kili March 18, 2015 Share March 18, 2015 To be fair, she's the Olympic skater -- he's bobsled (I think). Which doesn't mean he can't skate, but his Olympic sport does not involve skates. Well, to be fair, his skill does involve pushing things on ice while moving very fast. ;-) I think being in good shape is what really helped them. Pushing a chair on ice around a corner while wearing hockey skates is really not in anybody's wheelhouse. I don't think either sport gives them a lot of advantages because he's used to pushing a sleek sled along a grooved track in a straight line while wearing spiked shoes and she's taking long strides in those flip-skates. She probably had to make more adjustments than somebody who goes to the local rink with their kids and pushes them around with those walker things. 1 Link to comment
