meep.meep August 11, 2016 Share August 11, 2016 I don't hate it, but I like Rear Window and Psycho better. I wish they'd shown more of Truffaut's stuff. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/46294-hitchcocktruffaut/#findComment-2477269
biakbiak August 31, 2016 Share August 31, 2016 I could literally listen to Scorsese talking about film forever. He explains the complexity of shots, the performances, context both cinematic and historic and everything (on his own films he remembers the dishes served by craft service.) in a way that makes me see not only that film in a new way but for several months many films in different ways. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/46294-hitchcocktruffaut/#findComment-2528091

CherryMalotte October 10, 2016 Share October 10, 2016 I always feel I'm about to lose my Hitchcock fan card when I confess to hating Vertigo. Not by me - I hate it. And while it's crept into the top spot of film lists, I just can't see why. The only good thing in the film is the art/production design. It's pretty to look at but a mess of a script/plot/direction/acting combined. No thank you. Loved the documentary though, I'd been putting off seeing it because I thought it might be some dry bone interviews but found it really engrossing. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/46294-hitchcocktruffaut/#findComment-2637140
