The anime movie, The Witcher: Nightmare of The Wolf, gets a release date: Monday August 23, 2021.

A rumor that they have already started writing the script for Season 3 even though there has not been an official announcement that the show has been renewed.

Synopsis for the eight episode Season 2: Convinced that Yennefer’s (Anya Chalotra) life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla (Freya Allan) to the safest place he knows — his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.

Another Witcher series has been commissioned for a younger audience.

Another Witcher animated movie is planned.

There will be a 60-minute special after show for The Witcher Season 2 that will be hosted by Felicia Day. It will be called UNLOCKED and will be on YouTube and Facebook on December 20th at 11AM ET/8AM PT.

The after show will feature the following segments:

Hero's Journey: Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer of Vengerberg), Freya Allan (Princess Cirilla of Cintra) and Joey Batey (Jaskier) discuss their characters' journeys in Season 2.

This album is composed by Joseph Trapanese  and contains three vocal tracks by Joey Batey who plays Jaskier in The Witcher series. The entire soundtrack will be released on streaming platforms on Friday, December 17, 2021.

The CD version of The Witcher Season 2 soundtrack will arrive on February 25, 2022, with the vinyl coming as a double LP gatefold set on July 29, 2022. Fans can pre-order both physical copies of the soundtrack on Amazon.
