Raja January 2 Share January 2 I don't know if it was just added to Amazon Prime but it showed up on my recommendations list. With ads coming to Prime I wonder why it wasn't just on Freevee? It was a broadcast show already set up for ad breaks in its cut. I guess I have a new re-watch during the strike induced drought of content. And a chance to see Reshma Shetty, my breakout actor for the show whose career seems to have stalled. Pilot episode. House meets MacGyver. The visual camera push in style first party scenes at Boris' estate had me flashing to Las Vegas which just started on Peacock. The theme of the little brother bring the big brother back from depression. 2 Link to comment
auntiemel January 21 Share January 21 I've been waiting for Royal Pains to start again somewhere since it disappeared from Peacock. Thanks for the heads up! Link to comment
Raja February 22 Share February 22 It turns out Netflix has it too. All these years later while watching the early seasons with Divya's engagement still you would fully expect the normal TV trope for her and Evan to be a couple by the forth season. 1 Link to comment

Currently re-watching the series and had the same thought! Based on how hard they went with the put-downs it seems like the writers were setting that up and changed their minds. (And because I've forgotten at least 90% of the plot lines, I didn't realize that wouldn't ultimately happen until he gets serious with Paige.) 1 Link to comment
Pristine March 1 Share March 1 (edited) I only have two episodes and I will be done with S5. ETA: I didn't realize S6 was on Netflix. 🙃 Edited March 1 by Pristine Link to comment
giovannif7 March 8 Share March 8 Royal Pains is following in the footsteps of Suits, soaring high on the Netflix streaming chart. I hope the bean counters and studios take notice of the rebounding audience interest in Blue Skies programming! https://tvline.com/ratings/royal-pains-nielsen-streaming-top-10-ranking-1235184745/ 1 Link to comment
Raja March 11 Share March 11 S02:E06 In Vino Veritas. I spent the episode asking myself what happened to patient confidentiality while Hank and Divya were both talking about their patients conditions with others. After it was just after recent Law & Order HIPAA twist topic. But the back story being Hank was taught his MacGyver mindset by his father like Colton on Tracker brought me here today. Link to comment
Raja April 5 Share April 5 Looks like Amazon Prime let the show go, over to Netflix for me. Link to comment
Mindthinkr August 19 Share August 19 Was given this show as a suggestion on Netflix. So far it’s ok, but some of the illnesses are far fetched. Who knew so many diseases could be located in the Hamptons. Link to comment

Since the series normally time skipped and concentrated on the high season even the local resident workers picked up infections from around the world. Link to comment

I thought of that, but some like the obscure disease that can come from the prick of a rose thorn sometimes leave me SMH. Got to give it to the writers though. They keep it interesting. Plus I love how Hank MacGyvers so many things. Link to comment
