Morbs May 19, 2015 Share May 19, 2015 (edited) The D.A and Judge should be ashamed of themselves; what morally bankrupt cowards. A year was just ludicrous. Neesmith was like a living cancer tumor, he seemed unbelievably unhealthy physically and I think he has gone through a lot of self loathing to come to the point of thinking the victim's family should mention his pain during their victim's impact statement. At least I hope he is full of self loathing. I hate when D.A's fuck up and say, "My decision wouldn't have brought the victim back, anyways!" but if it's the death penalty they want it is alllll about "justice". Mindymoo May 20, 2015 Share May 20, 2015 I watched this last night and it broke my heart. Justin deserved Justice, and for that man to only get one year sickened me. It didn't surprise me, but it sickened me. And he still kept to his BS self defense story, when his own adopted daughter said it didn't go down like that. That poor family. 1 Link to comment
Taylorh2 May 21, 2015 Share May 21, 2015 Those girls will have to live with what happen for the rest of their lives. If just one of them had just come into the room and said that they knew the boys, none of this would have happened!!!! Link to comment

Do you think them saying they knew the boys would have made much of a difference though? Something about that man tells me he still would have used that gun. Link to comment

Morbs May 23, 2015 Author Share May 23, 2015 According to the articles I have read about the case the girls were with the boys so I assume they weren't silent. They 14 year old had also lied about her age to them. Link to comment
candall May 30, 2015 Share May 30, 2015 (edited) Horrible. God bless Gillian Laub for shining her light, first on these people and their stupid fucking segregated prom and now with this film. I hope the members of the "justice system" down there cringed as they watched themselves. But probably they just felt bitter and resentful at the unfairness of the representation. "You cain't understand us if you're not from around here." It depresses me that narrowminded idiots never seem to be able to reflect and wake up and change the way they think--they always have to be exposed and shamed into changing their behaviors. Again, yay for Gillian Laub. Edited May 31, 2015 by candall 2 Link to comment
Redcookie May 31, 2015 Share May 31, 2015 So ashamed to be a white born in Georgia. Also, Google the Sheriff. His wife is quite the temptress. They should put a dome over the whole county. Disgraceful. Glad the girl took her child no left town after her father lost the race. Some races, and wars, you just can't win. 1 Link to comment
