Bastet February 24, 2016 Share February 24, 2016 In the history of television, has there ever been anyone who tried on someone else’s ring and didn’t get it stuck? That body looked – and smelled, judging by their lack of reaction – pretty good for five days. Silly as it was, Jane’s “How do you propose … we engage this guy … I’m not married to the idea” made me smile. There’s still something a bit sketchy to me about the Korsak/Kiki relationship, but since we’ve seen so little of it and all the characters who are in the know are happy for him, whatever. “I heard that – Were there spiders?” Hee. I wanted to see more of the fear chamber, because what they did show was pretty lame. More like Roseanne’s Halloween pranks than something you’d pay $100 for (and pee your pants over). The actor playing the guy who runs it did a good job, especially his face when Frankie pulled out his badge. I don’t understand 3D printers; it’s something I keep meaning to look into so that I can understand it, but haven’t yet. Maura knows any number of esoteric facts, but has to look up PTSD? The cat opted to interrupt me for the five minutes or so that included when they got the bad guy – the guy with the restraining order, right? So no real overall thoughts on the case as I don’t know how it was resolved. 3 Link to comment
craziness February 25, 2016 Share February 25, 2016 (edited) Hmmmm, only one comment so far...well, here's my take. What was up with the girl selling fake raffle tickets? If she's going to sell fake raffle tickets to a bunch of people in the same location, she needs to at least be consistent. Then skip a couple days, lie about a winner, and sell new fake tickets. Also, who was her mother (Charlotte? ), have we ever seen her before????? Since she reminds Angela so much of young Jane, maybe something will happen to Charlotte, and Jane will have to adopt her (and give her a dog). As for the crime of the week, I have no clue how they actually solved the crime. Just because the preschool (?) Has a 3D printer, that means the guy was going to come back that night? I'm confused. ETA:I wonder about Jame moving into a townhouse a block from Maura's house. I assume they will drag the "someone is after Jane" storyline out to the season finale. It's nice that Holiday gets to be involved. Edited February 25, 2016 by craziness Link to comment

Scammer kid needed a good swift kick. Edited February 25, 2016 by Trey Link to comment

They didn't know he was coming back that night, but the suspect had access to a computer with the second invite, a 3d printer like the one used to make the murder weapon, and a motive. So they were pretty sure they had the right guy, and that he was going to come after preschool lady again. Because it's TV, he attacked seconds before they arrived to put her in protective custody. Given that the fact that the scare people using a metal detector was a plot point, why wasn't the first employee Frankie met the person running the metal detector? How about Angela moves to the townhouse, and Maura and Jane just live together like they really should? Shipping aside, given how much Jane wanted to "run security" for Maura last week, you'd think she would have proposed that. But then, we wouldn't have a way to shoehorn Angela into every story, disappointing nobody. Edited February 25, 2016 by Latverian Diplomat 2 Link to comment
LVmom February 25, 2016 Share February 25, 2016 I really hate to say this, because it is so cliche, but I do not want Korsak to end up with Kiki, I want him with Angela. The actors have good chemistry. 2 Link to comment
andromeda331 February 26, 2016 Share February 26, 2016 The kid running the raffle scams was Angie Harmon's daughter, Avery. It was? That's kind of cool. And now the comments about how she was a younger version of Jane make more sense. They confused me because I never saw younger Jane being a scam artist. She's a cute kid. 2 Link to comment

shapeshifter February 26, 2016 Share February 26, 2016 The kid running the raffle scams was Angie Harmon's daughter, Avery. That explains her stunning beauty--which was how I figured she managed to scam them all. Link to comment
