We enjoyed the Doan Gang episode last night, as lifelong residents of eastern PA.  We've even been to the Doan distillery tasting room in Quakertown (EU showed a brief flash of their chalkboard menu in the episode).  I've got several of their Quakerades in the fridge; one might go down nicely this evening :)  I think we're going to make a field trip to the Mercer Museum to see the Doan Gang exhibit.

I enjoyed the episode as a resident of that area of PA, but I'd never heard of the Doan gang. I wish there had been more of a payoff in the end though, when the episode ended, it felt extremely abrupt (I've never watched the show before and only tuned in to see my local area). All that cliff diving and then just "boom, show's over."

Couldn't find the Expedition Bigfoot title, but having watched a number of these reality Bigfoot series, why don't the team lay out about a thousand game cameras all over the wooded acreage they are searching through that have had  many Bigfoot sightings?????  I'm so sick of these shows that continue with so much stupid, "did you hear that ?" crap with are their instruments and guages etc....

Not a bad idea.  Although I'm sure I've seen game cameras used on shows such as this centered on Bigfoot, I don't think I've ever seen a thousand, lol.  I developed a similar attitude as you toward watching ghost shows.  And a "What was that!?" would always be followed by a commercial.  I just couldn't take it anymore.

That's why I rarely watch Expedition X, because it's always focused on haunted places.  I especially can't stand the EVP sessions, watching people ask questions to the air:  "Is there a presence here?  Are you happy here?".

I still watch Expedition X, but I don’t why because that bothers me too! The new lady, Heather, is worse than Jess when it comes to freaking out over any little thing that happens. And all the tools they use are just ridiculous, especially the box that says random words. And why do they go to foreign places but then ask the “ghosts” questions in English? Even Phil has been less skeptical recently. I’m assuming he’s just playing a role and going along with the narrative but I would like it much better if they researched spooky mysteries to try to find a logical explanation.

Maybe they have Duolingo in the afterlife?

By the way, I meant to say that Expedition X is usually about haunted places, not always.  I will still watch the occasional episode if it's on a topic that sounds interesting, but those are few and far between.  And definitely not the ghost shows.
