S06.E14: JoJo Steals the Show Show

She has an ego that doesn't stop and is demanding, arrogant, and condescending.  She barks orders at production personnel just like we've seen her to the dancers.  She'll do things like snap her fingers instead of making a request.  She yells at people and throws temper tantrums and is generally a mess.  The people I've talked to who have actually worked with her said she does put on an act with the girls at times, but they viewed it as an exception rather than her normal.

Abby is that bad according to people who have had to work with her outside her own studio. I've been told her worst behavior hasn't made it to the shows.

That's strange, I've heard mostly the opposite. A lot of people say she's much more caring towards the girls than what is shown on tv, and that she has a good sense of humor/makes fun of herself a lot.

Maybe she is both?  We've seen her be incredibly rude to production/staff, so I can see where that would be true.  But I've also seen her be nice to the girls....almost subconsciously.  Little things that I don't think she would fake.  A little side hug here, a little pet of head, or playful tug on the ponytail there, or a softer tone sometimes.  I do so disagree with so much of what Abby does, but when I see those things I figure she may have a kind heart under all that stone.  And I think she only does it with certain girls....I've seen it with Kilani, Nia, Maddie, Mackenzie, and even sometimes Jojo.  Almost never with Kendall, and not really with Brynn.
