So there's a rumor that this show may not be done just yet.  Apparently Hulu has shown some interest, and an interview conducted by the Set Decorator Society of America (SDSA) International with the show's set designers dropped this little bomblet at the very end of its update on the original interview:

SET DECOR: What surprised you about the show?
 
Bolder: We had been told this was it, this is the grand finale for the fans. The big wrap up. Don’t keep anything, return everything.  
As we were starting to wrap the permanent sets, the word came around… fold and hold. 
TIMELESS isn’t done yet?
That’s the mystery.

Hulu's show budgets look to be in the mid 4 figures, so I'm a little dubious.
