S28.E13: LiveBlog The Finale 2014.05.21

Recommended Posts

I'll start. Some people on twitter just pointed out that Tony and Kass weren't seen in the green room while Spencer and Woo were there. Some are thinking that's a sign that Kass and Tony are final two and are isolated from the others.  I can see that. I think Spencer is winning this Final 4 challenge and loses the last challenge as I've suspected for weeks now. The only immunity challenge Tony will win, is the last one. Now watch me be wrong.

Oh gosh.  The one person who was going to make F3 without winning was Kass, and she won.  Fingers crossed Spencer can get Woo and Kass to call Tony's bluff.

I found Kass (2nd row), Spencer (1st row) and Woo (final row) in the green room, but no Tony.  I swear if Tony wins it may ruin the entire season for me. I want Spencer to win, but I'll take ABT.

The moment I read the episode summary about the bitter jury, I knew Tony and Kass would be the Final 2 - on one side are all the people who dislike Kass and on the other side, those who felt betrayed by Tony. If Spencer does leave now which seems a no-brainer, unless Woo wins final immunity he is done because no way either Kass or Tony takes Woo to the end. Yeah Spencer's best chance is to somehow convince Kass and Woo that they have no chance against Tony and call his fake idol bluff.

Tony's light bulb moment was hilarious, but he made the right decision imo. I think what Tony realized is that yes they may gun for him in the end, but Spencer has been one of his biggest challenge threats and it would be too easy for him to win that final immunity. Also, all he has to do to make sure Woo and Kass don't come for him, is to win final immunity.

And if you can't bet on yourself and your abilities, then what's the point? Spencer went down fighting and he made a good case for himself (though that "I'll ask the jury not to vote for me line" was a bit much and even Tasha was like "say what now..") but the fact is his back was against the wall and he needed to win immunity and he didn't when it was in his grasp.

Spencer will be invited back.

Without question.

Also, Morgan, totally has a crush on Spencer which is kind of adorable. Her reactions through many of the tribal councils when he pulled through were always interesting and she looked near tears when he got voted out. Sarah looked bummed and so did Jeremiah but girl had tears in her eyes.

Well, I'm out until next season. I really don't care who wins now. I really wish they'd stop casting stupid, mean people. Srsly.

ETA I find myself not watching the end of the season more and more often. Methinks maybe 'tis time to not watch at all anymore. Their casting gets worse and worse each season, and I find that there are less and less actual likeable people AND fans of the game.

I honestly have no problems with Tony winning...yeah he's annoying but dude played the game and played it hard.

eta: As hard as Tony played though my goodness he sucked at immunity challenges.

Maybe Tony will be better at this puzzle because it's gears

And the answer to that is no...he still sucks.

I just have to say, if Woo takes Tony, he is officially the worst survivor player ever.

Wouldn't it be something if this is finally the time Woo makes the smart choice and then basically exactly what Spencer laid out for Tony, would have happened. Honestly though, either option is a risk for Woo. Yeah people can't stand Kass but she can make a decent case for herself and well Tony has a string of things he can argue he did. But I think the best option is probably voting out Tony.

I can see that the loyalty argument is playing with Woo.

And---Tony was playing a long game sticking with Woo over Spencer.  I think he took Spencer's arguments to heart, but turned them around to win Woo with the loyalty argument.  I think Tony will get Spencer's vote (and maybe all the votes) for saying that.

Right up until the end huh Woo... Well who knows, the jury might be more pissed off at Tony than we think (yeah no...Woo is not getting Tasha, Spencer, LJ or Trish's vote. Kass may vote for him just to spite Tony, who knows where Jefra's head is at, depends on how Sarah feels about Tony and Jeremiah too is a question mark but I think he'll go with Tony).

Oh and I can't wait for the Ponderosa video of Kass' arrival.

Poor Spencer. He looked like he wanted to cry when he came in, sitting on that side of the jury.

Spencer is definitely going to be invited back to play. Thing is he'll either be a Cochran and play a brilliant game and win or Malcolm where he just miscalculates his entire game and becomes a shell of the player he was in his previous season.
