View the full article This encapsulates my feelings about the show (I'm a little ahead of this episode in my own watching). I'll see how it ends at least through season 5, but it's kind of being "Dextered" for me, where the show's creators seemed to forget we love to watch the Underwoods, but we don't love them. Seeing them escape out of every possible danger with nary a scratch gets kind of boring, and suggests a writing crew that lost sight of the big picture. As I said frequently during season 4, when this show is called "House of Cards" it should ensure two things: They should have wrapped it up in 4 seasons, of 13 episodes each, just for the obvious symmetry. Ah well, too late now... I don't yet know how season 5 ends, or if there will be a season 6, but a show called "House of Cards" by necessity needs to at some point have the house of cards actually fall down. 17 hours ago, swimmyfish said: My apologies if this is too off topic, but what are the troubling politics of ownership for House Of Cards? Yeah, I'm not sure either? Is it in reference to the production company/creators, or to Netflix itself? 4 Link to comment
knaankos June 3, 2017 Share June 3, 2017 Can you imagine if a candidate in real life did 24 hours of Skype questions? I feel like it would be nothing but pure trolling 7 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo July 10, 2017 Share July 10, 2017 The live Q&A without any delay or question vetting was one of the most unrealistic things I've seen on a show that is regularly part fantasy. Loved that LeAnn was behind the rescued guy's brother calling in though. 2 Link to comment

Just watched this episode and this season isn't doing it for me so far. Link to comment
Hanahope December 1, 2017 Share December 1, 2017 Yeah, so presumably Conway didn't really rescue the guy. So...what, he was the pilot and another guy did the rescue, but just before they made it back onto the helicopter, the rescue guy got shot and Conway took all the glory? I guess. Frankly, I can't be surprised at anything the Underwoods get away with, considering....but it does seem like they come up with so much that is being handled/known by so few does seem rather amazing.
