SimoneS July 15, 2019 Share July 15, 2019 (edited) This whole Dean drama is over the top and ridiculous, but I can't lie, Melba giving birth to Dean and almost dying had me rolling. I initially thought that they wanted Dean to be a sperm donor. Desna singing Dream Girls to Dean was so inappropriate, but I really liked how supportive Roller and her father were. It is a good plan to launder the governor's money. I hope that it doesn't backfire. It is amazing how Victoria Virginia has grown as a character and is now one of the crew. They love her so much. I hate how Dean treated her. I was glad that Jen apologized to her. So Jen cheated on Bryce with EJ and got herpes. Crazy. I am glad that Arlene is happy about the baby. Hopefully, she and Anne will keep it together and be good parents. I laughed when Desna happily said that they were having a baby. Ohwell July 15, 2019 Share July 15, 2019 (edited) I know many years have passed, but I can't get over seeing how old Glynn Turman is now because to me, he'll always be "Preach" in the movie Cooley High. I'm sick of the focus on Dean and I know he's supposed to be autistic, but I'm also sick of his mannerisms. I did like Desna's leopard print outfit. That's all I've got. That's an iffy song to be singing to your brother. 🙄 I thought she looked fabulous in that gown though. I really liked Polly's blouse in that outdoor scene she had with Roller. It looked like a Lily Pulitzer print. Quiet Ann researches her dick. Sounds like she did a total background check on her accidental baby daddy. Whoa, low blow about Halle Berry out of the blue. Yay for Quiet Ann and her baby. Ken's new girlfriend is something else. She almost makes Polly look like a schoolmarm. Those furry costumes must be really pleasant to wear in Florida humidity. Ugh. In real life, Desna blackmailing a politician would have resulted in her being investigated and her and her crew's criminal activities would have been uncovered. This show has been an escapist goofy OTT guilty pleasure in the past, but this season is losing me. I hate M & M and the whole casino thing. I don't get what many of the side plots are for...UncleDaddy's rehab insurance scam?? Is that bringing in any money? Or doing any actual rehabing? Mahjong??? Who cares! Desna's dad being found after 40+ years and being oh-so cool with meeting his adult kids & wanting to move in with them??? Polly has always been the crazy pants in the crew, but I don't get why she is with the casino dude. Brazenly shaking down store owners and robbing them for a thrill is going to land her back in jail. And I still don't understand how Quiet Ann's cop GF is still involved with her. Didn't GF & her partner try to bust Desna's whole crew?
