I'm not even certain yet which story line I'll be voting for as my winner; I certainly don't presume to know what other forum members are thinking of voting for and I don't think you should either.

You're right and I didn't really mean it the way it came out.  I especially shouldn't have tried for the same joke twice.

Budget crisis and Congressional censure are gone. The shooting stuff has been combined.

Vote against 1 with a tiebreaker as well.

1) Jed's MS (ongoing throughout the seasons)

2) Zoey's kidnapping (Season 4, 5)

7) Bartlet's Re-election campaign (Season 3)

10) Rosslyn shooting and Aftermath (Season 1,2)

17) Leo's Addictions and the investigation of those addictions  (Seasons 1,3)

Jed's MS - because the specific MS-related stories I like were mostly enumerated separately, so if this is just him having MS, it's about time for it to go off my list

Tie-breaker: Zoey's kidnapping (started out great, and then - not)

Link to comment

Jed's MS is gone!

Vote against 1 and then rank the remaining options, best to worst, to be used in case of tie!

2) Zoey's kidnapping (Season 4, 5)

7) Bartlet's Re-election campaign (Season 3)

10) Rosslyn shooting and Aftermath (Season 1,2)

17) Leo's Addictions and the investigation of those addictions  (Seasons 1,3)

Zoey's Kidnapping is gone.

Again, vote against one and rank the remaining two please!

7) Bartlet's Re-election campaign (Season 3)

10) Rosslyn shooting and Aftermath (Season 1,2)

17) Leo's Addictions and the investigation of those addictions  (Seasons 1,3)

Voting against:

Leo's addictions

Best to worst:

1. Bartlet's re-election campaign

2.  Rosslyn shooting and aftermath.

I've actually flip-flopped my #1 & #2 since the last round.  Yes, ITSOTG is magnificent but in truth, I was never that crazy about Josh's PTSD story line (although, it gave us Yo Yo Ma!)  The re-election campaign is just SO much meatier overall IMO.

And our finalists are:

7) Bartlet's Re-election campaign (Season 3)

10) Rosslyn shooting and Aftermath (Season 1,2)

Vote for one TO WIN.

Most memorable scenes?  For example:

Jed gives Charlie the Paul Revere knife.

Jed rails at God in Latin at the National Cathedral.

Of course, that could end up being the game with the highest number of nominees ever!

I was thinking maybe something like this.  Per season or whole series?

20) Toby warns CJ about Lord John Marbury - Lord John Marbury

My votes:

Father Cavanaugh's story

The panic button scene

Bartlet embarrasses Hoynes

Sorry, I mixed up two because there was overlap. We lost internet connection three times while I was cimpliling the list from the suggestions and google. :) I’ll edit.

Wow, tough list.  Thanks for putting it together.

Leo tells Jed he'll lead an army against him

Josh meets Joey Lucas.

Jed decides not to stay the execution

Question about Jed embarrassing Hoynes - is it just the first scene? or is it also the follow-up between them in the oval office?  If it's just the cabinet scene, I'd like to vote for it rather than Jed not staying the execution

Bartlet embarrasses Hoynes is eliminated, as well as Father Cavanaugh's story and CJ does the Jackal.
