Nooooo! Crap Oberyn, you were all sexy and badass with your crazy Dornish fighting technique and you just had to ruin it with hubris. And could his death be anymore gruesome?. I can only imagine what my neighbors are thinking right now, because I spent the final two minutes of that scene screaming "Noooo!" through the hands covering my face..
