I don't care if you think I'm off base or not. Jordan is not a black man. He doesn't identify as a black man. His experience is not that of an unambiguously black person. And clearly you aren't black since you're comparing apples to oranges and attempting to diminish my valid points by deeming them racist.

You know what they say, when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me. I'll just sum this all up to say, that no one, not me, or methodwriter85, or Scarlett45, if I may be as so bold as to speak for them, is saying that Jordan is not mixed.  We're saying that being mixed does not preclude one from being black or being anything else. In fact, it sort of necessitates it. We're also saying that if he did not present as black, the fans (hopefully just a minority) of this series would not be upset with him being cast as Josh Ambrose. Also, as an aside, one of the reason he presents as black is because black is and has always been a multiracial category despite the way you appear to feel about that.

I thought I'd share this awesome Noah Centineo impression a Youtuber named Benito Skinner is doing. (He does a lot of different celebrities and original characters- think Tracey Ullman in the body of a 25-year old gay man jock.) It is so dead on.

I'm dead. This is so accurate. I hope he does a full sketch for To All The Boys I've Before 2.
