Mother's Day Special

Anyone catch the Mother's Day hour-long special that aired last night? My DVR caught it (thanks DVR!) so I was able to watch it. It revolves around Babs and a blackout that she had while driving (parking really), resulting in a car accident. It made me sad to see Babs having health issues and then confidence issues, etc. But Whitney was same old, same old! I would love to know when this was taped because I am so damn nosy. ;-)

Doesn't  look like she's losing any weight. Is she really 'really' trying to ?

I still don't understand why "Babs" is the only one who has that accent ?  Babs was really pretty in her day/.

I too nearly missed this and my DVR caught it, so I saw *most* of it last night.  While I really liked Whitney at first, something about her personality was grating on me last night and I couldn't watch the whole show, but I sincerely hope Babs got better.  I'm not sure if I can pinpoint exactly what it is about Whitney that turns me off (it has nothing to do with her size)...maybe it was her and her brother making such a big deal about cooking and cleaning...what is she like 30?  Come on!  I've been doing that since my teens, she needs to get a grip.  Also, did they ever figure out why Babs blacked out?  She might have a real medical issue that new lipstick won't cure.

She hasn't lost one ounce since her season ended..in fact she looked heavier to me. Is she aiming for 600 pounds maybe?  Odd for her to be giving her mother advice, when she doesn't have her own life under control at all.

notyrmomma . . . I think you've hit the nail on the head as to why I don't watch this show (after seeing the first couple of episodes). I'm not that interested in watching spoiled, entitled teenagers act out, and that's just how Whitney comes across.  Not cute in actual teenagers, but obnoxious for a 30-year-old woman.

The Mother's Day episode was heartwarming to me. Whitney demonstrated endearing affection and concern for her mother. Whitney and her family interacted in an entertaining, supportive manner.
