Galileo908 February 12, 2015 Share February 12, 2015 (edited) Dennis and Mac enlist Dee to spy on the fish factory across the street, Charlie and Frank grow suspicious and decide to do some spying of their own. ETA: If there's a mod watching, can you correct the title to "The Gang Spies Like U.S."? Thanks. Edited February 12, 2015 by Galileo908 Link to comment
Galileo908 February 12, 2015 Author Share February 12, 2015 (edited) "And I used to eat SO MUCH FISH, you guys!" Sure ya did, Mac. Just don't eat the scales. Of course no one in the gang remembers "The Gang Dines Out," but their waiter certainly did. Nor did they remember him each and every time he showed up. The whole discussion about cream pies was great. I loved Frank's ad, but it needed an endorsement from Dr. Mantis Toboggan. Man, Kaitlin Olson was a total pro for going through all that with Dee in the factory. And of course it's all Dee's fault, even if it all turned out that everyone was just spying on each other's porn history. Edited February 12, 2015 by Galileo908 Link to comment
VanillaBear85 February 12, 2015 Share February 12, 2015 Yay! Mentioned that Dennis and Mac are living with Dee. Poor Dee and Waiter. "I'm annoyed, but I could eat." "You're dressed like it's Halloween" I do not understand the sitting back-to-back and talking so that sequence made me laugh. Probably my least favorite episode of the season. 1 Link to comment
Lantern7 February 12, 2015 Share February 12, 2015 Bit of a letdown this week, though anything following "Charlie Work" would be disappointing by comparison. The episode felt light, and I really don't need to think about "cream pies." Also, Dee made me cringe with her antics, as they managed to shut down the factory. Sucked to see her shut out in the end, though. 1 Link to comment
Galileo908 February 12, 2015 Author Share February 12, 2015 Yeah I'll agree that this was the weakest one so far. Link to comment
VanillaBear85 February 12, 2015 Share February 12, 2015 The fish factory part did not interest me at all. Too slapstick-y and fishy. And the reveal of "Asian" "creampie" was unexpected, but I expected...more? Link to comment
Ubiquitous February 12, 2015 Share February 12, 2015 So, they were not talking about a dessert? I am curious but anxious to see what Google says. As soon as Dee had her first hilarious mishap, I figured it would have some effect later. 1 Link to comment
Galileo908 February 12, 2015 Author Share February 12, 2015 Of all the awful things mentioned/referenced by this show, "Cream Pie" is relatively tame. Gross, but tame by IASIP standards. 2 Link to comment
william0102 February 13, 2015 Share February 13, 2015 I was kind of letdown when we found out they had been looking at porn. I thought for sure that Mac and Dennis just wanted Dee out of the apartment so they could look online for a new one, or possibly sell hers so they could take the money and get themselves a new one. Other than that, I thought it was pretty funny. I laughed out loud when Dee's hair got stuck in the conveyor belt and that woman she had been trying to talk to ran over and hacked her hair free. From a social commentary standpoint, I thought it was pretty accurate: You've got the U.S. (Mac and Dennis) sending in troops (Dee), and the NSA (Charlie and Frank) spying on their own countrymen, and then at the end, them not giving a crap about the soldiers (Dee) that come back all messed up. 2 Link to comment
DrSpaceman February 14, 2015 Share February 14, 2015 Yes, I thought there would be more to it than them just looking at porn, but still found it all funny. Them not remembering the waiter was hilarious. Dee at the factory, though slapstick, equally funny. Link to comment
