A Boston Gal November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 Michael and Colin have found their groove I think. They've definitely gotten better IMO. And it helps when the director puts them in the same shot. Finally, they have each other to play off of on camera, as opposed to reacting to just each other's voices. Why in the world it didn't occur to anyone to do this earlier is mystifying. 3 Link to comment
DollEyes November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 I'm betting [Matthew McConaguhey's] monologue will be him trying to play off being left off of People's Sexiest Men List, but being secretly bitter about it. He's on the list, in the section asking previous "SMA" winners about what's the sexiest thing they do around the house, or something like that. Link to comment

JTMacc99 November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 I thought this was a pretty good episode! There were a few moments that were just plain old funny and I felt the energy from the cast. I'll probably go back and re-watch to give examples. I got a kick out of the train meeting for some reason as MM went along and was more ridiculous with each statement. And the whole "nice rack" and Cecily's reaction was funny. The contemporary music I listen to has somehow worked around Adele (they don't play a lot of her on Disney Radio for example), so I found myself trying to place her in music I do know and enjoy. I stopped trying to do that when I got to Stevie Nicks. Obviously different, but I think I get some of the same emotions coming through their voices. Link to comment

I know people always love the corrections, but Bobby is hands down my favorite thing about those Fox News sketches. He's just so gleefully obtuse in all of them. 2 Link to comment

I feel Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" and "When We Were Young" have a similar vibe. It's funny seeing different tweets about the Adele sketch. Some say it's a great way to silence bigoted relatives at Thanksgiving, and others a great way to shut up liberal relatives who always start arguments! Looking at the sketch it is actually evenhanded. Yeah, Aidy's aunt character is horribly ignorant but Cecily's character could also take it down a notch. It's a family dinner not a campus debate.
