My votes: Cinnamon's Wake, Help Wanted (Richard and Lorelai bonding is really nice, but the ridiculously over-the-top reaction to Rory's minor car accident and Jess's role in it drives me all kinds of crazy!) and Happy Birthday Baby

I was never a big Poes fan, but I'm so surprised to see it cut so early!  I always had the impression it was a favorite among many fans, and I think I dimly recall it finishing near the very top when we played this over on another board. These little surprises keep things interesting...so feel free to surprise me by keeping my beloved The Third Lorelai around a little longer ;) (Just kidding, of course...I know I'm nearly alone in loving that episode and am just pleasantly surprised that it's made it this far!)

Richard in Stars Hollow, Dear Emily and Richard

 

(It's so hard to vote out the ones that have scenes in them you just love--even if most of the episode you don't love. In DEAR I love the scene in the diner so much with Lorelai going nuts over Nicole being allowed to use her cell phone...and actually, ridiculous as it is, I do like the scene where Lorelai gets Sherry to stop working and stop squatting...but not enough to save the whole episode.)

Richard in Stars Hollow is history (I'm still shocked it lasted longer than Run Away Little Boy!), but we have a two-way tie for that second spot between Teach me Tonight and Help Wanted. Just vote for the one of those two you most want eliminated! 

 

My vote: Help Wanted (TMT has some absolutely amazing scenes...it also has scenes that I need to skip for the sake of my blood pressure, but for me at its best it's a touch better than HW!)

My votes: Deer Hunters (I really like it, but there's too much Max for me to keep it around above the others that remain!) and Nick and Nora (because while this episode has some terrific scenes, I really cannot stand Luke in parts of this episode and, in typical GG fashion, they went a bit too far with Jess's jerkiness in establishing him as the 'rebel bad boy')

Deer Hunters (I love Rory's rant, especially when she turns on Paris and Tristan, but don't like a lot of the rest of it)

Me too!!! And it's one of those episodes I most changed my mind about: I used to LOVE it madly, and now I'm weirdly meh on it, at least by my high S2-S3 standards. Which parts annoy you?!
