Eric85 November 4, 2015 Share November 4, 2015 She's unappreciated, underrated and can take care of herself and others. Don't know why she doesn't have a topic thread or it took so long but here we go: I never really cared for her when she first arrived in S4 but she definitely stepped up last season and continues to be a really useful member of CDB. I loved that she'll die for anyone in the group, and that she shows great courage and determination during times when shit hits the fan. Though I don't like the fact that the writers never seem to do anything with her which is a damn shame. Anyways, feel free to change the thread title. 4 Link to comment
AngelaHunter November 4, 2015 Share November 4, 2015 (edited) QuoteI never really cared for her when she first arrived in S4 I felt the same way. She looked, to me, like a silly cartoon plunked down for titillation purposes but now I like her. At this point, I like her a lot better than I do Maggie. ETA: She deserves someone much better than Abe, who referred to her as "some ass." Edited November 4, 2015 by AngelaHunter 7 Link to comment

We don't see nearly enough of her on the show - I need more titillation! *giggles again* (sorry). Not to derail the thread in to other non-relevant things, but I said in the 'Sasha' thread that instead of "Richonne"; I'd personally prefer Rick/Sasha or Rick/Rosita - not that I watch TWD for shipping purposes, but from a 'if had a choice' or 'could choose relationships' viewpoint. Yeah, I think the general first impression was "here's a little something-something for the fanboys" - but IMHO Christian Serratos took what little she was initially given and played it well enough that of the latest new crop of CDBs inductees, I think Rosita has the best potential to become a full-fledged contributing member. 4 Link to comment

Eric85 November 9, 2015 Author Share November 9, 2015 Don't like at all that Rosita is crying for Abe being missing and yet that scene is all about Spencer...wtf. Hell that whole episode felt the same way. Not cool Gimple. The whole main cast pushed to the side for these ASZ red-shirts. 2 Link to comment

Well, as long as they are judicious in using them too. Glenn went through that whole box of condoms in one go [back in s2] - betting the one 'false start' we were clued in on wasn't the only one. And Lori, being the paragon of virtue & conserving important items, swallowed basically that whole box of "morning after" pills and then promptly wasted them about 5-10 minutes later when she forced herself to puke them back up. Regarding birth control, I'm pretty sure most American women of childbearing age are well aware double-dosing on birth control doesn't offer twice the protection. Assuming, of course, they aren't named Lori. 2 Link to comment
AngelaHunter November 11, 2015 Share November 11, 2015 Quoteswallowed basically that whole box of "morning after" pills And who didn't love the box labelled "MORNING AFTER PILL" in giant letters, just in case we dullards didn't catch on? Yeah, I hope Rosita is using something. We don't need another baby, especially a little "Hellboy." 1 Link to comment
Eric85 November 11, 2015 Author Share November 11, 2015 Nah I'm thinking Rosita doesn't have a bun in the oven. Though I agree with others that she deserves someone much better than Abe. Shit, looking back at "Us" the way he screamed at her for stoping the car due to Eugene's need to help Glenn and Tara out. That was awful but I guess she's used to it. Link to comment
JBody November 11, 2015 Share November 11, 2015 This has to be the grossest title of any survivor thread. It squicks me the eff out. Rosita is still a cypher to me. She had better not get too close to Spencer though. He will definitely walk over her dead body for a sleeve of crackers. 3 Link to comment

He also practically threatened to kill her when baby didn't want to drink his bottle, after the Eugene reveal. Maggie had to threaten to put him down. They are a terrible couple. But she doesn't deserve getting stuck with Spencer as a replacement. 2 Link to comment

It gives me visuals that no sane person should have to endure. Yeah, Abe is a pig, but I agree Rosita doesn't need a big, whiny Momma's boy like Spencer. 1 Link to comment
Eric85 November 12, 2015 Author Share November 12, 2015 She should just run solo and join the Girl Power Squad with Michonne and Sasha. Those two seem to be handling it pretty good so far. As for Spencer, there's really no woman in CDB he could handle. 3 Link to comment

iRarelyWatchTV36 November 16, 2015 Share November 16, 2015 After all we've been presented with here very recently, and as much as I don't want any more pregnancies on this show... I hope when Abraham comes back and breaks it off with Rosita, for Sasha, she 'lowers the boom' with the bombshell that she, too, is pregnant. Make Abe look even bigger a douche by leaving her just because he's jonesing for someone else. Would help explain the tears too, if it wasn't just her worried for and missing him, but added realization that he doesn't/didn't know before leaving. 1 Link to comment
rab01 November 16, 2015 Share November 16, 2015 iRWTV, I like the snark but I am so hoping for the opposite of this -- I'm hoping for Maggie to have an early miscarriage because I really don't trust what the writers will do with her character. As for Rosita, I would say that I like her but I don't -- I just like the actress. The character barely exists on the Show. Breaking up with Abe might finally free whatever block the writers have about her character. 1 Link to comment
RedheadZombie November 16, 2015 Share November 16, 2015 I don't know, I've always thought Rosita and Abraham were more fuck buddies than anything else. When he lost it in the Abe-centric episode, Rosita pulled a gun on him and showed absolutely no mercy. No true love there. I think she was tearing up over Abe/Sasha/Glenn/Daryl being missing more than the potential loss of her lover. I feel there's much more chemistry between Abe/Sasha than Abe/Rosita, and the age difference isn't as extreme. Perhaps Abe/Rosita are more like Andrea/Shane - mutual respect and scratching an itch. Nashville November 16, 2015 Share November 16, 2015 Unfortunately, the vibe I get off an Abraham/Sasha hookup would be two people at an AA meeting buddying up, then falling off the wagon together - and that crash is about guaranteed to be uuuuuuuuugly, and messy. And I don't want want any characters I actually care about to get caught in the wreckage. 4 Link to comment
Eric85 November 17, 2015 Author Share November 17, 2015 I think Abe going after Sasha is the best thing to happen for Rosita. Hopefully it means more back story for her, less Spencer scenes would be nice too. Well none actually. I just hope that after the break up, the writers don't make her angry then stupid...we all heard Michonne's speech on what happens next. We don't need another Andrea situation. 3 Link to comment

Abe was threatening Rosita, and MAGGIE pulled a gun on him and said she'd drop him where he stood. So the big bully/baby backed down. But I think that dampened relationship, or at least I hope so. I guess we won't know why Rosita was crying, because they didn't tell us in favor of discussing Spencer's world. 2 Link to comment
Eric85 March 9, 2016 Author Share March 9, 2016 (edited) My girlfriend got a real kick from Rosita insulting Morgan in Spanish, kinda reminded me of S4 when Eugene purposely led her to go back and rescue Glenn and Tara. Also, she really loved Rick asking Gabriel why he still wearing his FPP clothes. Anyways, I feel for this girl. Abe treating her like trash and putting her to the curb like that was beyond cold. This whole thing could have AND should have been settled in one episode. Here's my take on this: I would start the season with Rosita, Abe and Sasha leading the Walker horde away from Alexandria. Have Rosita and Abe talk about their failing relationship with Sasha driving the car all quiet and awkward about it. Then in "Always Accountable" have Abe take Daryl's spot with him dealing with the idiots in the forest. Meanwhile, the ladies can find the building and discuss the relationship issues, they can also find the rocket launcher as well. And for good measure, have Rosita playfully hit on Sasha ;) Then later on, Abe comes back with the Pattywagon. He confronts Rosita that it isn't working anymore and that's all. No crying, no bullshit, just moving on. At the end, Abe goes to Sasha and tells his stupid feelings to her in which she rejects him anyway. And just to fuck with his head, have the ladies kiss each other instead......which back in Alexandria causes Eugene's head to explode. The end. But if the writers are doing this to kill off Abe then fuck it. Hopefully Rosita survives the season. It would be a massive fuck you to the character if they kill her off like nothing at all. *Edit because English is awesome* Edited March 10, 2016 by Eric85 2 Link to comment
