Aren't they great? I really, really enjoy the Canadian version so much.  The judges are lovely as well, no steely-eyed stares from Bruno either.  Just a pleasant way to spend an hour.

After a couple seasons of Noel and Matt, I’ve gone back to watch some of the seasons with Sandy. Have to admit, I like her much more now than on first watch. I think Matt just doesn’t work on the show

Mel and Sue were the PERFECT pair for hosting a show like this.  And they saw part of their job as protectors of the bakers, not just funny commenters.  I think they've tried to keep the "pairs" theme
