When they were house hunting earlier in the series, they found a place with no ghosts (but then decided to stay), so I have no doubt they moved to a ghost-free home.  There's no way she'd just trade ghosts; the whole point was to raise a family without people only she can see/hear being in her ear all the time.  Any ghosts stuck in places she goes to - restaurants, stores, etc. - she'll see (but they don't know she can see them, and she'd probably get pretty good at not letting on [at least for the easy-to-spot-as-ghosts ones], so she wouldn't have to interact), but at home she'll only have her actual child constantly asking stuff of her.

It made all the sense in the world for her to leave - I wasn't sure I bought the ghosts leaping to suggesting it, but her agreeing, yes - but it also made me sad for the ghosts, so I was glad to see she regularly returns to visit.
