Lady Calypso December 9, 2016 Share December 9, 2016 I guess the theme of this season is going to be if you keep pushing and pushing, eventually, the person you like will cave and give in to you. With Jackson's pushing with Lola, Jimmy's pushing with Stephanie, and Fernando's pushing to be part of the family by stealing DJ's stuff and invading everyone's space I have a feeling that there's a wrong message being sent toward kids. There's a difference between confidence and being disrespectful and ignoring people's personal space. I just don't like the message being implied here with the girls having to like the guys who are into them, or else they're in the wrong. I was bugged by Kimmy telling Lola that she was responsible for telling Jackson not to play football because he was just doing it for her. That being said, at least the Jimmy/Stephanie romance isn't totally bad. It grew on me by the end of the episode. Stephanie's great. I loved her amusement to DJ's date with Mike. "Mike here" got annoying pretty much on the second time he said it. Although Candace's deliver of "DJ here. Nobody cares" was pretty good. Fernando is the worst. What a disrespectful man. Faux Ashton Kutcher has some acting chops, I'll give him that. Maybe I'll laugh at the next episode? 3 Link to comment

methodwriter85 December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 (edited) Quote Faux Ashton Kutcher has some acting chops, I'll give him that. Before this, he was best known for a somewhat small role he had in a movie called the Perks of Being a Wallflower. I always thought it was a kind of a shame he didn't really get a career boost from the movie like a lot of other cast members did. I pretty much lost at at DJ being set up on a date with Jason Seaver. Edited December 10, 2016 by methodwriter85 2 2 Link to comment
MaggieG December 11, 2016 Share December 11, 2016 I cracked up at the end when Mike was getting in the wrong car and DJ was trying to stop him and then just gave up 3 Link to comment

readster December 15, 2016 Share December 15, 2016 (edited) I know. The episode now takes on more meaning and even considering that Candace knew him so well since she visited the set regularly of Growing Pains when Kirk was on the series. I remember she said that Alan was like the fun uncle in her life. This was probably very hard for her to watch now, not to mention Bob Saget was friends with him.
