SnarkySheep October 22, 2019 Share October 22, 2019 I can't quite decide...is not hearing either way about a renewal for this long a good or bad thing? Link to comment
Aliferously October 26, 2019 Share October 26, 2019 Checked Twitter, didn't find a yes or no answer either. It's been almost four months. I'm going to go with no news=good news. I mean, they can't leave the actors hanging forever either so eventually someone has to pipe up. 1 Link to comment
formerlyfreedom November 2, 2019 Author Share November 2, 2019 ‘The InBetween’ Canceled By NBC After One Season NBC is closing the loop on its new spring-summer 2019 scripted series by cancelling freshman drama The InBetween. The news is not surprising. The InBetween, starring Harriet Dyer, did not debut until after the end of the 2018-19 broadcast season. It was the lowest-rated NBC summer 2019 series in Live+Same Day ratings, something for which delayed viewing bumps could not compensate. The InBetween‘s core creative team already has moved on to another project. In a competitive situation with multiple networks bidding, CBS in September landed with penalty Queens, a police drama from The InBetween creator/executive producer Moira Kirland, executive producer Matt Gross and studio Universal TV, where Gross is under an overall deal. 1 Link to comment
SnarkySheep November 2, 2019 Share November 2, 2019 I had a bad feeling about this one... Really, though, I don't think they were given a fair chance. They were a summer show show, only aired 1 or 2 eps then didn't air for a few weeks, etc. What did they think would happen? 4 Link to comment
Aliferously November 3, 2019 Share November 3, 2019 Just saw an article on Twitter that they averaged 4.1 million viewers. Which doesn't strike me as overly terrible for a summer show. But who am I to judge. I don't know what it is about this show, but it dragged me through a pretty awful summer (surgery, longer recovery then initially estimated). It was by no means a perfect show but I am going to miss it. 4 Link to comment
Paloma November 12, 2019 Share November 12, 2019 My husband and I just discovered this show last week, but only saw the first 4 episodes before it disappeared from Hulu (I think it "expired" on Nov. 10). Does anyone know where else we can see the rest of the season? 1 Link to comment
SnarkySheep January 31, 2020 Share January 31, 2020 Just for fun, I tweeted Harriet Dyer, asking what storylines she thought Season 2 would have explored, had their been one: 1 2 Link to comment
Aliferously February 1, 2020 Share February 1, 2020 Dammit, show. Why couldn't you have been flogged to Netflix or Amazon? 2 Link to comment
Cowgirl March 2, 2020 Share March 2, 2020 What bad news! I agree that they never gave this one much of a chance. Ugh. I really liked it. 1 Link to comment
