Hints:

I'm thinking of a specific conversation at a FND.  All four Gilmore take part in the conversation.  The topic is something that seems almost throw-away but comes up again later in the season (yay for continuity!).  There is one line, spoken by Lorelai, which makes this scene one that I love for a very specific reason, which I will explain once it's guessed.

Yes!  Specifically about the classes.  This is why I love it -

RORY: I like to be busy.

RICHARD: Idle hands are the devil's playthings.

LORELAI: That's actually the title of one of her classes.

RORY: Please don't worry about me.

LORELAI: She says to the mother and the grandmother.

This is one of the few (only?) times which I can remember Lorelai casually making reference to Emily having just as much of a right to be concerned about Rory's life as she does, without being coerced into it or acting like she deserves some sort of trophy for it.

It's the simple things that please me.  LOL.

Paging ASF, If you're around, and remember which scene you were thinking of!   :-)

(waving hello to all, having myself just gotten back from a week at the beach...)

I shall host, and as such, I invite any lurkers out there to take the plunge and join in! The game is fun, and we'll be nice and welcoming, won't we Taryn?  :-)

I'm thinking of a character....

(Apologies for being AWOL -- home and work have simultaneously gone nuts, leaving me not nearly enough time for my various GG fixes!)

Character:
Named
Only seen in one episode
Male
Rory's generation
Seen during the Yale years
No classes with Rory
Did not work at YDN
Not seen at Yale
Not the tree guy

Rory interacts with him, very briefly

It's Andy!

"Then it would be Assistant Pastor Eric!"

Played by the awesome Rami Malek, who I know from his intense work as a WWII soldier in The Pacific and his funny turn in Larry Crowne as a community college student.

Sorry that took so long! I keep thinking my life will go back to normal and it keeps not happening....

Gaps aside, one of the things I like about this particular game is it's unpredictable what will be hard and what will be easy.  In any case, kudos to you!
