Illegal pet ferrets are leaking into California, and the lieutenant could not be sicker about it. Tribeca and Geils follow a trail that naturally leads them to a high stakes poker game. The only problem? The Fish & Game Division is claiming jurisdiction.

This is my favorite episode so far. I love that they blurred the "ferret teats" and that they had $50,000 in the swear jar. Also, and I realize this is extremely childish of me: "This is my bust!" I also finally started liking "Dr Scholl" when she stole the ferret and replaced it with pop tarts while the fish and game nemesis was walking.

 

The fingerprint effect in the credits never fails to amuse me.

The scream is what never fails to crack me up, along with the cop who barfs at every crime scene no matter what.

I love that stuff, too! It's hard to narrow down the best parts to just a few.

The opening is awesome.  The only thing that might make it better is a catchy theme song, but it is virtually perfect as-is.

 

I liked all the fancy finger work with the poker chips.  Too funny.

This is my favorite episode of the first season. Nearly every second has a joke. Love Lori Partridge, and everything about that poker game was amazing. Really too many great jokes to even list.

I wish they would do more followup when they namedrop. Would it have killed the budget to see a school bus in the background when Lori was leaving?
