I actually like Lisa Kudrow (even if I kind of disliked Phoebe), and Taylor Swift at least has some respect from me for often being audacious. But this really crosses the line into too self-consciously "hip" (a term that in itself is now kind of lame), and it's one of Taylor's most annoying qualities that she basically goes around flaunting her celebrity connections at every turn. She just needs to go back to doing her thing WITHOUT having to pull out endless guest stars for every video, concert (heck, she even gets photographed going to dinner and there's always some other celeb along with her). Now it's natural that like attracts like, but it really does make her seem disconnected from the rest of the world.

I do approve of the black garters with the white shorts though.

I need Swiftamine because I've realized I really like Taylor for the past year or so. I even thought about going to her concert, but I couldn't use my 2.5 year old as an excuse. Girl power!

Lisa Kudrow is too old and established for this to apply, but usually you'll notice the pattern that any time in the past few years when someone suddenly becomes red hot, within a few months there will be some photo of them either on stage with Taylor at a concert, or some candid snapped with her going out to dinner with them. And yeah, in terms of her female (celeb) "BFFs", those she seems to change like some people change their socks. Then again she does that with the men (celebs) she dates too.

I need Swiftamine because I've realized I really like Taylor for the past year or so.

I admire her career savvy and ambition, if nothing else. Same thing I like about Miley Cyrus (as much as we want to roll our eyes about countless other things about Miley).

I also actually like "Blank Space" (if not all of her music equally) because that song is actually very much her making fun of her own image and proclivities.

Yeah, I've had Swift Fatigue since before she was super popular (I had a friend who used to play "Our Song" on repeat for literally hours all the way back in seventh grade), but Lisa Kudrow is heart eyes like whoa and I'm always down for a "Smelly Cat" revival.

Not Matt Leblanc with his grey hair and if you brought Jennifer Aniston out she'd just be Jennifer Aniston.

Whenever I see Taylor with a new celebrity "friend" I can't help think of Elmyra from Tiny Toons.

I love that she introduced her as Phoebe and she stayed in character and she still looks the same. Maybe she's had some work done but it's not as noticable as Courtney.  I don't think you could have brought out any of the other cast members and they'd be seen as their characters. Unless it's a really botched job, I have a hard time telling when someone's had work done. I remember seeing Lisa in Easy A, which came out in 2010, and thinking that she had noticeably aged, but that she wore the age very well. But I know what you mean about the character thing. Every time she showed up in the movie I was wondering what school district would allow Phoebe Buffay to be a high school guidance counselor and wasn't surprised when she turned out to be a pretty terrible one.
