Did anyone notice that it was two different turtles shown, one in the bush was not the same as the one Steven had.  It bothered me that they walked on roads instead of woods. The SUV tracks in the water in the sand proved there was too many people around to catch anything because of scent.  But watching Steven do his magic was worth the flaws.  He's kind of a big deal you know...

I didn’t notice but in reading through some of the comments on Reddit someone said box turtles are endangered - maybe that was why it was different?

You make a good point with the scarcity of opportunity to find food, they didn’t seem to be too far from civilization.  Those first nights where Jenny was afraid of the coyotes and their howling I was thinking about hearing some of those same noises when I have my windows open overnight during the summer.  When she was talking about her fear I figured she wasn’t long for the challenge.   Then days later when Allison was sounding defeated I’m wondering if Steven wasn’t there to give moral support if she would have tapped as well. 

Of anyone of the legends to do this challenge with 2 newbies he’s one of the few I’d want to see due to his attitude (Max is another one).  Usually I’m not crazy when people toot their own horn a lot but he has proven over and over he is “kind of a big deal”, lol.

I didn't notice that, but I did notice that the time jumped backwards an hour when they were cooking the turtle, eating the turtle, then having a bad rainstorm.

I'm with you.  Steven is my favorite out of all of them.
