Tara Ariano April 22, 2016 Share April 22, 2016 Jane works extra shifts to make more money, but she misses Mateo. Meanwhile, Jane and Rafael hire a mediator to help them with custody arrangements; Xo gets cast on Rogelio's telenovela; and a newspaper runs a story on Michael's link to Sin Rostro. Link to comment
Gin and Tonic April 26, 2016 Share April 26, 2016 Michael working for Rogelio is basically my wish come true. I suspect Rogelio feels the same. 3 Link to comment

elle April 26, 2016 Share April 26, 2016 I love all the 20s fashions! And as much as I do love Jane's dress, it is Petra who is smoking hot in that white suit. Link to comment

Lady Calypso April 27, 2016 Share April 27, 2016 I had more thoughts to say when I watched the episode, but since that's been over a day, I'll just summarize them quickly. I guess I understand why Rafael and Jane didn't have a proper custody agreement until now (both seemed comfortable with their arrangement of Jane being the primary caregiver) but it's been almost a year, and they're finally getting into problems. I'm glad they're working things out, as I was on Rafael's side. Jane has had Mateo a LOT. She hasn't had to deal with more than a day without Mateo, it seems. I think this will be good to help her relax and let go a little bit. It's better to deal with this problem now, it seems. I worry about the back and forth with the triangle, though. Mateo's going to have to deal with his parents being separated but when the triangle flares up, I'll bet he will be hit with living with both of his parents and it'll be a hard adjustment. Stop with the anvils of Michael's death, show! It's why I'm becoming more and more convinced he won't die, but they'll make us think that until the season 3 premiere, at earliest. Now is he going to be protecting Rafael or Rogelio when this goes down at the wedding? Or will Sin Rostro be targeting him specifically? And yes, I do think she could still be alive. Also, Michael's fired from his job. Is it for good? And will we see Luisa and Susanna again? The silent movie gag was cute. Great, Petra's twin is going to possibly get Jane fired. Link to comment
pbutler111 July 13, 2016 Share July 13, 2016 I know this is hardly a reality-based show, but even for a comedic soap I find it too much of a stretch that Anezka, a woman who can't quite grasp the subtleties of smiling at customers, could somehow divine the subtleties of the American university system enough to figure out that Jane posting an ad in her college newspaper would likely get her fired from her job. I mean, how did Anezka even know that John went to that university? Or worked as a TA? Let alone figure out how to go to the website and post an ad. Of all the unbelievable things I've happily swallowed from this show, this one really stuck in my craw. 1 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo September 30, 2016 Share September 30, 2016 I loved all the 20s costumes and silent acting - everyone looked so glamorous! I am glad that Xiomara is handling both being fired from the show and knowing that Rogelio is sleeping with Dina so gracefully and maturely. I don't think that Rogelio would able to deal with the situation as well if their roles were reversed. But I thought it was very sweet that he didn't hesitate to hire Xiomara for that role. You'd think anyone could stand in one spot and say one line, but apparently not. It's about time that Jane and Rafael hammered out a more structured custody agreement. It's only going to get more complicated as he gets older (I hope the mediator brought up things like where he will attend school if Jane and Rafael don't live in the same district in the future). But what I hated was the way Rafael brought it up with all of his condescending "you're a hysterical woman" bullshit. First he said, "I want to say something but I don't want you to get mad." Look, Rafael is allowed to feel however he feels and to share those feelings with Jane, but that doesn't mean he gets to dictate her reaction or shame her for the way that she reacts. When she essentially told him that, he said that he didn't want her to "spin out," implying that she OVERreacts and turns molehills into mountains. Seriously, STFU, Rafael. I hate that Anezka's role seems to have been created so that the writers can still have Evil Petra around without actually having Petra do any of the evil stuff. I want to hear more about Michael working as Rogelio's new chief of security. Did Rogelio come up with this job for him? Did Michael suggest it? I love that this means we will get more Michael/Rogelio scenes! Ugh, Derek is such a douchebag. I can't stand his stupid hipster scarf. The fact that he's always wearing a blazer when it's obviously hot since they're in Miami just makes me want to punch him in the face. Link to comment
