Rick Kitchen March 2, 2015 Share March 2, 2015 I can't believe Ryan Phillippe as a father. He's the wrong actor for this role, I don't care how good he might be. Link to comment
formerlyfreedom March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 I actually am not having a problem buying him as a dad. My only issue is with the older daughter, and the actress is in her 20s, so I think that has more to do with it then anything. I really liked his performance in the first two episodes (run as the two hour premiere). And I wasn't expecting to like or enjoy it, so I'll be sticking around. 1 Link to comment
cooksdelight March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 As long as he keeps drinking milk....or whatever it was....with his shirt off and the camera lingers.... I'm in! 1 Link to comment
memememe76 March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 I always forget how much screen presence Phillippe has. This is probably a one season project, but I hope he does more tv. 1 Link to comment
LeGrandElephant March 5, 2015 Share March 5, 2015 I like RP and the younger daughter. The mom and older daughter seem off to me. Maybe the mom is supposed to seem off. And for the older daughter, I think she seems too old for the whiny teenage part. Anyway, I'm finding myself very sympathetic to RP, but I can't help wondering if they're doing that on purpose and the big twist is that he did it. I do buy him as a father to the younger girl, but I'm not clear how his relationship got so bad with the older daughter. 1 Link to comment
Queena March 8, 2015 Share March 8, 2015 Ryan Philippe is one fine man. Oh my, I'm watching to watch him 2 Link to comment
mansonlamps March 15, 2015 Share March 15, 2015 I can't believe Ryan Phillippe as a father. He's the wrong actor for this role, I don't care how good he might be. But he is a father, why is it hard to believe? I think he's pretty good in this role. Link to comment
Chairperson Meow March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 I like when Ryan runs. I'm shallow like that. Link to comment
Morbs March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 It's distracting to me to take him as a father, and he looks 20 years younger than his wife. It doesn't help that I follow him on Instagram and he talks, dresses, and behaves like someone in their early 20's. Nothing wrong with it - but it's hard. Seth Green playing a dad would have the same effect; it's like how people only want to see Angelina Jolie holding a gun because her looks box her in to certain types of roles. Link to comment
